An Outlaw. An Assassin. A passion hot enough to consume them both.

Sly - Outlaws. That’s all the Great Wolves M.C. were ever supposed to be. But that’s the thinking of a lost generation and I’ve finally brought my club out of the darkness. We’re headed for a brighter future and it only cost me my soul. A small price to pay until I met Scarlett. She came out of nowhere to stir my body and blood. Her dark yearnings equal mine. I can’t get enough. I know she’s hiding something from me and before I’m through, I mean to make her bare everything to me...her body, her heart and her secrets. Because she doesn’t realize she’s met her match.

Scarlett - I want Sly Cullinan in every way that’s wrong for me. Getting close to him was just supposed to be part of the job. I know he’s a killer. Because you see, I’m a killer too. For his past sins, it seems everyone wants him dead. But when he touches me, my body craves more. When he whispers my name in the dark, I can’t breathe. I could say I’ve lost my soul in him but I lost that long ago. I should walk away except this time I may already be too far gone.
**This is a standalone, full length romance novel involving the men of the Great Wolves M.C. Each book is interconnected and part of a series, but they can be read in any order and DO NOT contain cliffhangers. They DO contain dark themes and elements**

"Wherever you are, baby. I hope you find the light too."

I love the concept of bad boy bikers are cute adorable romantic bears, to be honest.
In a lot of MC books, it always seems the male lead is always an alpha dominant male. Like we get it but it's a nice change when their characters are too as invested as their partners in romance. Getting to know their feelings, their thoughts and not all the "you're mine" kind of thing.

Sly is the president of the Great Wolves MC. We all know from the position he held he is powerful, alpha and knows what he wants.
The chemistry romance with Scarlett was instant.
It was pretty straightforward, we know their battles, the mountain they got to climb and how to make their relationship work.

Scarlett is a badass. We get more action scenes in this read which was so fun.
The side of MC we all want to see involves the club, violence, turf war and there are more intense happening we shall see in future books of the series.

Sly keeps saying "come here" OMG I WAS DED EVERYTHING HE SAYS THAT.

Fuck me, woman. You're gonna be the death of me."

Review for Sly (Great Wolves Motorcycle Club Book 2) by Jayne Blue

Jayne Blue - I was incredibly honored and thrilled to receive a very early copy of her new book Sly from Great Wolves M.C Series

This is your typical great read by Jayne Blue. Suspenseful, sexy, hot, spicy and fun all between the pages of a book that I could not put down. There are lots of twists and turns in this story, but it is definitely one you don't want to miss.

Sly Cullinan: - President of the Great Wolves MC,..... Sly, his name should say it all , when it comes to women... Sly only has known Scarlett for a day and a half & already she’d worked some spell on him. Sly lost focus on Club Business , So Colt (Sergeant-at-Arms) step up & started looking into Scarlett..... Colt soon find out that Scarlett wasn't whom she said she was

Scarlett: - Getting close to Sly wasn't just supposed to be part of the job. She was to go in do her job & get out...Scarlett was hired to kill Sly . after Her partner messed with the brake line on Sly's bike. so now she is here to clean up the mess. ...Somewhere down line Scarlett lost focus on her job....

That being said , I found that Scarlett was Lil full of herself when came to handle herself with all killers surrounding her.... I didn't like how easily Shy fell for Scarlett. Mind you Sly is supposed be Player..... I just didn't feel like Scarlett was good enough for Sly in my opinion... With the VP, Dex, being out of town and an attempt made on Sly’s life, protecting the club should have been Sly’s first priority. Yes, he deserves a love life & someone to love after all the heart aches of cleaning up after his Uncle Blackie illegal activities..... Colt played major roll in this book

Will Scarlett be the death of Sly?

All in all, this was a good read. I would have to be honest & say I didn't like the ending to Sly & Scarlett story . I am hoping that Jayne Blue give us more info about Sly & Scarlett story in her next book...

I read the sneak peek of the next book in this series... I'm excited to read the next book with Colt & his Twin. We will be moving away from Green Bluff to Ohio.... Can't wait for more of these sexy, dangerous, tortured men of the Great Wolves M.C. and the strong women they love!

I was given an ARC by the author for an open and honest review.

I started this book months ago , after I finished Dex,book one of this series. I read two chapters of Sly , then decided to read something else, a friend suggest I give the series another chance and I am glad I did. Sly is a good story with lots of sexy time between the sheets. The lead characters were perfect for each other , Scarlett is the leading lady, she is cool under fire, sweet when she needs to be but deep down she just wants some light in her life to take away from the darkness. She will find that light in the Sexy Pres of Great Wolves MC. But the problem is Sly is her mark and rule one never get involved with a mark. It was fun watching Scarlett break all her rules for Sly, but who could resist sex on wheels, with blue eyes and a dimple. Sly is one sexy Wolf. I enjoyed all the characters in the story along with the storyline. Now I can't wait to read all about the pirate looking biker named Colt. Happy Reading,!!

Sly was an easy character to love in the first book so I couldn’t wait to see where his story takes him. And I loved it. I loved Scarlett and Sly together, I thought they were perfect. I loved how the story didn’t drag at the beginning and went straight into new problems for the club and its members.
Scarlett intrigued me right from the beginning and I couldn’t wait to read more about her. I loved how easy going she was especially with Sly. I really enjoyed those two together, I loved how fun, hot and protective Sly was with Scarlett.
There were a few parts that were a little slow going for me but it wasn’t long until the story picked up and I couldn’t put it down especially towards the end

This is the second book in the Great Wolves MC series. As much as I loved the first book in the series I loved this one as much if not more. I felt Scarlett and Sly were well matched in so many ways. They are both leaders and know how to take care of business. The sexual heat between the two is so hot. I loved how strong Scarlett’s character is, she was the perfect match to Sly and a good addition to the club. If you like outlaw bikers going straight, hot guys and tough women, this just might be the series for you.

After meeting Sly in Dex's story I couldn't wait to start his story. Sly draws you into his world with the way he cares about the people he considers family. Sly is Scarlett target, but as she gets to know him you see a change in her. Sly gets under her skin. He knows she has a secret, but doesn't know he's her target. Their story is action packed and full of twists and turns. I'm so happy they got their happily ever after I just hope they end up in the same place together instead of 2 hrs between then. Now on to the next book.

She Doesn't Know Him

An ARC was given to me and I agreed to voluntarily review it. My opinions are my own. Somebody tried to take him out. He hoped the club would have peace fora little while, doesn't look like that's going to happen. She's in town to do a job not get involved with her mark. After all she knows what he and his club is like, or does she? This is an exciting and entertaining read with action, murder, deception and mayhem. Enjoy I did.

Eh, this isn’t a bad book but it isn’t one that inspires me to purchase more in the series. If this was in KU I’d probably give the series another shot with reading a book or two more. I semi cared about the characters, but not a ton. The only one I liked was Scarlett. The guys in the club are just unimpressive and the heat factor wasn’t there at all. Some may enjoy this for being an MC light type of book.

Hitwoman

Scarlet is a hitwoman hired to kill Sly. He's a bad guy so she doesn't feel bad. She'll do this last job and be done. Then she meets him and begins to doubt that he's bad. Plus she's attracted to him. Now that she doesn't want to kill him she has to figure out how not to get either of them killed.

Again loved the book. Though I wish that I had more time to read it at one time. The characters were really well written and I might be partial since I do own huskies but loved that Scarlet had gotten one.

Sly
Jayne Blue

I have been putting off writing this review. I adore Jayne Blue and most of the time I LOVE her work. Unfortunately I can’t say the same for this one and it breaks my heart.
I was looking forward to Sly’s story. He seemed like such a complicated and fantastically written character. This story makes him seem shallow, selfish, and out of control. I wouldn’t expect this from someone who has worked so hard to bring the Great Wolf MC out of the business of drugs and thugs and into clean legitimate business that can make him and his club proud.
I feel like the Sly I thought I knew wouldn’t go falling head over heels for some girl just because she has pretty hair and long legs. He blew off everything that was going down with his club to fall all over this woman who should have made the hairs on the back of his neck stand straight up. She wasn’t good enough for him in my opinion. With the VP, Dex, being out of town and an attempt made on Sly’s life, protecting the club should have been Sly’s first priority. Yes, he deserves a love life and someone to love, but this wasn’t the time for that.
There were also some inconsistencies that I found in the book this time around. For instance, this book is taking place right around the same time as the second book in the Hold trilogy and yet Sawyer is there at the club house at the same time he is supposed to be helping Cassidy to set up a fight for GWG and take care of the publicity for the reality show that Craddock is on. At one point the book states that “his eyes were full of sin and promise when I kissed him.” No matter how many time I read the preceding pages I could not see where she HAD kissed him. At another point Scarlett was supposed to be tied up but at the same time she was raking her nails down Sly’s back. She must be REALLY talented.
I will always look forward to Jayne’s books and I hope that nobody sees this as a reason to not enjoy her books because they are so full of sexy characters and broken men who need to be held and soothed by the right woman, who wouldn’t want to read them?!

Review for SLY by Jayne Blue
I received this as a gift for an honest review
Scarlett Shaw is an assassin. She has been hired by the Devil’s Hawks MC to take Sly Cullinan out of the picture. But when she meets with the man, she questions his motivation and reasons, but wisely keeps it to herself. Sly Cullinan is the President of the Great Wolves MC. He has fought and even killed to bring the MC into legit businesses and out of the nightmare his uncle put the MC into. When he is almost killed when his brakes go out, he questions who and why. Is it someone within his MC or is it from outside sources. When Scarlett and Sly meet, sparks fly and it is obvious to all who see them . But when Scarlett is drugged on the night she has decided to take Sly out, something very unexpected happens. Scarlett breaks all her rules for Sly because she sees something in him that she doesn’t believe. He is not the stone cold killer and leader she was expecting, but someone with warmth and integrity. Now, she doesn’t know what to believe. As her and Sly form an attachment even more confusion settles in. It doesn’t help that Scarlett’s “agent” in these matters is an ass and total screwup either. Lewis is a problem she doesn’t need but has to deal with. When he goes behind her back and makes a real mess of things, the secrets Scarlett has been trying so hard to hide finally come out. When they do, they tear her and Sly apart. Both of them have fallen in love and the only thing Scarlett wants is to save Sly…and she is willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish that end. When the smoke clears and the bodies start adding up, Scarlet has done the impossible…she has saved Sly and his MC…and she has vanished. Now it is up to both of them to start over without the other…or is it ???

For Scarlett Shaw, the job should be simple move on the target get in and get out again no problem. However Scarlett's partner screwed the pooch and now the target is on alert for trouble which makes her job that much harder. Samuel "Sly" Cullinan being the president of Great Wolves MC in Green Bluff, California really thought that being legit would eliminate all of their problems. Yet Sly is still trying to get out from under what his Uncle Blackie Murphy put The Great Wolves through in his desire and greed for more. When Sly spies a sexy woman in a pair of denim shorts that leave little to the imagination at Benny Hurley's Motorcycle shop. Sly's intrigued and definitely interested in learning more about this beauty. Scarlett definitely knows her work just got more interesting yet all that could change if Lewis and Kagan have their way. Scarlett is being undercut at every turn and doesn't like it one bit. Scarlett plans to show up at Great Wolves Den to turn Sly on his collective ear so to speak. Can Scarlett complete her job? How much will Kagan and Lewis interfere with Scarlett's job? Will Sly admit his feelings? Your answers await you in Sly.

This sequel definitely shows great storytelling abilities by the author. I was definitely curious about Sly after reading Dex's story in book one. Scarlett is just my kind of female character~take no prisoners and bold as brass in strength. The characters and story were raw, flawed, real, compelling, intriguing, bluntly honest, and unique too. Looking forward to Colt's story next.

A Review of Sly by Jayne Blue

Outlaw, Assassin and Passion - 5 stars

This is the second book in the Great Wolves Motorcycle Club. Sly is the president of the club and has just watched his best friend and VP Dex, get married and head out for a well deserved and extended honeymoon with his wife, after dragging the club out of the last illegal hold they have had on the club.

Scarlett shows up after being hired for a hit job. Her partner messed with the brake line on Sly's bike, which caused it to fly off the cliff into the Great Wolf River, so now she is here to clean up the mess.

The chemistry between Sly and Scarlett is very palpable from the moment they meet. We learn quickly who has the contract out on Sly, so we know there is going to be some major $hit going on. Now it's a question of how things are going to work out with Sly and Scarlett. Will either one of them make it out of this alive?

I definitely recommend this to those that love the alpha guys who ride a motorcycle. Looking forward to Colt's story next, especially since we will move away from Green Bluff to Ohio.

Sly is the second book in the series of the Great Wolves Motorcycle Club by Jayne Blue. Before i start with my review, the first book in this series review is also on my blog, but i would like to point out that you can read these books as a stand alone book.

From book one in this series we did meet Sly alot and saw his character develop and become quite a leader, however I am pleased to see the author has decided to show Sly's vulnerable side, which of course is love or should i say Scarlett Shaw.

Scarlett Shaw is introduced as quite a strong female who can catch any mans eye without trying. She comes into Sly's path when she is hired to end Sly Cullinan once and for all. But from there first meeting it is clear the connection between them both is unbreakable.

The author has definitely improved in the second book, i felt it was more than just a romance book, but aswell i crime story unraveling. Mixing two strong characters together was most certainly a good choice, and only seeing there weaknesses peep out now and again definitely made me fall in love with both characters.

Book #2 in the Great Wolves Motorcycle Club is all about hot, alpha president Sly. Going into this book I was expecting it to have him getting together with a nurse from the previous book....and I am glad I was wrong!

Sly has an accident with his motorcycle and while looking for a new one at his friend's dealership his eyes land on a brunette he has never seen in town--Scarlett. She oozes sex appeal and strength and Sly decides quickly he wants to get to know her. Little does he know that she already knows a lot about him.

Scarlett is a hit-woman that has been hired to take Sly out of the game permanently. While trying to get his attention one night at the Den, he ends up coming to her rescue and that sets her entire plan off kilter. She has never needed or wanted to depend on any man, and the way that his touch sets her blood ablaze, she has absolutely no idea how or if she can carry out her mission.

If you love Jayne Blue you will not be disappointed with this book. I loved the premise behind this book and there were many things that happened that I did not see coming!

Cool storyline. This series is different from the ones I have read in the past. The leading women are strong and independent in their own right. Love this! And the club, doesn't seem to have club bunnies or sex scenes in the open. Or at least not mentioned anyway. Interesting🤔😉

I was given this book in exchange for my honest review.

Wow! Another scorcher by Jayne Blue! Sly is the 3rd book in the Great Wolves MC series and just as hot as the first two. I loved the story of Sly and Scarlett and although a tough alpha biker Sly has a softer side that is also romantic and sexier than sin! I know I will be dreaming of wolves tonight. Be warned though this book is steamy and hot. In this summer heat you should read in air conditioning or at least air conditioned undies! Great job again Jayne!

Added note: There are not too many books that stay with me very long. Sly has haunted me nearly everyday. I'm not sure if its because this alpha, tatted, motorcycle riding club president is trying to change his life around, if somewhere in there he actually has a heart or what but I am hoping we hear more from Sly later on. Especially since his happily ever after just started at the end of the book and maybe there will be more to come. :D

What a ride

Book two in the Great Wolves MC series was a strong addition to the series. I personally enjoyed it more than book one. Sly and Scarlett are well matched physically, emotionally and sexually.
Loved the strong female lead Ms Blue did her job well and the female took equal billing not as a secondary player as in a lot of storylines. Will definitely be reading more from this author. I've actually already purchase Book three, Colt before writing this review. Off to read now.

Love this author!

After I finished with Dex, I was excited to see that Sly was ready and waiting for me to read! I normally don't find myself liking the female character right away but Scarlett was easy to like. Sly wasn't as big an ahole as I thought he'd be. So far Dex is still my favorite but I've only read the two. That being said I plan on reading all of the books in the series!

Really enjoyed this one also. Perhaps even more than "Dex". Sly and Scarlett are great together. Separately they are both forces. She's perfect for the President of an MC. Lewis was such an idiot I couldn't help but laugh. I was sorry that Dex and Ava weren't in this one at all. Hopefully we'll see them in future books. Great series so far.
