John J. Miller is mostly known for his work in George R.R. Martin's Wildcards universe, but he also wrote this good Witchblade novel a couple of decades back. I'm not sure if it's based on the Top Cow comic or the tv show that sprang from it, but I don't suppose that matters at all. The cover features a photograph of Yancy Butler as Sara Pezzini. Sara and her partner, Jake, investigate The Machete Murders, and become embroiled with assassins, ghosts, voodoo, and a punk/Goth band, The Mountains of Madness. It's a wild and entertaining story.
