The Pure Inconstancy of Grace: Poems

Rate this book
Master craftsman Richard St. John eloquently illuminates the human condition in surprising and profound ways in this collection of poems. He finds genuine grace in the midst of suffering and despair as well as in mundane moments of daily life. These are powerful poems with clear-eyed empathy and uncanny insight.

Like a monk he walks among us, observant.
A tremendous collection of complete poems. Richard St. John perceives what we often miss and writes what we don't often enough think about, delivering a worldview of grace and spirit in nature, observation, relationships, and everyday experience. Reading for the third time, I may have more to add.
