Beneath Your Beautiful

On the outside, Huntley Morgan is your typical girl-next-door, with her long blonde hair and piercing blue eyes, and that’s exactly what she wants people to see. Her name exposes her to the demons of her past but remembering her reason for moving across the country to start over is what keeps her alive.

For the first time since the brutal murder of her mother, Huntley allows herself to care about the people around her.

Grayson Carter has everything a 21yr old College Senior could wish for – he’s the star of Whitley University’s football team, he has a different girl willing to be in his bed every night and a supportive family. For years he has managed keep his family together and hide their dark secrets from the small town of Breckinridge, Alabama.

When Huntley and Grayson meet, a force so strong pulls them together in a hurricane of feelings neither of them could have ever anticipated. Huntley and Grayson try to stay away from each other, but when Huntley’s demons seek her out, their pasts become the biggest storm of all.

Will they learn to trust each other and build a new future together or will they simply do nothing to prevent history from repeating itself?

“You don’t want to see beneath the surface Gray, there is a reason I only show people what they want to see.” – Huntley

“You are so determined to hide your broken soul that you don’t see how beautiful those pieces make you. You have completely disarmed me Huntley, you have left my heart and soul naked and all I want is for you to see that I am in love with every goddamn broken piece of you. I don’t want anyone else.” - Grayson

DNF @38% . They are back and forth too much and none of it makes any sense. She's hiding a "secret" and he is too though I'm not sure what his is at this point. Plus the reactions of some of the things that happen is just too ridiculous and some of these characters are having TSTL moments. I had really hoped this was a good one and had an obsessed hero and while he was obsessed in the fact he always thought about the heroine, he would act then basically "take it back". This was a freebie so, I'm calling it and I'm out.

I am obviously in the minority here, because I tried really hard , but found it really difficult to enjoy this book.

It started off with so much promise. Broken young girl with the sad past goes to college and meet the resident playboy with his own sad past. But I just couldn't get past The Sometimes cheesy dialogue, the flat characterisations, and the oftentimes annoying Mc's. They overreacted in the smallest of Things, and were oftentimes overemotional, nothing turns me off more than a heroine Who cries almost all the fricken time, yes your story is Sad but shit! Please either see a therapist or harden the F up.

If This was a movie I would probably say that the plot was over the top and the actors over acted everything... so I fastforwarded to The ending.

I tried to like this but the OW drama and the way these guys treat their ex bed buddies, even they deserve it or not, is ridiculous. Just because he sees a new girl he likes. I don't want to hear about how good the ex waz in bed either. That is just gross. I

I am finished with this author. I just don't like all the angst and the back and forth feelings and high school stuff. I know it was college but they acted like kids. Just say no. Another miss for me. I really liked them in the second book and I am glad I didn't read this first. And Brody is still a douche. I didn't like him in the second book and definitely not in here. I really tried.

There was just something about it I didn't like!

**** spoilers ****

Come on seriously! You are afraid he isn't gonna wanna be with you because your big dark secret is that your ex boyfriend pushed you down the stairs and beat the crap out of you????? It's not like you killed someone or something.. Geez o Pete. I wish some of these girls in all of these books had spines! Call me crazy but Grayson didn't do much for me. Maybe I like the torchured bad boy a little to much! The guy is from the south and plays football! He should be drop dead sexy but he just isn't!!

So, so predictable and yet so, so enjoyable! This is the story of two youngsters who have been burned by love before and yet find the strength within themselves to love each other.

Despite the recycled plot and the predictable aspects of this book, Ms. Bester managed to keep me interested until the very end. If any of you are looking for a beach read this summer, this is your book!

***Note: As I have said before, rating a book 3 stars doesn't mean I didn't like it. I did. I liked the book, I didn't love it, I just think we often over-inflate our ratings sometimes.

5 AMAZING STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't even begin to tell you how much I loved this book. Read it in one day. Once I started I just couldnt stop. I went into completely blind, there were zero reviews posted. I fell in love with the cover and was hooked by the sample and said 'what the heck' so far so good and decided to download it to my kindle...and boy am I glad I did. Wooo, where to start-Huntley:beautiful girl, who's been through ALOT!

(who am I kidding 'alot' is and understatement...the fact the she has been through multiple tragedies in such a short amount of time is simply heartbreaking. And the fact that she still manages to smile and be happy, just shows how strong she is)

She's just a strong, beautiful person. Now onto Grayson (swoons), sweet, SEXY, amazing Grayson. I'm pretty sure I fell for him long before Huntley did (and so will you). I don't want to spoil anything, so simply put. 'Beneath your beautiful' tells the story of two "broken souls" who find their way to each other and how their Love takes those 'broken souls' and puts them back together again :) Beautiful Story. Beautiful Characters.

P.S. Demi and Brody= OMG. AMAZING. Their love story is just as heartwrenching and beautiful as Grayson+Huntler Crossing my fingers that they get their own novel, I'll even settle for a novella (pretty please!?!)

This book didn't do it for me but it seems like I am in the minority. I really wanted to like it because it sounded like it was right up my alley; college romance with a swoon-worthy player. I was really disappointed because I hate books where everything is rushed and I am all about the chase in the beginning. I didn't feel their instant connection and then when they are together the author skips the first two months of their relationship!? What's up with that.

So for those of you who like the chase and the building of intensity between the MC's - think twice about picking up this book.

It wasn't bad but I wasn't thrilled either - I have a feeling that I will soon forget it, which is rather sad since it had so much potential.

Have I mentioned that when I see a pretty cover I always have to read the book not caring what the blurb is? No well I am now I LOVE THIS FREAKIN' COVER! I loved this book and I just adored, yes ADORED Huntley's auntie, "oh nonsense! I may have gone a little overboard but it is nothing less than you deserve. Your Uncle Alex and I want you to feel at home, because as of right now this is and always will be your home. Besides, I didn't want you starting your first day of classes stickin' out like a Barbie doll at a Rodeo." I loved being in Grayson's mind it was kinda more entertaining then being in Huntley's
"she really shouldn't do that, I don't need any more reason to stare at her breasts.
I wonder what it would be like if we had babies?
Whoa, where the eff did that come from?"
Yeppers, more entertaining. Huntley well she's not one to beat around the bush about things, "then make a effing decision! I'm not a yo-yo!" Grayson you can tell he loves his girl and will do anything for her, and seeing her happy just brings him so much joy, "her excitement over something as simple as baking cupcakes makes me smile. My girl is easy to please." He's just an all around great guy, has some flaws but who doesn't have those, he's a tad bit cocky, but then name one man who isn't, "baby, I'll rock your world if that's what it takes." Needless to say this is one book I need to have for my bookshelf.

First of all let me just say that I LOVE this title!! It has such a beautiful meaning to it. Going into this book, I knew instantly I was going to fall for Grayson. Mr. Popular "player" to the world, but such a good guy with a heart of gold on the inside.

This is a story of love at first sight.....
Huntley and Grayson meet when Huntley moves to live with her aunt and uncle after losing both of her parents. Needless to say Grayson is instantly smitten with Huntley.
But after everything Huntley has been through she is not so easily convinced and the two try to stay away from one another.
Both have secrets they hide deep inside. And both are afraid once those secrets are revealed that the other will run.
But what ensues, is a sweet drama filled love story of two broken people.
There is so much more to this story but I don't want to give too much away! Oh ok, what the heck, maybe just a little more! ;)
Once Huntley's past catches up with her is when the real drama starts. I kept thinking to myself...how much more can this poor girl take?!

Then there was the story of their best friends Demi and Brody. Oooo lala!! Talk about more angsty loving drama! I will be honest and say, that I loved their story as much as I did Huntley and Grayson's.
And the ending....oh the ending!!!
Let me just put a WARNING TO READER in here. If.....you hate to ugly cry at HAPPY endings. Do not read the end! Because it is one BIG, happy, crying ugly tears kind of ending! It was GREAT!!
And THAT is why Beneath Your Beautiful by Tamsyn Bester gets 5 "Crazie good" stars from this reviewer! <3 Cami

Beneath Your Beautiful is jam packed with twists and turns. This book has drama coming from every direction. Both Huntley and Grayson are complex individuals carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders. Their pasts are filled with regret, turmoil and loss. Even though they have been through more than most people their age, I wouldn’t call them broken. Time and time again they manage to come out on top. It seems a dark cloud is hovering over them for most of the book. Surprisingly, this is what allows us to see who they really are on the inside.

Like most books we read, the author has created two gorgeous characters in Huntley and Grayson. As readers we focus on their outward appearance to get a clear description of what they look like set in our minds. You can be a knockout and still an ugly person depending on what lies beneath your beautiful. The storyline in this particular book challenges the characters to look beneath the superficial layers and concentrate on invading one another’s hearts.

I didn’t completely understand the title of this book when I purchased it. I read the synopsis and felt like it had a lot of potential. Little did I know, the title would be the one thing that touched me the most. Take the time to read this one. This is one of those books where fictional characters start to become real people as you find yourself rooting for them and feeling for them. I look forward to more from this author in the future.

*2.5/3*
I don't even know what to say here this one had way too much drama for no reason. Let's start with in the synopsis it says her mom was killed well that storyline really didn't work it at all. It makes you think that her mother's killer us after her and that is the dark secret that she is hiding. If her mom was going to be dead then it should had been from type of disease.
I also didn't understand how Huntley and Demi meet the book makes it seem like they are both freshman but as you keep reading Demi has already been in school and she started with Brody and Grayson. Now this is not saying I do not like Demi because I do its just that the beginning of their friendship just doesn't make sense.
Now when I say too much drama every time you look up Huntley was in danger and instead of feeling the suspense it made me laugh. Instead of her ex Jake showing make up should had been her ex BFF Taylor and wanting forgiveness that would had way more sense than the whole all of a sudden crazy ex boyfriend.
Let's not forget the almost date rape from Luke I knew was going to happen because she a feeling that he was no good from the start. I just didn't get it.
I know it may seem like I didn't like it but I did kinda like it. I just didn't like all the uncalled drama it was like overkill.

I kinda like this book... Huntley and Grayson both are hunted by demons of their past... two beautiful people who was hurt and afraid to trust... Till they found and healed each other. I love Huntley, she's strong and goes for what she wants and that is Grayson... and Grayson is absolutely gorgeous and very protective of her. There is romance, action and a little bit of suspense... The only thing I didn't like was the ending, a tad bit predictable... and there's a question about what happened to her ex bff who got pregnant with her ex bf? And was her mom murdered? What happened there?

I liked the story at the outset, but got hung up on the dialog, especially Grayson's. The way he talked and the story from his POV did not feel like that of a male, American, 21 year old to me. Several words and phrases were not American and distracted me. I also read a lot of cliches that were trying to get me to feel something but they felt disingenuous and forced. The cover is pretty and this story has a HEA :-)

Gray: I'm in love with you Huntley
Hunt: You can't be Gray. How can you love something that is broken? (WTF?!?! What an awful line!)

The prologue was good but from the first chapter and onwards, I just breezed through it and just focused on the conversations... I got bored... :(

I've read a story with the same plot. Girl got pregnant, was kicked by her ex, the baby died, kept it a secret... blah blah blah...

**JUST BOOKED received an ARC for an Honest Review**

BEAUTIFUL… PULLS YOUR HEARTS STRINGS …. BEAUTIFUL!

Beneath Your Beautiful is the perfect title for Tamsyn Bester’s newest contemporary romance novel, because it is about two people desperate in love with each other in addition to afraid in falling in love. People only see our physical beauty of individuals, but to truly see beauty someone has see past our personal shields we hide behind to protect our fragile hearts. It is only with our hearts we can truly feel stripped emotionally and physically, before we can true fell intimacy with each other and ourselves.

After losing her parents, Huntlley Morgan packs the remaining of her things and moves to Breckinridge, Alabama to attend the Whitley University and to be closer to her only family she has left. Huntley is a beautiful blonde-haired young lady with long hair, crystal blue eyes, a heart shaped face, a button nose, and has a tall slight muscular built. Even though beautiful, she has a very tainted past filled with heartache and abuse.

Then there is Grayson Carter, at 21 years old his reputation at the university is as of a ‘ladies’ man’. Grayson is gorgeous with hypnotizing green eyes, dark brown hair, broad shoulders at 6’ft tall, square jaw, and full kissable lips. Grayson is also the star of the football team were Huntley uncle happens to be the coach too. Grayson not only becomes mesmerized by Huntley when he sees her for the first time, but again for the second like moths to a flame while singing, ‘Holding out For A Hero’ by Ella Mae Bowen at Lake Dixon.

“I need a hero
I'm holding out fI need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong
And he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure
And it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than”

Beneath Your Beautiful is a BEAUTIFUL SOUTHERN CHARM LOVE STORY that will capture your attention immediately and will be unable to put the book down. While reading, you will find yourself on A HEART WRENCHING EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER experiencing many emotions as the characters did in the novel, like CRYING, LAUGHING, SADNESS, JOY, RAGE, FRIGHT, and LOVE. Tamsyn Bester’s romance novel, Beneath Your Beautiful, is her first novel in the Beautiful series and with much relief does not end with huge cliffhanger. Tamsyn will not have us to waiting too long to find out more about the lives of all the characters in the second novel in the Beautiful series, because Tamsyn provides a prologue for the sequel.

I rate Tamsyn Bester’s romance novel in the Beautiful series, Beneath Your Beautiful - 5 COUNTRY STARS!

My reviews on good books are hardly adequate, but I really feel like good books can speak for themselves. "Beneath Your Beautiful" is one of those books. It had fantastic romance that didn't skip right to love and HEA like the recipes for the iffy romances do, and it had real, every day problems that college students have to deal with. (Let's be honest how many students have such soul-shattering depression that they can't find their way out of? Huntley's and Grayson's problems were real.)

That was my attempt at gushing, as you can see, it's kind of a weak one. (Oh well, my point was made.)

There were things that I didn't like though, and most of it was structural and grammar related.

1. It was really hard to identify new paragraphs with the way the text was set up. (Maybe this was just a problem in the Kindle edition, but I thought I'd put it out there) Plus, there were dialogue changes that needed the paragraph breaks that weren't there--which was kind of frustrating too, it was more difficult than it should have been to identify the speaker.

2. The lack of an editor was a problem, because the punctuation errors drove me up the fucking wall. When you're talking to a person, and you say their name in the sentence as the reference, there needs to be a comma separating it from the sentence. (i.e., "Everything will be ok ,,,,,, my beautiful girl" I will not even get into the fact that that is not how you spell okay, because I will certainly rant about given the chance.) And of course the apostrophes on possessive pronouns were inconsistent and inaccurate most of the time.

3. Last one. The only other thing that really bothered me was that Grayson's point of view just wasn't entirely a believable guy, especially in the beginning. He was so clearly written by a woman that I had trouble with his POV. (I cannot count how many times the word "bro" was used. It was annoying.) I can't entirely explain it, but he just seemed really feminine, most of the guys did unless they were the assholes, in which case they were represented as vulgar, dickheads and violent. Not sure I liked that. (All guess who aren't complete douche canoes are ultra sensitive? ehhhhh.... probably not.)

Rating: 4 stars. This was a good one, an exellent debut. I can't wait to read her next book that comes out.

"You hear about people crossing paths in their lives and you hear about people's paths running alongside each other in perfect symmetry. But what you dont often hear about is the union of two roads that become one."

Huntley moves to small town America after the death of her mother and a violent past that left her broken. Taken into a new life by her aunt and uncle puts her in direct contract with Graysen Carter. He too is damaged and wants nothing in life but to be numb, but their connection is cosmic...beyond the control of anyone including themselves.

"We are but a single soul, inhabiting two bodies."

No words are truer than those when you read about Gray and Huntley's story. They have to overcome the guilt inside themselves and learn to forgive and open their hearts to each other. They have to deal with each others pasts that are ugly and that come crashing into.their present.

"Let me see beneath your beautiful."

They are so sickly sweet and perfect...heart melting glances, forehead touches, hands intertwined, and lips just a breath apart. You can't help the Awwww that escapes when you are reading.

"She is mine and I am hers."

"You are my heartbeat, the air in my lungs and my reason to live."

A truly romantic story filled with lots of pure love, hot chemistry, forgiveness, great communication, and new beginnings. This read was sweet goodness from the first chapter, and I liked it a lot.

Awesome book. This book had everything was looking for as a book. I was hooked from the very first line of the book.
We meet Huntley Morgan. She had some bad stuff happened to her in her life. We find out more later in the book what that is. She comes to live with her aunt and uncle because her parents are dead. There she meets Grayson who is the star of the football team that her uncle coaches. You can see the love pour off the pages from the love the two of them have for each other. Grayson has a some heartbreak as well in his past. Together they work threw both of the broken hearts. It was a great read.

Some of my favorite lines are:
"you are so determined to hide your broken soul that you don't see how beautiful those pieces make you. You have completely disarmed me Huntley, you have left my heart and soul naked and all I want is for you to see that I am in love with every goddamn broken piece of you. I don't want anyone else."
and....
Relationships aren't just about the good times or the intimate moments. Its about supporting each other through the challenges and hard times and coming out the other end together.

After reading it I found out the author hadn't written any other books. She is working on another one though. I can't wait to read that one too.

Beneath Your Beautiful is a beautiful love story and a great debut novel by Tamsyn Bester. It is the story of Huntley and Grayson who meet when Huntley moves to a new town, a town where Grayson is a local footballer. These two both have heartbreak in their pasts and this will tug at your heartstrings. They try to fight their attraction but are pulled together and they have to work through a lot of stuff to build a relationship.

This book has a fair bit of drama and angst which I really enjoyed (I do love a good angsty read!). I also really liked the progression of Huntley and Grayson's relationship; the author worked up to it rather than just throwing them together straight away which can be quite unbelievable in a book. I was glad there was none of that in this book. The family and friends that surround them were also a great addition to the book.

If you are looking for a good love story with some angst, heartbreak, drama and friendship you should check this book out!

Beneath Your Beautiful is an exceptional book. When I found out that this was the authors debut novel I was floored. Tamsyn Bester's writing pulls you from your seat and takes you head first into the story. While reading this amazing book I felt like I was a part of the story, going on the journey along with the characters.

Huntley Morgan and Grayson Carter have each suffered their own heartbreak in the past. Huntley continues to be caught up in the drama and it's taking its toll on her stress level. Grayson's back and forth attentiveness isn't helping things. The first time Grayson see's Huntley he is surprised by how drawn he feels toward her, not only her beauty, but something else is there too. He has been hurt in the past and isn't willing to risk heartbreak again, but can he resist forever?

I fell in love with this emotional wonderful story about family, friends, and love. Read it and you will too.

Okay lets start off by saying- I loved the book. Now the only problem I had with it is the fact I know the girl on the cover personally. I went to high school with her last year, and I can honestly say that's not at all how she acts. Her personality is much different then huntley's. So that kind of ruined the entire book for me because I was picturing the character on the cover as my friend rather than Huntley. and same goes for her boyfriend (who is pictured on the cover as well) but I would definitely recommend this book to people who don't know the girl on the cover because it made the experience a little less realistic.

(but I think we can all agree those two make the cover! She is seriously so beautiful- and for the sake of the author & photographer kudos to you because that's really how she looks in person, it doesn't look enhanced at all!)

3/5 stars. This book was good for I believe is a debut novel for this author. I had a few issues with it which is why it did not get 5/5.

First, there was too much unnecessary drama that occurred throughout the whole book. It seemed it was done to make the book longer and if that's the case I'd rather have read a shorter book with less drama.

And secondly there were enough mistakes with the timing throughout the whole book to bother me. For example, it said she had a date with Luke? The next weekend but weeks passed before that date came up again. This is one of MANY examples.

Other than that really good job for a debut novel and ill see what the author comes up with next.

Review:

I just loved it. I'm madly in love with Grayson and Huntley's story. It's a sweet, funny, innocent and lovable romance that would hooked you from the first page.
I was truly impressed with Tamsyn's book. Her writing is wonderful, clear and drags you into the story easily. The plot is unique and it's something that the readers might think that it's almost real. I think I liked that a lot. There's also the perfect amount of drama and unexpected twists that make you want to read until the last page to see how Huntley and Grayson end.
Another thing that I really liked about Beneath Your Beautiful is that there are two different points of view: Huntley's and Grayson's. I truly loved see the progress in their story through Huntley's eyes and though Grayson's and see the different reaction from both of them. Just loved it.
As for the characters, all have the perfect mix to make them memorable and awesome. For me, Huntley is presented to us like a fragile, innocent and wonderful girl. Sweet and with an instant attraction to hot and gorgeous Grayson. With a bad past behind her back, she's struggling with a lot of problems, bad memories and horrible nightmares. She has promised herself that she would do something important, something with her life that would make her parents proud. And that she would never let anyone enter her life, because it hurts. Way too much.
Grayson is the perfect definition of a hot and gorgeous womanizer. He's been hurt before by his ex-girlfriend and since then he does not do relationships. He's done with all the love and letting a person enter her life, take his heart and, then, break his heart. Because it hurt so much that he could not bear it again. So one night stand sounds perfect for him. That's until he puts his eyes on sweet, innocent Huntley who is the most beautiful girl he's ever seen.
Their romance is so pure and noble that you cannot stop wishing for them to be together. With the perfect amount of problems and a real relationship, you know from the first moment they met that Huntley and Grayson are meant to be together.
Demi is Huntley's best friend. She's funny, spontaneous and a great character that cares about Huntley a lot. I really liked her. And as for Brody, he's Grayson's best friend since they were little. He reminded me to Jiminy cricket, always giving Grayson wise advices and telling the almost truth to Huntley, trying to make these two confess their mutual attraction and start the relationship they both want, but don't know it yet.
And what's the most incredible and sweet thing about these two characters, Demi and Brody? That they are in love since they were six and Demi threw at Brody a muddy pie for calling her dress ugly. Sweet or not? Just in love with these two. When they are together are almost always fighting and they were mostly the two characters that made me laugh a lot while reading the story.
I'm giving this book a five gorjuss dolls, not only because it has captivated me and made my heart ache, but because this story has the perfect amount of pure romance, drama, teary scenes and funny ones, and the credible plot that would make you picture Huntley and Grayson, and Demi and Brody, and their story as a real one.
I sincerely hope to read more about these characters and I will definitely give a chance to all the books that Tamsyn would write in the future, because she writes unique stories, full of incredible characters and unforgettable romance, and she has a great talent that I hope she would take full advantage of it.
Finally, to end this review that I was dying to write, I want to thank the author of this book that it's on my favorite books shelf, Tamsyn Bester, for writing this wonderful story and letting us read it, and Ena, from Swoon Worthy Books, for organizing this wonderful tour and for including us.
So, Book Addicts, the only thing left to us is that you need to read Beneath Your Beautiful, because you are gonna love it. I know it. If you like New Adult stories, and romance stories, this is definitely one of the best books for you to read. Give a chance to Beneath Your Beautiful and let Huntley, Grayson, Demi and Brody to enter your life.

""I'm in love with you," I blurt out.
Her eyes widen and brim with tears. "What?"
I cup her face and look into her eyes. "I'm in love with you, Huntley."
"You can't be, Gray. How can you love something that is broken?"
"You are so determined to hide your broken soul that you don't see how beautiful those pieces make you. You have completely disarmed me, Huntley. You have left my heart and soul naked and all I want is for you to see that I am in love with every goddamn broken piece of you. I don't want anyone else."

#DNF. Told in the first-person PoV. 20 pages in and couldn't get into the story with the writing style.

“My Uncle Alex stands in my doorway and takes up most of the frame with his huge body. On the outside he looks mean and fierce, but on the inside he’s a giant teddy bear. I know that from experience but also from seeing how he cherishes his wife and two daughters. He told me shortly before I decided to move here that he felt the same way about me and that he was happy to have me as part of his little family. Of course I cried after that conversation.”

Free on Kindle right now.

"You hear about people crossing paths in their lives and you hear about people's path running alongside each other in perfect symmetry. But what you don't often hear about is the union of two roads that eventually become one."

Beneath your beautiful is just that. A beautiful love story. Add a few dashes of major drama, a couple crazy exes, some serious douchebag males that make you want to pummel them...well hell, this books packs a punch but does it with a high dose of sweetness.

Huntley has been hurt. She has a douchebag ex (see above comment), both of her parents are gone and, well she is just one sad little beautiful soul. Luckily for her that she has one amazing Aunt and Uncle. Seriously they are like butter on cornbread sweet! Amazing.

Oh did I forget something about this book? It makes me speak in my finest southern drawl. No clue why, but it really did bring out my roots. Lol.

Grayson is a gorgeous, misunderstood star quarterback who has been hurt. Now now, don't start up your 'OMG I am sure he is' attitudes. Believe me he really has been through it all. Seriously parts of his story had me near tears. But just sometimes his ways simply got on my nerves. Alas sometimes so did Huntley. I had to remind myself that they are kids with issues that would break adults...
"Because this is a bad idea. You're going to break me and I'm already damaged. I'm just not sure how much longer I can stay away from you."

What finally happens when their guards come down? It's lovely. We have a true blue love story brewing in the pages. First kisses, perfect dates under the stars and enough butterflies in your belly to make you jump. This book made me want to hold my hubs hand and catch lightning bugs. And, we have sexy too. It was a great mixture.
"You are so determined to hide your broken soul that you don't see how beautiful those pieces make you. You have completely disarmed me, Huntley. You have left my heart and soul naked and all I want is for you to see that I am in love with every goddamn broken piece of you. I don't want anyone else."

I say sit down, grab a sweet tea, open your heart and be prepared to fall in love page after page. The story spills from the pages and plays with your heart and soul.
Every bad thing stings and something great heals it. It's two people coming together and being better for it, mended and no longer broken. Great friends and family too. Read this story...

Congrats! I cannot wait to see what comes next from Tamsyn Bester ♥
