Life was an American magazine published weekly from 1883 to 1972, as an intermittent "special" until 1978, and as a monthly from 1978 until 2000. During its golden age from 1936 to 1972, Life was a wide-ranging weekly general interest magazine known for the quality of its photography.

Life With Father by the editors of Life Magazine (Little, Brown 1995) (306.874) (3515).

This is a beautiful little book of photos of fathers with their children. I know the adoring look that fathers and their children share with one other. I know that look. I have seen it all my life, for I was blessed with the greatest father one could imagine. I know how I look at him and how he looks at me.

But now there is another wrinkled old face that gazes lovingly at his children. It is my own face as I look upon my own children with grace and gratitude.

I can only hope and pray that my children feel the same way about me. I believe they do!

My rating: 7/10, finished 3/26/21. I was given (by my daughter!) a HB copy of this volume in good condition on 3/12/21.

A book filled with nice pictures of Dad's and their kids. It is nice and filled with some good quotes. I recommend to help inspire you to take some good photos of you and your family and looks for the good ones of you as a child.

A sweet little photo book of fathers and their children. Most capture them in spontaneous play or activities. Good photography.

This collection has a nice mix of images of fathers both famous and not. There are some really great photographs of Old Hollywood celebrities and their kids as well as some rarely seen photos of JFK and RFK and their children. The inside endpapers are also pretty cute with the father & child silhouette images. There are some nice companion quotes as well. Didn't love this collection quite as much as the companion book celebrating mothers, but still a really nice photographic book perfect for gifting!
