I feel bad. I can't get in to this series. this was a book I picked up over and over again in a week and couldn't connect with the story line and characters.

***I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review!***
This is part 2 of this series. The first book was a sweet version of this couple, while this book took us on a more erotic journey. This book takes place right where book 1 left off. In this book Grayson and Layla explore their desires and grow closer than ever, but even though they want to be together, there are a lot of obstacles along the way-their family, their friends, their work, and society as a whole. They have to make a choice to continue on or to let other people dictate their lives and happiness.
While I understand that the book was written with two different types of story line in mind, this book felt completely different than the first book. I think it would have made more sense for the author to do two different versions in the same book, rather than spreading them apart. You get a certain feel for the characters in the first book, and then in book 2 they are almost completely different at times.
I didn't really feel like this book did a whole lot to advance the story line, sure there was some new drama, but I felt like most of the book was about sex rather than developing the characters. Some of the characters felt one-dimensional, and I felt like time skipped a lot. There were also a lot of editing issues. As far as the story, there were two or three things that just completely threw me for a loop, and not in a good way. I must admit that one part of this story really seems implausible considering the timeline it takes place in. I don't know. I liked both of these characters in the first story, but I wasn't completely committed to this story by the end of that book. However, book 2 didn't do a whole lot for me either. I can't get into the specifics of what I really didn't like, unfortunately, because that would give away spoilers and I do not do that in my reviews.
All in all, I really couldn't get behind this series. I'm pretty positive when I decided to review this, I was told it was a 2-part series, and now I find out it is a 3-part series. I absolutely hate when that happens. I don't like going into a book thinking I will get the ending, only to find a new unexpected book at the end. This is a short book, so it really could all have been told in one sitting. Will I continue on with this series? Yes, but only because I committed to the first two and usually don't stop reading partway through unless a book is truly terrible. This book is not bad by any means, but it just wasn't my favorite. Would I recommend it? This is tricky. If you really liked book 1, then I would say continue on with book 2. If you were on the fence like me, then it might not be worth it to continue, knowing that there is now a 3rd part. I'll leave that decision up to you though.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Well, things aren't any simpler for Grayson and Layla in this book. Neither one of them talk about what happened during their night together, and they're still having to hide their true feelings from the world, especially their friends and family. Grayson's under so much pressure from his father about taking over the family business (which is NOT what he wants to do with his life) that he doesn't want to disappoint him in anything else. His dad's health is waning due to the pressures of his job and the only way to get him to see the doctor is to agree to make Sloan, Layla's best friend his date for a big party coming up.
I just want to say here that I DESPISE Sloan. I know she doesn't know what's going on with Grayson and Layla but she unwittingly hurts Layla every time she talks about him. She's really into Grayson and poor Layla has to sit and hear it all without being able to claim him as her own.
The best part of the book is when Grayson and Layla take off for a vacation to London together, just the two of them. They're able to live in a bubble of being immersed only in each other. The feelings they have for the other have transformed from best friends into a once in a lifetime soul mate sort of love. They spend the whole vacation pretending like the forces of nature aren't really against them and everything is perfect. So perfect that I was hoping they would have the strength to admit the truth to everyone when they returned.
It didn't quite work out that way, and I can't ruin it by telling you anything more. Just know that I'll be tracking down Harlow Grace for part 3 because the cliff hanger on this one is brutal!!

Last time we saw Grayson and Layla, they had finally had a chance to show their love for each other. Neither hoping it was a dream, they wake up the next morning with one eye open, smiling that the other was there, and yet aware that reality is cruel and so is a scandal in the Forbes family. And so, Grayson knowing that in 5 weeks, he will lose his dream of becoming a doctor to continue the family legacy in the mining industry, takes Layla to a week in London for her 21st birthday and to spend time with her in a completely non platonic way...
Drool worthy. The first book in the series just barely tapped into deeper relationship of Grayson and Layla, while the second starts scratching and peels layers - I Love It!! And why not? Honestly, I'm rooting that the two of them can find a way to have the family they both desire and the partner they obviously have found in each other. I've mentioned in my previous review for Billionaire Stepbrother part 1 that it was part of a series and not a stand alone, the same can be said about the second. Things in the second book start right from where the first left off, and I'm pretty sure that the third one will start where the second one will leave off.

I adore this author's writing style. Step out of the way stepbrother romance authors because a new chick is in town. She is kicking ass and taking names when it comes to sweet and sexy stepbrother romance novellas. I loved the much darker version of this story she released earlier but this is a much sweeter side. This book drew me in from page one and I can't wait for the final installment.
This book was awesome. It was a fast read that grabbed me from the beginning and had me begging for more at the end (thanks for the sneak peek!). This book was sweet, super sexy, intense, edgy, passionate, and had one hell of an ending that has me begging for the next. Be warned... this book does end on a cliffhanger but no worries since book three, the final one, is only weeks away!
This is the continuation of Layla and Grayson's story. Their chemistry is undeniable. Their bond is unbreakable. Once they crossed the line, there was no coming back. But nothing is ever uncomplicated. Pressures, expectations, and responsibilities get in the way. Grayson wants Layla. Layla wants Grayson. Obstacles stand in the way and things are about to get super complicated. Grayson and Layla are going to have to work for it. Is it possible for them? Only time will tell...

I received this for an honest review... This is one of those books when you put it down you say HOLY CRAP did I just read that.. One of those series where you look around and realize that everybody elses world is still turning not knowing that you just read an AMAZING Book!!!
Usually for me I am not a big Step-brother romance junkie but I am in absolute love with this series and am gonna say this in all honesty I NEED THE NEXT BOOK RIGHT NOW!!!
This book picked up right from where we were left off in the first book (YAY) and I was instantly in love wit these two again. These two characters are smoking hot and this story line I just felt like my heart was gonna give out at any second with this storyline!!!

Oh my gosh! I did not think Grayson and Layla's story journey could get much better, but WOW. Their trip together was beautifully bittersweet. My heart goes out to them as they face the wrath of their parents, friends and peers. Grayson has to give up his dream and work for the family empire, as well as marrying Sloane (who I still think needs to get gone!). While Layla flees, as she just cannot cope with seeing them build a life together and know that she has lost the love of her life.
The ending is a cliffhanger I realised was inevitable, but it still made me sob like a baby. Harlow, I have no words to express how much I loved Part II. Bring on September.

We start to see the naughtier version of Grayson and I loved it, “believe it,” I said. “And my ***k agrees.” I shook my stiffened ***k at her. “See what you do to me?” He's quite blunt this time around, “not as much as my ***k did. I hope you’re not planning on sleeping much.” There's another part which means we're left with a dang cliffhanger I just want the HEA with these two and now we have to wait for it, I hate waiting so I'm hoping September hurries up.

Part Two picks up where Part One ended, after a night that changes everything for Grayson and Layla. Now that they've shared something special, can they make a go at it or will this just be a one time thing.
Layla is confused, she wants to be with Grayson, but there are just so many obstacles. Grayson, for his part, knows what he wants, he just has to figure out a way to make it happen.
With that in mind, he decides to take Layla away for a late birthday trip. A week to be together without the watchful eyes of family and friends.
During their week away, they spend a lot of time together and Grayson's wild side comes out. Seriously, some hot exciting things comes his delicious mouth. And Layla comes out of her shell like nothing tiger, a sexy tiger.
All is just about perfect, but life comes a calling and back to the real world. Now that they are home, life has a way to put everything they shared into question. Can Grayson convince Layla what they shared is real or will Layla run away as fast as she can.
I loved getting to see Grayson and Layla interact without their family and friends. They've known each other for a long time, but this was on a different level. It was deep, profound, emotional, and very sensual. This story is sweet and heartwarming but also provocative and tantalizing. I can't wait to see how this story will end.

This is a hell of a second part. Wow, the hotness could break a thermometer on touch. I loved every word from the moment Grayson and Layla wake up after their fist time together to the heartbreaking cliffhanger.
The hot and caring narrative perfectly transmits the impossible situation this forbidden couple is living through. As step-siblings, they face a terrible scandal that could ruin the family's company, a heritage that Grayson's father is trying to protect at all costs. I could understand his deep need to bestow the product of his life's efforts on his son, so the pressure is tough on Grayson. There is frustration and feelings of being caged. I enjoyed seeing the consequences taking a heavy emotional toll on both Grayson and Layla.
As a final rebellion against the inevitable, Grayson proposes something that makes for a big part of this novella. It was amazing because of all the feelings, sweet and loving, and also the abundance of sensual scenes that will heat up any room even in the coldest winter ;o)
So, I had a great time with everything: the sweetness, the arousing lovemaking, the little paradise the characters enjoy apart from reality, and the comeback to drama, duty and big surprises at the end.
I'm so looking forward to the third part in September!

Dear Harlow Grace.......WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME?! The way you left me hanging, my poor kindle was almost collateral damage. I LOVE and NEED more Sweet Stepbrother.

She sees the bigger picture, but Grayson's not willing to let her go. OMG, the hotness factor in this installment was through the roof SCORCHING! The drama has been taken up a huge notch, as Layla's bestie wants Grayson, and his father approves of that union. On top of that, Grayson is being forced to take over the family business, instead of becoming a doctor. Harlow Grace has an EPIC talent at writing a very amazing and addicting series. In my mind, September is TOO FAR AWAY, and I'm pretty sure the wait is going to kill me after that ending!

Well as predicted this book is full of twist and turns, it will leave you totally pulling you hair out. I loved it. It left me sitting at the edge of my seat eager to get to the end, leaving me totally up in the air wondering what will happen next.
When Harlow Grace wrote this she knew what she was doing. Harlow wants you guessing all the way. The chemistry between Grayson and Layla was so powerful and electrifying that you were waiting for this book to combust.
You will want to really hit some of the characters because you know that these two are meant to be. It doesn't matter if they a steps they are not related by blood but scandal and position always get in the way.
Can't wait for book 3, can't wait for more surprises. I gave this book 5 stars and it's worth every one.

Well it picks up right after the ending of this first book. Reality hit them and it burst their bubble created over night. The man clearly told you he is not interested then she stoops to a low it just made me want to slap her. Sweet Billionaire Part Two picks up right after part one. There's drama around every corner. Here's a drama breakdown.
-Layla and Grayson have done the naughty and are feeling insecure.
-Can they have a romantic relationship without causing a family scandal?
-Layla's best friend, Sloane, has confessed her feelings for Grayson, awkward!
-Milton (Grayson's Father) wants grandbabies from Grayson and Sloane.

A Smokin' Second Installment
This is the second book in the series if you haven't read Book 1 I definitely recommend you go back and read that first as this book is not meant to be a standalone. That being said I really enjoyed this second book in the series, it picks up right where book 1 leaves off, and it is a lot more sexy, sweet and erotic than the first. It's once again a quick read that just grabs you from the beginning and keeps you turning the pages. Layla and Grayson have some explosive chemistry and a heap of obstacles in their path. This book ends on quite the cliffhanger, thank goodness the next installment comes out in a couple of weeks! I am just dying for there to be a HEA! Sweet Billionaire Stepbrother, Part 2 picks up with our great main characters as they have just had their initial encounters of reality going from just stepsiblings to something more.
I would have to say that the initial third of part 2 seemed at a slower pace than part 1. However, after reading past that point, the action really picked up; and when I say action, I mean ACTION. It was a story on a fast train to happy town, until some unforeseen issues arose. It was great to get more of Layla and Grayson's story, and watch as their newfound need for one another escalated. Anticipating book 3.

So happy to finally read more about Layla and Grayson. Well they finally done the deed and this send Layla into doubts and confusion. Not Grayson. He knows exactly what he wants. What he has always wanted. Layla. He will do everything to convince her that what they have together is forever. Layla is over the top about Grayson but her self-confidence is a little lacking and she tries to do what she thinks is best for everyone. This book ends in a WTF moment and a cliffhanger. This is one of the best series I have read and I cannot wait to read what will happen next with this couple and the secret revealed in this book.

They are sexier, hotter, and sweeter in this book. the whole time you just want them to be happy, that's all one can ask for right? I cannot wait for Part Three to come out! With an ending like that I need this ASAP! If you love a good stepbrother romance, I highly recommend this little series. I love Grayson and Layla! Their love for each other, and their chemistry is amazing. They both know they shouldn't feel this way about each other, because they are step siblings, but they just can't help the way they feel. Grayson and Layla are trying hard to hide their relationship from everyone, afraid of their reactions. What will happen when Layla learns that her friend has feelings for Grayson, and Grayson's father is hoping for a match between Grayson and Sloane? Will they reveal their feelings, or will Layla run away? I can't wait to read part 3!

This book picks up right where the first one left off, with Grayson and Layla in bed together. A misunderstanding keeps them apart for a few days but then they take a trip to London together and just have the best time of their lives. The entire trip they stay in bed together and you can feel their love for one another but they don't admit it. Once they get back more misunderstanding and Layla leaves to work in Africa and gets some life changing news. Can't wait to see Grayson's reaction to all this.

This book was amazing because of all the feelings, sweet and loving, and the sensual scenes had enough heat to warm any room even on the coldest day.
I really enjoyed this book will all the sweetness, the hot lovemaking, the little paradise the characters enjoy apart from reality, and the comeback to drama at the end. I'm so looking forward to the next third part.

Finally sexy Grayson has shown us his naughty side and Layla is coming out of her geeky girl side! Hot is just one word I'd describe this book and then the ending is OMG I can't believe this! Just an amazing series that I just can't get enough of!
Layla and Grayson finally get away into their own little world with just each other for a few days! But the reality kicks in and everything comes crashing down!

SWEET BILLIONAIRE STEPBROTHER Part 2 picks up right from where part 1 left off. Now that Grayson and Layla have given into their temptation, where does their relationship go now? Maybe a trip to London to celebrate Layla's birthday is an option? Very lucky Layla.
Again, this was a quick read, but a very good one. Just the type of story to get lost in if you aren't up to focusing on anything too heavy. The love scenes are hot!!
