I had high hopes for this book. It was well written, but very intro level. More of a "learn to program, using Swift" than "Writing cool applications in Swift." It wasn't until the last few chapters that an application was even written to run on an i emulator, and that got very short service. Beyond that, I just didn't find Swift to be a very exciting language, although it's light years better than Objective-C.
