Rawr! Feisty and holy-shit-i-need-a-minute-that-was-hot meets vulnerability and miscommunication in this sweet and sexy serial set. For real though, I had to put down the book after that dressing room scene to uh, take care of a few things.

Lisa is love-phobic. She prefers her men interchangeable and her life uncomplicated. Except that ever since she met her best friend’s brother, Marc, she can’t picture anyone else mid-orgasm. However, Marc’s still in college, a huge player in his own right, and lives hundreds of miles away from her.

Justified is a purely enjoyable bout of lust filled passion and love soaked need. They both struggle to fit what they’ve found into their messy lives, opening insecurities along the way and pushing each other’s every button.

When two players collide and compete for dominance, sparks fly, tempers flare and wild sex is had. I loved every second of it. 4 stars!

This is super hot, hot, hot..Prepare yourself with a cold drink when reading this or you may not be able to handle the heat! I mean this was one raw, sensual and sexy read!!!

We met Lisa and Marc in Book one of the Second Chance Romance series 'Jaded'. Lisa is sultry, sexy and goes after what she wants and Marc is a college student who is a player in his own right. They've both been content with letting lust lead them in their sex lives...neither having a need for more. After all "lust was beautiful and powerful, sustaining every need until you met the one"...Have they finally met their match in each other?

After an instantaneous connection when they first meet, they both go their separate ways. Marc back to school in New York and Lisa starting over in a small Maine town. However, the connection they had with each other plays havoc on their minds and dare I say hearts? They both seem to have lost their satisfaction with lust only entanglements. A collection with promise. Good plots with interesting characters but could use editing. After college,Three friends move from NYC to Maine to start new lives and find love along the way. This steamy collection is full of emotional scenes between friends, lovers, and siblings. Contains some angst but is balanced by humor.
Warning: 18+ Explicit sexual content and mild language that might offend.

Vivid descriptions,A lot of explicit and unfiltered conversations, the close and often times emotional relationships between Kari and her friends as well as Kari and her brother make this story both heartwarming and humorous. Disillusioned after catching her fiance in a compromising position on the eve before their wedding, introverted NY photographer Kari moves with her two best friends to the small retirement community of Bar Harbor Maine where Kari gets a job with the local small town newspaper and is forced into being a jack of all trades. Chance meetings with confirmed bachelor, volunteer fireman and basketball coach, Texas explant Jake results in strong attraction. But just as they become a couple, an ex calls.

Justified is the second book in the Second Chance Romance Lisa and Marc met in the first book of this series but didn’t start a relationship despite both being interested in each other. Justified is their story. It was okay. I didn’t like Lisa very much and some of both of their behaviors were immature and, at times, hurtful. When Lisa and Marc were together it was explosive and toasty. I like the friends group that Lisa has. The characters witty, sometimes snarky but always there for each other.

Lisa and Marc’s story, I felt a little more for. It was a little more heart wrenching. Both of them dealing with the actions of their parents and trying hard not to repeat them. Both of them using sex to avoid getting their hearts broken. The ultimate question during the book was, will they be able to put that aside to take a chance on each other? It was interesting to see how that unfolded and what their friends did to provide support.

I have to say this was a great book!!! I mean Mrs. Parker is a very diverse author!! She really gets into the character’s head and writes the book as she see fit. The first book of the series was very mild compare to this book!! I like that Mrs. Parker writes a book that is coming from what she thinks the character would act.

Inside of Lisa’s head is nothing but lust and sex!! And how can she get more of it. I like that she is dirty in her language and that she acts just like she think!! I hate when an author has the character say something and act differently. Mrs. Parker put her words to action in this character. She was will put together with the feeling of how to determine what is the difference between lust and love is. I like that Lisa was a red head and that she owned her body. She knew what she wanted and she went out and got it.

Marc was the typical college boy; well I am pretty sure he became a man somewhere in the book! He was hot and I like that we get to see what he really thought of Lisa. He is all for teaching Lisa the difference between lust and love. I like that your man can live out their fantasy as well as the woman’s as well. Marc is the type of man most of us are looking for and want to strap to our bed.

I love how the book started right in the middle of where it left off with Jaded. I like that we still get to see what is going on with Kari and Jake as well as with Drake and Sicily. Some of the back and forth battering was cute and I like how Kari still gave advice even though she was in the middle.
All in all the entire book was good. A quick read that made you want to have ice cold pitcher of water very close by!!! Okay now to the last one!!!

She has a strict policy in place when it comes to men use them and lose them, because she is afraid of falling to hard only to get hurt later on down the line. Marc is a college Student, his education paid for by scholarships and all the girls wants to play with him. He doesn't have a care in the world.

The attraction was instant but they never had sex just flirted and had fun, they decided it would be too difficult to pursue a relationship long distant and way too weird because Kari is his his sister and her BFF. But, every moment of Lisa's day she can't keep herself from thinking about Marc.She finally comes clean to Kari and Sicily and they convince her to go back to New York and seek him out. Little does she know Marc is suffering just like her. Throughout their journey they come to learn more about each other, both fighting against falling in love. Will they get together?

Both have loose morals and believed that lust should prevail over love. The ending will surprise you!

This is a great book full of lust, angst, and romance. It's very entertaining, I highly recommend.
Justified Complete Series

This book had a wonderful relationship of Marc, the younger college student, and Lisa, a few years older than Marc and his sister, Kari, is her best friend. They both have/had parents that weren't the greatest role models when it came to relationships and because of that they are having a hard time with their new found love for each other. They were both "justified" in their concerns and so happy that they overcame the obstacles to give their love a try. For a few chapters there, I was beginning to wonder how this would play out and if I only have one regret, that is that this story wasn't longer with a wedding down the road! Check this book out!

Lisa is living in Maine with her two best friends while in love with her best friend's brother who is in New York. She uses the excuse of her mother's birthday to make a trip to New York to see Marc. She wants to know if he feels the same as she does. The only problem is that the more she finds out about his feelings the more scared and angry she gets. He decides to teach her a lesson between love and lust. The lesson works and makes her angry enough that she leaves New York toreturn to Maine. This leaves them both miserable. Both refusing to make the first move. That is until Marc's mom forced him to call his sister Kari who talks sense into him. Lisa is trying to move past Marc and goes on a date with Michael, the older rich man. The while time on her date she can only wish she were with Marc. When Michael drops her of at home she walks in the house thinking she is alone. When Marc's voice scares her to death. They decide to give love a try spending the weekend away together. When they return Lisa had to make up some work while Marc takes a nap. Marc goes to Sicily's bakery to hang out with their friends to find that Lisa is working late. He decides to take his girl something to eat. When he arrives he finds the shock of his life as Lisa is in the arms of Michael with their lips touching in a kiss. He is crushed and says harsh things to Lisa before leaving. Lisa is broken, she didn't return the surprise kiss, she pushed Michael away but Marc wouldn't listen. For the next week it is hard for either of them to function as they are both heart broken. Marc tries to move on with a one night stand but can't even do it because even though they aren't together it still feels like cheating. Lisa'a best friends Kari and Sicily force her to go to New York to get her man back. She takes a red eye flight and Marc and Kari's mom picks her up. The next morning Marc is surprised in his mother's kitchen when he hears Lisa's voice behind him. Lisa finally gets Marx to listen as she apologizes for what he thinks he saw. Marc apologizes for the way he acted. They go on a motorcycle ride for the weekend where they make up. He tells her his fears he had about falling in love and add she starts to tell him hers they decide that they can wait. They will spend the next year that he is in New York and her in Maine working through each of their fears together. They have the rest of their lives together to get over the fears. Loved this book. Love this series. Can't wait for more.
