Love this book! It has great flower woodcut illustrations and a backwards and forwards index of lover meanings - so you can read by flower to find the meaning, or read by meaning to find the flower.
I will refer back, and use this in my next tattoo planning.

I purchased the 1977 edition primarily for the lovely botanical illustrations, taken from woodcuts from herbal guides from the 1500's and 1600's. Useful as an herbal reference book and includes references from literature and poetry for each plant.
