This brings back my childhood! I loved reading this when I was younger and watching the movie. I still love both today and I’m in my 20s! Great fun read, easy and funny too!

This story is a realistic-fiction ADVENTURE!!!!!

Miley has lately been all "Hannah Montanna" like. She's forgetting what realy matters in life & just wants to glammer up. When she is choosen to go to New York to go down the Red Carpet, her dad swaps the flight to Tennesse for grandma's birthday. (Miley did not know that her dad would do this). Miley will now be stuck there for 2 full weeks being bored stiff all day, when all of a sudden fate brings Miley back with an old pal (a boy) in love with each other. Starting from the bottom of country-folks to the top with modern hip-hop.

will Miley learn her life long lesson for good????

Repeated review.

I enjoyed the film more (not much more), probably because of nostalgia, but this was nice, fun. It’s obviously for kiddos, but I wanted to check it out anyway. It is simple, well-written, perfect for a junior novel. Would I read it again? Not for myself. Maybe if I have kids, I’ll read it to them, so they know what I grew up with.
