This book had a promising premise. Bad boy race car driver hero got caught with his pants down. Literally. And the PR expert heroine was brought in to help fix his image. Sparks fly and we get some sexy times and we get emotionally invested in their journey to HEA.

Mmmyeah. It didn't exactly turn out that way. And it's all thanks to our heroine, Vivian Blake.

She wasn't the warmest heroine. She was kinda bitchy and judgmental but hey, I was okay with it for the most the part. But then she had to add stupid to the list and I just couldn't take it.

I'm going to spoiler tag this one. It doesn't really affect the plot but it's one of the scenes from the book which I had major, major problems with.

Anyhoo.

Sorry to say but what happened there soured the whole book for me. Not even the vibrant way the author wrote the racing circuit could rescue this book for me.

I mean, come on. She could have done something else to prove her worth but she had to resort to the oldest trick in the book…getting nekkid.

It's a shame really since some parts of this book was hot. I liked Jarod but I couldn't understand why he fell for Vivian to be honest. It was insta-lust for both of them and I didn't feel that tension, that push and pull between them considering there are ethical issues they have to deal with. Their attraction didn't feel organic for me. It felt contrived.

Then there's Jarod's drama with the other drivers about who's trying to destroy who, the petty jealousies, the behind-the-scene machinations, the WAGs. Gawd, even his ex made an appearance. It just didn't coalesce well.

Sometimes a plot can be too unbelievable and ridiculous even for me. Sadly, this was just one of those times.
No. I'm sorry, but this book lost me right after this and I lost any and all respect for the heroine. As a professional woman in corporate world myself, this actually made me cringe. Cringe! And there was lots of judging. So much judging!

The writing was great and I would absolutely read future books from this author and this series since I do like the set up and I liked the secondary character (Viv's best friend) and curious to read about her. Sadly the heroine here didn't do it for me and killed the rest of the story. So I had to cut my loses and stop when I did.

Here’s to another Brazen fail this month… This one obviously worst than my last try because my rating decision was a rather abrupt and rash one : DNF.
I read steadily but rather slowly up until 65% then skimmed through the end.

I picked "Caught" by Clare James because of the blurb and the fact that I was in a book funk after a fantastic read. I thought I nice quick read would help me get out of it, and what’s best than a hot and light Brazen to set my reading mojo right? Right?

The synopsis promised an entertaining and hot read, the hero, Jarod Cage, a notorious NASCAR driver has been caught pants down by a security camera.
Heroine Vivian Blake, a talented PR, is hired to get Jarod’s back on track and re-assess his public image. He has no choice but to accept or lose his sponsors and damage his career.

It should have been a nice and safe drive for me and despite a rather hot start with the description of the sextape, the race ended to an abrupt stop after one to many absurd behavior from the heroine.
She was a complete nonsense. She proved herself to be a walking contradiction and I could not bear to read one more foolish minute of her.

Jarod’s character was hot, but didn’t hold my attention. He was running after an judgmental and annoying woman, I really didn’t understand the attraction between them. It felt… forced. On top of that the author tried to insufflate some bad boy vibe to him, but his persona and behavior never matched…

In conclusion, Caught had some potential but I never could connect with the heroine or the hero.
Don’t let my picky self stop you from trying it, I was obviously in a reading funk and Caught wasn’t up to my expectations.

Summary (from Goodreads):

She was hired to clean up his image. He wants nothing more than to get her dirty.

Watching sex tapes at the office is just part of PR professional Vivian Blake's job, especially when she has to clean up a celebrity's image. Except that her newest client isn't quite that easy. But when you go this hard and fast, putting on the brakes is the most dangerous thing you can do...

What I Liked:

This book was hot hot hot! I wasn't sure if I wanted to read it, because, like Viv, I'm not really into car racing. I'm still not entirely convinced that it's a sport (to me), but I've definitely been educated a little on this, uh, sport. We'll call it a sport because that's what the world declares it (but you all know my slight skepticism. Sorry to fans/drivers!). In any case, I really, really liked the backdrop of car racing, with a scandal and a hot romance.

Vivian's new client needs his image to be cleaned up a little - Jarod Cage was taped having sex in a bathroom. His sponsors are prepared to pull his funding if he doesn't clean up his act. Upon their first meeting, Viv and Blake are anything but professional. They can't seem to keep their hands off each other, which could prove to be dangerous for both of them - and their careers.

This story was very fun to read! I don't think I've read a story featuring a race-car driver/car racing. So I learned a lot about of car racing and the "sport" of it. I guarantee you, I'd probably throw up everywhere if I went in a car with a driver during a race. Anyway, I was happy for the unique backdrop of this story. The story revolves around racing - Jarod's racing life, personal life, what he has to do to impress his sponsors (and racing fans).

This book is extremely hot. Jarod is one of those alpha, sex-on-two-legs type, and Viv is prim and proper but doesn't shy away from having a plan as to what she wants and what she thinks is best. The chemistry between these two is fiery, and there are plenty of sizzling scenes. The chemistry is constant and unpredictable throughout the book - a great thing!

This book is also very emotionally charged. There is a lot of insecurity in this book, as well as doubt, and just plain emotion. Lots of chemistry, emotions, drama. Well, not too much drama. Some drama, towards the end. It makes sense though - Jarod and Viv are an explosive pair.

Anyway! I liked this book. I liked Jarod and Viv, and I liked their pairing. The relationship starts very lusty (as most relationships in romance novels do), and continues to be lusty and sexually charged, but takes on a sweeter edge. Love!

What I Did Not Like:

There is this one scene in the book that totally bothers me - pretty much because I could never, ever see myself doing that in front of a pretty much perfect stranger, day one of having a new client. It was super bold! Bold doesn't even cover it - perhaps foolish. I can't say anything specific, but this scene was very eyebrow-raising to me! But in the end, I see the purpose of the scene, and it definitely adds to the chemistry and the story too, but woah.

Would I Recommend It:

I really enjoyed this book! I would definitely recommend it - it's likely in my top ten (at least top fifteen) favorite Brazen novels. I've read a lot of Brazen novels and I've never ranked them or anything, but this one is a memorable one that I can see myself rereading. I recommend it!

Rating:

4 stars. I liked this one a lot! I hope there are companion novels to follow! I know I haven't said much specifically about the story, but there are certain secondary characters in this book that should totally be featured in their own story!

I'm a fan of motor racing, so when I read the blurb for Caught and saw it contained a bad-boy racing driver, I was happy at the premise. Unfortunately I slammed the brakes on at 50%.

"I know my voice can make your nipples tighter than the lug nuts on those tires over there."

Our heroine, Vivian (aka Viv, Vivi or Vi depending on what chapter it is), is hired to fix the public-image of said bad-boy, Jarod Cage who's in the midst of a sex-tape scandal. And what does she do when they first meet? Proves why she's the perfect person for the job . Perhaps me being a professional woman in a male-dominated industry who still has to prove her worth to certain individuals, it hit a nerve; her actions were a complete contradiction of the professional woman she was claiming to be and annoyed the hell out of me.

On the whole though I just found it packed out with content that made it slow going and simply too long; in the vast sea of sexy romance books, this had the potential but missed the mark. I'm all for strong, independent female leads, but not unlikeable ones who pull shameless stunts like Vivian aka Viv, Vivi, Vi and I'm sorry I can't give a more positive review on this occasion.

Caught by Clare James had a blurb that instantly caught my attention and I had high expectations for this promising book about a bad boy NASCAR and a PR, who was assigned to help save his public image after a sex tape leak. Well this book was just alright. It wasn't bad but wasn't great since I did not like the heroine at all. Needless to say, the heroine I found annoying and not likable especially how she made her introduction to the hero, Jared. As for Jared, I actually liked his character and the storyline but like I said earlier the heroine, Vivian fell flat. I also think the insta-lust romance didn't work for this book since I would have preferred for it be organic and natural. While there are parts in this book that was hot and steamy, I would just have to say this book was just okay for me.

It's going to be short because I'm way behind everything I need to do today.

This book sounds promising. I'm always on board when it comes to PR that falls for the guy they have to help with their image. And what's even better when that guy turns out to be a raceracer.

This books screamed hot just by his blurb.

Unfortunately, that didn't get much further. And what didn't worked for me, in one word the heroine...
she was a mass of contradiction and very judgmental and I roll my eyes more than once.
And what pissed me of the most was what she had to do to get his attention...
Seriously this is being ridiculous and against some of my values.
Better to stop there. This one was not for me :/

At least I tried ...

2.5 Spin me right round, baby stars

Vivian Blake was mesmerised by the tape she was watching of her new client. It wasn't your usual display of celebrity shenanigans, but a grandstand view of carnal cavorting. As a streetwise spin doctor, it was going to be a mean feat to get Mr. Bathroom Stall Sex Guy out of this predicament. His current racing placing, not to mention his lucrative sponsorships, were under severe threat due to his inability to control himself.

Jarod Cage was in a quandary, due to his momentary misjudgement, and was abhorred to discover that a live-in publicist had been assigned. Not just any publicist, but someone that had zero understanding of his sport, and a bigoted view of himself, prior to meeting him.

Was there more to Jarod than meets the eye, or had Vi, Viv, Vivi, Vivian been blindsided by the cocksure racing sensation?

I was keen to start this story, given the premise, and having enjoyed Clare James previously. What I was presented with was a confused lady that thought it was a great idea to expose herself on their initial meeting, commencing steam at warp factor 10, and assuming we would hang on for the ride.

I actually quite liked Jarod, and the unravelling of his life, and subsequent choices, but I couldn't take Vi, Viv, Vivi, Vivian seriously. She was conflicted, inconsistent and damn right annoying.

I guess a character connection is quite paramount to enjoying the story, and whilst I was basking in the UK sunshine, Vi, Viv, Vivi, Vivian was climbing Mont Blanc.

Caught is the story of PR professional, Viv, and NASCAR driver, Jarod Cage. Jarod is literally caught with his pants down in a bathroom stall and Viv is hired to fix his image.

Jarod and Viv are complete opposites. Viv is a Northern Yank who is feisty and tells it how it is, something Jarod is not used to. But the attraction between them is undeniable.

“One time thing, Viv. That’s all it was. All it could be. But damn if he wasn’t like a bag of potato chips – the delicious sea salt and vinegar kind where just one wouldn’t do.”

The two enter a sexual relationship and it is HOT!

“Baby,” he whispered in her ear. “You’re so hot and wet right now I don’t think you’d care if I stripped you out of this suit, bent you over, and bared your tight ass to the crew before I fucked you from behind.”

Of course, spending constant time together and also having sex leads to so much more, including an intimacy neither was used to. So will their relationship turn to more or will it end once Viv’s work is done? Read it and find out!

I really enjoyed this story. It has some twists that I didn’t expect and I loved Jarod. Watching a bad boy fall in love is one of my faves! ~ Tiffany, 4 stars

Caught follows the story of Jarod and Vivian. Vivian works hard at her job as a PR professional. She’s at the top of her game and takes her job very seriously. Her newest client may prove to be her biggest challenge yet. Jarod loves his life and loves racing. He’s never been one to care about what people think of him, until one incident nearly costs Jarod everything. That’s where Vivian comes into play. He hopes that she will be able to turn his career around. Then he meets Vivian and it’s like all bets are off. Jarod is supposed to fix his career and leave his bad boy reputation behind. But, there’s something about Vivian that just draws him in and will test his control….

Caught was a sexy, quick read for me. From the moment I read the first page, I couldn’t wait to read more. I loved the chemistry between Jarod and Vivian. They had an instant connection. I liked how Jarod made Vivian step out her comfort zone and start really living. Vivian was a great challenge for Jarod. She didn’t make things easy for him. She challenged and fought him. I loved the push and pull between the two of them. I liked watching them try to maneuver their personal and professional relationship. I couldn’t get enough of the two them together.

Overall, I thought this was an enjoyable read. I loved the steam, the angst, the drama, and of course the romance. There were a few good twists thrown in along the way and it was fun trying to figure those out. This book was very entertaining and I’m glad I checked it out.

Caught is an interesting story of a PR rep and a race-car driver. I like that it’s about something other than MC club, rock-star or some sort of fighter.

Viv is very strong-willed, focused and determined woman. She’s been working her up the ladder and this is her chance to shine. As long she doesn’t blow and have her new client lose his job.

Jarod finally has the opportunity to win big for the first time in his racing career. And he could ruin it all if he doesn’t get his crap together.

You can sense the sparks between these two the minute they are in the same room. And once you light the match, there’s no way to stop the fire that is sure to follow quickly afterwards. But can these two keep things strictly business and not risk either of their careers??

Clare does a good job of building up the tension between these and the temptations they both try to resist. I really enjoyed the details about the racing world and everything that entails. It really made the story become more real as you were reading. The banter between Viv and Jarod was entertaining and came across very natural. While some people may feel that there are parts that seem too “unnatural” or goes against the moral of the character, I thought it showed another side of the character and that there is a lapse in judgment due to unknown feelings taking over. I think it made the book more delightful.

I enjoyed this quick read. I found myself wanting to know how this relationship was going to pan out and how everything would unfold. I liked that is held my attention and kept things light and funny.

Review: Well, here's a warning to you all: there's a scene early on in the book will have every modern woman cringe and I am fairly certain that the moment that single-handedly erases the decades and decades of blood, sweat and tears that women everywhere have put into getting themselves taken seriously in a male dominated environment.

If you can get past that moment then the rest of the book plods along pretty much as expected.

I was really excited for Caught after reading the blurb – it’s not often that I read about racecar drivers, so I had high hopes for this book. Unfortunately, the story sometimes came across as a bit flat. It wasn’t a bad read, but it wasn’t very good either. I didn’t connect well with the characters, so Caught was just an okay read for me.

Vivian Blake works in PR, and her latest client is famous racecar driver Jarod Cage. After his latest scandal with a sex tape gone viral, her job is to clean up his act and make his public image presentable so that he’ll be able to continue his racing career. But while she’s good at her job, she’s not so good at resisting Jarod’s tempting ways.

Jarod Cage is sexy, Southern, and a total ladies man. But for some reason, he’s incredibly drawn to his publicist, a woman who’s the complete opposite of him. As his publicist, Viv is in close proximity to Jarod many hours of the day, which causes the attraction between them to only grow. It’s not long before Jarod and Viv fall into bed, and they are explosive together.

I really liked how the chemistry was portrayed, and I definitely liked seeing Jarod the bad boy fall for a woman who’s nothing like him. Sadly, both their characters felt flat to me – I couldn’t connect with them and I wasn’t a fan of how the romance played out. This doesn’t mean I didn’t like Jarod or Viv – I mainly just wasn’t invested in their story very much. But the chemistry and racing aspect of the story was a definite plus in the book, so overall, Caught was okay – a good, but not great, read.

Caught is the first book in the Elite PR series by Clare James for Entangled Publishing’s Brazen imprint. In the book, the hero, NASCAR bad boy Jarod Cage, is in danger of losing both his sponsors and his racing career and the heroine, PR professional Vivian Blake has been hired to help him clean up his image, though she can’t seem to get the sex tape she watched of Jarod out of her head.

This book was obviously well-researched, with a storyline that could’ve easily been ripped from the headlines. I loved that touch of realism in this book, because it added so much depth to characters, and to the overall story. It’s very much a right now kind of book, and the hero is so charismatic and intense that it’s easy to see him caught up in a scandal of this magnitude. He’s a good guy, who made a poor choice, and now he’s paying the price for that choice, though he does get an unexpected boon by hiring PR rep Vivian.

I think these characters were an excellent match for each other, with a plot that truly fit who they are as story people, and I loved reading them together because they didn’t feel like characters I’ve read about a hundred times before. That’s refreshing, especially in a sexy, fantasy read like this one.

If you love racecars, a bad boy who gets caught in a scandal, and an unpredictable heroine who is willing to go the distance for her job, Clare James’ Caught is a sexy-hot book with enough true-to-life realism and fantasy-based sexual situations to make it stand out from the crowd. I loved it!

Jarod, a womanizing NASCAR driver and often the fodder for tabloids, is caught with his pants down (literally) again. The family-values centric organization looks down their nose at that type of behavior, especially when it seems to be a pattern of behavior. In order to get back into the good graces of both NASCAR and its fans, Jarod’s team employs the help of a PR agency and Vivian is assigned to his case.

Vivian is forced to stay with Jarod, shadowing him like a babysitter. It is through their time together that there is an undeniable attraction between the two and they are both left to question each other’s motives. The story is a bit predictable in the bad boy/good girl cat and mouse that follows. Jarod has his secrets and Vivian has her issues, it’s just a matter of them both working through them in order to find their happily ever after.

It wasn’t that the book was bad; I just had a tough time relating to any of the characters. I am into sports romances, but racing, NASCAR in particular is really not my thing. So while the storyline was fun, flirty, and fast paced, I just couldn’t get into it and the predictability of the events made it even more difficult. There are some qualities of both Jarod and Vivian’s personalities that might be quite off-putting to some, namely Jarod’s misogyny and Vivian’s willingness to bend to his sexist tendencies. I like a good alpha male, but there’s a fine line between alpha and asshole, and Jarod straddles that line throughout. Fans of contemporary romance and NASCAR will eat this one up, it just wasn’t for me.

Upon finishing, my initial reaction:

LOVED. I was so sad when it was over, I want to read more!

Full review to come.

My Thoughts (full review):

Loved this! I jumped into it and found a really intriguing story--one with a story line following a NASCAR driver and the PR girl who's trying to straighten out his image. I thoroughly enjoyed the racing aspect. It was unique and added to my interest in the book.

Vivian and Jarod don't get off to the greatest start. She's bad-mouthing him on the phone, making him unsure whether he can trust her to help him. After a little bit of sexual tension and some getting-to-know-you, they fall into some sensual moments together. Unfortunately, Vivian's attitude about the sport that is his life creates some more friction between them. As time goes by, Jarod teaches her about his love of racing and she begins to understand. Their chemistry never stops and eventually things are heating up again, and it seems that it might include more than just physical attraction.

Caught was an absolutely sexy and compelling book! I loved the dynamic between Vivian and Jarod and how it developed over the weeks they spent together. The romance was hot AND sweet and I couldn't get enough. The best part was that while the book was insanely sexy, there was a lot of heart. So much love for this book! Can't wait to read more by Clare James!

Wow- this book is a seriously wild ride! (Pardon the mild NASCAR pun- I simply couldn't help myself). But seriously, though, this book is a whole hell of a lot of fun. I'm a sucker for sports romance, and I've never read a NASCAR one before, but the vibrant way that Clare James writes about the track and the racing itself had me hooked form the start. If her descriptions are anything close to reality- the sport is exhilarating and the speed is a turn on.

I loved Viv as the heroine in this novel. She's just a little bit too smart for her own good and slips up right away as she mildly insults the sport of racing right in front of the man of the hour, but she redeems herself right away with a brazen attempt at making him feel more comfortable about hiring her. I loved her self assurance and sass and the way she's the perfect match for cocky and self-assured Jarod. Let's just say that I totally underestimated the benefits of having a closet in your office. Holy heck- that scene is sexy as hell.

And oh, Jarod. He is everything you could possibly ask for in an alpha male hero, and I totally dig the bad boy vibe he gives off throughout the novel. The fact that it is balanced by this sweet, caring side only made him more desirable, and I dare readers to not fall in love with him.

This novel is a wonderful addition to Entangled's awesome Brazen line. It is chock full of sexy moments and heart-racing action. It reads quick and absolutely races towards the finish. (Okay, okay- I'm done).

I received an ARC copy from the publisher in exchange for my honest review.

Racecar driver Jarod Cage & PR professional Vivian Blake give this story all the heat needed to make this a great story.
Vivian is called in to protect aka clean up Jarod’s image when it could affect his NASCAR career and when it calls for watching his sex tapes –wow— that is what you called dedication to the job {wink} Vivian is someone who is somewhat stuck up at first but that is because she is in a male driven career and also she is attracted to Jarod. The chemistry between them is full of heat but Vivian fought against it- she was afraid she would lose her position in her company and she thought she was just another faceless woman for Jarod.
Jarod knows his personal affairs haven’t been really discreet but he really never thought he would lose his sponsors AND his NASCAR career. Now he has to trust this PR wiz; the thing is, he is falling for her BIG time. The chemistry he feels for her is the real thing and he wants Lead lap for everything that is going but he knows that he has to just sit back and be her backup car. For Jarod, who is the ultimate ALPHA male, sitting back is NOT his style. There are fireworks over that. Having to trust a woman to fix and repair his reputation is something he is not liking—but he loves her figure and he loves her brains and the fiery sparks coming off them was fantastic. There are so many twists and turns all the way til the very end. The secondary characters are terrific & I hope to see Mel's book next .

Bring on the ice, Caught is a scorcher. It started with a bang and kept getting better. A misunderstood bad boy and a straight laced workaholic could end up being each others saving grace. Viv is tasked with cleaning up Jarod's image after a particularly embarrassing fiasco. What ensues gives new meaning to the words spin doctor. Clare James wrote a steamy, awkwardly amusing look at unexpected love. Received an ARC of Caught for an honest review.(www.goodreads.com/review/list/2555691...)

Caught was simply one of the best books I have read in a while. It has risque and naughty Jarod who needs to be good and prim and proper Vivian who wants to be bad. Put them together and wow the explosion!! Seriously hot and descriptive scenes. Great details on the racing community, ones I had never thought of that totally changed my own personal preconceived views on racing. The character development was excellent and the building on each relationship made the book what it was. I loved the twist. Having a little suspense makes any book better.

Jarod is caught in a very private moment and is having to get some help from Vivian to fix his image. The two spark off each other more than fireworks. Lusts are abundant and fighting it only makes it worse. Vivian thinks NASCAR is a redneck sport run by illiterate rednecks. Unfortunately for her he overhears her thoughts. Now she has to make it right and he asks for the unthinkable and yet, she wants him. He shocks the hell out of her and continues to do so at every turn. The book will surprise you as well. It was just a great sexy fun read with a bit of a suspense. I highly recommend it for sports romance lovers and romance lovers alike. A hot spicy read is just what every one needs this summer!

I received an ARC of this book from Sizzling PR in exchange for an honest review and as part of the book's blog tour promotions.

Hot. Sexy. Delicious. Man, I can just describe this book in three words. From the very first moment that the main characters met until the last pages of the book, they definitely had a chemistry that sizzled. I'm not usually a fan of insta-love, or insta-lust for that matter; however, both the hero and the heroine were just a very good match.

I liked the pacing of this book. The author gives us a good part of the book knowing about racing and public relations. I also liked that she gave each character enough background for readers to relate to them or even feel that they are real people. There were just instances where I find myself questioning if the relationshpi between the hero and the heroine would last. I mean, I felt like there just wasn't enough in the story that strengthened their relationship. They made for an amazing affair, but I do hope that a relationship like theirs can make it in real life.

Anyway, I don't know why I'm complaining about such minor things. All in all, I very much enjoyed this sexy little work of fiction. This book is perfect for when you're home and trying to get your romance fix before you call it a night.

Holy hotness! This book is 5 alarm sexy and if you didn't like Nascar before, your opinion may change after reading about this hot driver. Hot just doesn't do Jarod Cage justice; I would need a thesaurus to find the right word. He is sexy, sweet, Southern, and excellent at what he does. He handles cars and women with ease, confidence, and walks away from both satisfied. He gets caught in a sticky situation that could cost him his career and his sponsors have a PR team step in to help him try and save himself from himself. But then he meets his PR person and he wonders just what he got himself into. Vivian is an all business, eye on the prize, Yankee who doesn't know or understand the first thing about racing, but needs to succeed with this assignment in order to have her dream come true. When Jarod and Vivian meet it give North meets South a whole new spin! There is instant chemistry and this chemistry experiment results in complete combustion. Loved seeing both sides of Jarod and how both of them seem to mature and come to terms with themselves. This was one of those books you read and do not want to put down until you finish it. LOVED IT!

Ink Angels Book Blog received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

James heats up the track with her racing romance between the hot and rugged Jarod Cage and his seductive Yankee PR prize, Vivian Blake. I can appreciate that many readers are not going to fall for the female protagonist right away. I mean, she really makes a faux pas with her new client and sets herself up for criticism, but this is a fantasy novel after all and anything can happen.

I enjoyed the banter between the two leading characters and bought the whole opposites attract scenario. Vi is not in a career where her opinions do not matter. Quite the opposite actually. And Jarod cannot resist a challenge. Vi is the one challenge he needs to put his life back on track (pun intended).

I would definitely recommend Caught to any reader who enjoys the thrill of the chase (both figuratively and literally for my NASCAR fans), drama, lust and HEA. This Ink Angel got CAGED and hopes James is planning to write Mel's story next.

Vivian and Jarod are a interesting match. First they work with one another. Well Vivian works for Jarod trying to fix his mess of a reputation caused by a bathroom stall sex tape he is staring in. Second they are both immediately attracted to each other. Vivian has a goal of fixing Jarod's reputation so she can get a recommendation for her dream job in New York. She doesn't plan to fall for the hot race car driver but fall she does. This book was a solid 5 stars for me. I'm a big fan of Brazen Entangled book and this one definitely lives up to expectations.

3 stars

When I read the summary for Caught I was really looking forward to reading, unfortunately I didn't connect with Vivian. This upsets me as I'm a huge fan of motor racing =(

The story had potential and the sexy times were hot, just wished I connected with Vivian's character because Jarod was smoking =)

Please don't let my disconnect stop you from reading Caught.

Thank you to Entangled Brazen via Netgalley for the advance copy in exchange for my honest thoughts.

This book is a great read. Viv, a tough Yankee girl, is a public relations expert and she has to save the career of Nascar driver, Jarod Cage, a Southern Boy. Jarod is sex on a stick smoking hot and Viv needs to resist him. Someone is out to destroy his chances for the Chase and Viv has to get him to the there so she can her promotion to New York. This book has hot sex, tension, and a traitor. Awesome!!! I can't wait to read Mel's story.

I enjoyed this one a lot! It was a fun, very sexy read. Having the world of car racing as the backdrop was new and fresh for me so it definitely made it more interesting. The writing, pace, and overall story were great. The lead characters Viv and Jarod have sizzling hot chemistry that really cranked up the heat level. This is one I would definitely recommend.

Vivian Blake has been hired to clean up the image of sexy racecar driver Jarod Cage, which wouldn’t be so difficult if she wasn’t so attracted to him. I love the interaction between Vivian and Jarod so much fun and very sexy. The story has plenty of suspense and drama to keep you turning those pages and the romance/sex is nice and steamy. An all-around great read!
