While giving information to patients with either Type 1 or 2, this book leans more toward Type 2. In my copy there are 170 brief tips. This book explains lots of terms and conditions clearly and concisely. It is not an all encompassing reference, but it is a good place to start.
The format is specific question and then the answer. I did learn some new facts about type 2 and taking care of myself. The book is most appropriate for those who have just developed diabetes. Because of the book, I will be looking for a diabetes educator.
