"Any man who submits to me does so with confidence that he deserves the best.”
When a practical joke goes wrong for Ryan Hall, junior IT employee, he has no idea that a hot rendezvous can lead to secret love. Billionaire CEO Geoff discovers and fulfills Ryan's desires, but it's obvious they crave more than physical connection. He lets Geoff “punish” him as they try to scratch the itch for each other without admitting to their feelings. After Ryan becomes Geoff's new personal assistant, he decides to give Geoff an ultimatum... but first, he gets an opportunity he can't turn down.

Self-made billionaire Geoff Parker never dreamed that he'd find that special someone in one of his employees. He has wounds to hide and a reputation to maintain, but he's desperate to know if Ryan feels the same pull towards him. He's happy to have Ryan over his knee, but even his staff see that he's happier even when Ryan's nearby. It's worth the risk; he gives Ryan the chance after a hot encounter to take their relationship from professional and physical to deeply personal.

Their first steamy explorations give way to their growing passion, but a man Ryan suspects is Geoff's ex and the eyes of the office stand in their way. Can they forge through the rocky terrain between hookup and happily dating, or will scandal and fear hold them back from their potential?

Tied is the first book in the Secret Love duo. The second book, Bound, will be released on July 17th, 2015.

So we're just gonna be okay with rape as long as it's two dudes, huh? And as long as one guy is "teasing" the other, and there's no physical force involved? "But Katrina," you say, "Ryan could have just walked out of Geoff's office if he didn't want to have his virginity taken on his boss's desk."

Sure. If he wanted to lose his job. And perhaps be humiliated. Look, there's a reason fraternization rules are drawn up and enforced in the workplace, and it is precisely so situations like the one depicted in this book don't happen!

God. It's bad enough we continually foster a rape culture where women are told we're "asking for it" if we wear a skirt, now we're holding gay men to that same fucked up standard? Take a dick pick? Time to suck your boss's cock.

Fucking hell.

I enjoyed this book very much. I had already read the serial on which it was based "Tied to his job", so I was aware of the basic plot and where the storyline was going, but the re-editing to make this feel much more like a novel, with additional pieces from the point of view of Geoff really enhanced the story for me, and the little link with Silas and Felix was something I hadn't expected. The writing flowed easily and the various encounters between Geoff and Ryan felt less forced than I had remembered from the original version of the story and the relationship feels as though it is developing much more naturally and genuinely for both parties.
This book does have a cliff hanger and I eagerly await the second part in a couple of weeks (hopefully) to see how "Bound" will conclude the tale of Geoff and Ryan's growing relationship of lust, as it turns into care and love.
I received a free ARC of this book, in exchange for an honest review.

Fun

I found the initial situation that got Ryan involved with Geoff to be a bit far-fetched, and sort of creepy. But once they were together, I enjoyed the boss/assistant trope.

The end of this book definitely feels like there wasn't really a conclusion, just a to be continued in the next book.

Very cliche, tacky and overall badly done. The characters have no real depth, the sex is almost all the same....., I also couldn't quite figure out if there was any story behind it. I do want to know what happens next though, so I will look at book 2 as well. If nothing else, I expect some storytelling there, since we finally got a clincher at the end of book 1.

One good spank deserves another

This is a tempting romance with a love for spanking. Ryan gets caught by his boss when he is playing a trick on his friend. One thing leads to another and to spanking and sex.
Employee and boss have to be careful. They don't want their relationship getting out until they know what is going on. One person threatens their happiness.
This is a cliffhanger, but luckily the second book is already available.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Ryan works in I.T. along with his friend Cory. The two like to prank each other with dick pics. When Ryan decide to take the prank further than pictures on a phone things go from fun to inappropriate bad when the pic gets setup as wallpaper background for the whole office. Trying to fix his mistake, plans goes awry when Cory and himself are caught red handed by the boss, Geoff. Ryan takes responsibility, Cory is excused and Geoff dishes out the punishment. But the punishment isn't as bad as it seems and Ryan can't help but come back for more. The relationship between Geoff and Ryan becomes blurred, Geoff just wants sex because he's been burned before and Ryan wants more but is too afraid of rejection.

Overall not bad. I liked getting to know all the characters. i enjoyed seeing the insecurity and how into the sex they were. I was a bit concerned about aftercare since there didn't seem to be any present in the book. I'm not sure how i felt about the questionable casual description of their relationship after they had a talk to define it. I'm curious about how Cory will deal with catching Ryan and Geoff together.

A good series start

This is a good start to what can be a good series .

I thought this would be a little more hard-core than it was but all in all it was still a good read .

The characters were easy to fall into like with, but there wasn't enough details for me to fall in love with them yet. I'm hoping that is going to come with the next books in the series . The dialogue flowed nicely with the characters and was made where it was easy to feel as if I was part of the conversation. The flow of the story was done nicely and the description to detail was easy to visualize.

This is written as a multi point of view. It does not have an HEA. It does have a pseudo cliffhanger. You could stop at this book if you wanted to and feel as if you have a complete story , but I would really recommend reading the next one.

All in all a good read .

Would I recommend this book? Yes

Would I read more from this author? Yes

So, this is definitely like...escapist/fantasy romance what with the virgin new lowly IT employee falling for the kinky billionaire who wants to take care of him. Spanking is not my kink of choice to read about, and there was a lot here...and it was just kinda hard to read since Ryan and Geoff are on such uneven playing grounds at the start of this. But something kept me reading and then going on the second book, which I did enjoy more than the first one.

DNF at 38%--This came across as an adolescent fantasy, not a story about two strong, adult males. I almost gave up after the first chapter but ever hopeful.... Just grateful this was an Unlimited book and not one I paid full price for.

Received for an honest review. I loved it. E is amazing with putting his stories together. I love thee two together. They are full of desire and only see each other. Even as they try to deny it, it is only what they want and it is each other.

No plot really just a fantasy read....(that's my nice way of saying literary porn) sometimes the excessive erotic scenes are hot but this just was so ridiculous I stopped at about 30% because the characters basically got it on, at first sight.

Not for me.

This is an earlier work of E. Davies. Tied is a wonderful book. It is an office romance between Geoff the boss and Ryan his new assistant. Lots of hot sex, give and take, and learning to trust.
