This book begins after Profile of Terror and takes you into the minds and hearts of the victims families, the families that now have to learn how to go on after their loved ones are taken from them in such a horrific way. This book also looks at the other side of the coin...how does the family of the murderer manage and go on after learning that the ones they loved and though they knew were monsters?
Detective Cameron Chase has a responsibility to the people in the county he serves even if the people he is trying to protect are the parents of two serial killers and even if it makes the entire county and his own family upset with him, it is his job to find them justice and to protect them. Interviewing the family of victims is hard enough but someone is out for revenge......retribution.

Alexa Grace Has Done It Again. Profile of Retribution is an intense, exciting, edge-of-your seat, must read, thriller! The third book in the Profile Series is very well written and takes you through a range of emotions. It is a very hard book to put down once you start reading it. I highly recommend this book Even though it is a stand-alone, don't miss out on Profile of Evil and Profile of Terror.

I loved the different take with this story. I’ve often wondered how parents or significant others are doing and how they are handling their loss/grief. Following up with those left behind in the aftermath of the devastation from the Gamers rampage is a brilliant concept and Alexa Grace delivered. It was an awesome read. There’s romance and another mystery thrown in so this is a total package. I really enjoyed this new type of story line. I hope to see more like it!

If you haven't read the Profile series, do it now and then read this book. Alexa Grace brings us into the world of police procedure and gives us a view of all of the people involved; from the victims, to the families, to the police and how they solve the mysteries. You will not be disappointed. From the way the story unfolds, to the characters, and the plot and timeline, it is a roller coaster ride of the emotional gamut. I love Alexa's writing style and the stories she writes.
How does a community already reeling from the murders committed by Jim Ryder survive the pain and suffering caused by the "Gamers" Evan and Devin? How are the families of their 7 victims going to get passed the loss of their loved ones? How will the mother and father of the 2 teenage boys known as the gamers ever recover and learn to live with the knowledge of what their children did to those girls? This one blew me away...It was gripping, and heartbreaking for parents Bradley and Tisha..after what happened with there two sons, the pain they brought to so many..A nightmare like no other was brought to there front door. Warnings start showing up...a signature of someone who wants retribution The signs start small, and begin to escalate. Tisha feels like a prisoner in her own home.

Wow, this book looks into your life after losing a child, spouse or anyone you were really close to after being murdered. The parents of the serial killer hurts as bad as the victims families.
Excellent story and it delved into the feelings of everyone. How if you can't forgive you pay more in pain and suffering than the victims. Forgiveness opens you up to healing. Will it ever be the same..Hello no. It becomes tolerable until you can make a life for yourself.
I really enjoyed this writer's take on murders and adds a little romance to give you time to breathe after the intense murders and mayhem.

I loved it!! I went into it thinking it was going to be more of a new relationship for Cameron, instead it was a wrap up from book 2. (We have to wait until later this year for Cameron's story.)
This was crime solving at its best.
It is about how the families of survivors of violent crime are left to cope with their grief.
I lost a friend to a violent crime a lot of years ago, so I can relate. It is something you can never forget.
This book is different from her other books, in that there is not a lot of love/sex, but a great read just the same. ;-)

Another amazing piece of work from Alexa Grace! This time she shows us what lengths a person will go to seek retribution of a loved one. Though there are numerous suspects, she gives us just enough to keep us guessing. Maybe you figured it out, but maybe your jaw will drop when you find out who is behind the chaos. Either way, this is a page turner you won't want to put down. Domt be surprised when you read the entire book in one sitting. This is why Alexa Grace continues to be my number one author!

The writing was excellent, and the story very interesting. I was hoping for more development on the relationships in the series. Based on the style of the first two books in ther series, it was confusing to develop two different relationships, each only part-way, in one book. It felt unfinished, but it did make me anxious for the rest of the series.

Love this story the build up of this store, each book has and ending that you could read as a stand alone but I love that it picks up with another character in the book - looking forward to hearing more of Bryan and Mollie and Cam and Robynn.

Not sure how to rate this book
It was a good story of redemption and forgiveness, but there was absolutely no romance or passion in it what so ever. I guess ide say I'm disappointed. And no one ever reacted or acted like a normal person would in a given situation. It all just sort of rubbed me the wrong way

Loved this addition to the Profile series! Intense, edgy, exciting! Looking from the loved ones POV after the destruction that 2 teens created. It's so easy to blame the parents for what their children do, but the only thing parents can do is raise their kids the best they can.
I always look forward to Alexa's books, the stories grab hold and don't let go until the end. I can't wait for Cam's book! Hurry Alexa, I'm having "Profile series" withdrawal!

Now this was a good read, totally different!!!
This being the third book in the series I was thrown for a loop, it was nothing like I expected and not predictable at all. I totally expected it to be like all the other second and third books in her series and it was not, I really enjoyed the difference and the ending was great to boot. I highly recommend this book and now I'm not skeptical about reading more of her books. She's proven she can change things up.

like how all the folks.are.meshed neatly.together. finished the book.in one day that is how good it was..It drew me in and I could not tear myself away from reading this splendor of a book

Wow. I have not read any other books in this series but I read this book in a day. I could not put it down. At times my heart would race and at other times I would be happy. This book was a wonderful book. I will need to go back and read the others in the series. What a great book and author.

I enjoy Alex's Grace books so much and this one did not disappoint! To think about the impact on the family of the killers isn't something I do very often. This was an interesting perspective.
