The dead are everywhere and many more will die...

The elves and dwarves have been beaten down by the empire of men and now make a last flight to the safety of a hidden city in the far north.

Berie is a young elf, fearful of those that hunt them, but also deadly with her bow. This is her first true test in a turbulent and darkening life. She must stay strong if she is to survive.

This dangerous journey to a protected refuge is their last hope in a world where all wish them dead. But the greatest danger is not from men but from within their own ranks.

This is a story set within the Saints of Wura world. All books in the Saints of Wura trilogy are available.

This is the account of the escape of the young dwarf Slatnichor and the elf Berie, from the ambush of the fleeing elves.
This, in theory, comes after "the half-elf chronicles" and before "Winemaker of the North".

Awesome short story! If I needed something to drag me into the Saints of Wura tales, this has certainly done the job! I look forward to reading more of them.

I have been finding more and more books lately describing the wars between mankind and the fae realm. This story depicting the tension and battles betwixt humans and the dwarves and elves has been my recent favorite.

*I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed "Arrowfall"! I didn't want it to end! I haven't read any of the other Saints of Wura Tales yet, but I'm going to as soon as I can! The characters really drew me in and I was just getting to know them. I want to find out more about the elves, dwarfs, their gods & the world of man and the war that is raging!!
I love finding new authors! I can't wait to read the rest of J.T. Williams books!

Interesting short story in this series. Interesting characters and settings. Some definite tension and exciting action.

However, it is a little difficult to read and enjoy because of writing issues. A little assistance from an editor would probably take this to a whole new level of entertainment.

I loved reading this short story.....I definitely want to read the rest of the series to see how it all turns out. I'm hoping itall turns out well and that there is a happy ending to it all. I know there will be some sad points throughout the series but that is to be expected especially the way the story started.

I would strongly suggest this series to anyone that loves these kinds of books.

The short story was very enjoyable. Story moved along at a good pace with interesting characters and a great adventure. My only complaint is that, it was just a tease since it ended so quickly. I enjoyed it so much I'm going to read the trilogy.

A bite sized transition piece between the two series! Loved learning a little history about two of the main characters in the Saints of Wura trilogy!
