Step F*@k #4

Step F*@k: Book Four

Rate this book
The fourth and final instalment in a four-part series*

SWIPE LEFT.

That's all I did. A few too many glasses of wine with my best friend and the bitch convinced me to go on one of those dating websites.

A one-night stand.

A booty call.

And you know what? It.was.amazing.

I spent all night in a sexy stranger's arms, hot and sweaty, until it was time to sneak out and do the walk of shame back to my apartment.

I never thought I'd see sexy stranger again, and I was totally fine with that - until my mother's wedding.

She's getting remarried, see. And sexy stranger just happens to be my new stepbrother.

All the wine in the world isn't going to make this better.

Bummer this one, I was hoping for grand finale but the last part wasn't as good as I expected it to be. Not much really happened, I mean we got HEA but I had a hard time believing in their love and this part was rather boring, not as funny as the previous ones and not too much nookie, which, let's be honest, is why we read these erotic serials.

In the 3rd part Emma decided they should stop having sex and ends things, since Jai has feelings for her, he is pissed and this is when 4th part starts. The wedding day comes, the more Emma drinks at the reception, the more she realizes she wants Jai too, no matter what people might think of it. When she goes to his bedroom to tell him that, she discovers him in rather equivocal situation. After that she just flees, I get that she was angry but a little conversation would have solved everything. I mean, talk people!

Then we have a time jump, 4 months later and they are still apart and this is where I had the biggest problem with this part. I said I liked Jai in my last review, but not anymore unfortunately, he did something that irked me too much.

The whole story reminded me Prick a bit but I have to say Prick was way much better. Overall it was entertaining and good serial, though the ending was just ok, but if you're into stepbrother hot stories, this one will do it for you.

This is the final installment in the Step F*@K series. I started this series because I love serials and forbidden love, but as the story continued I grew to really love the characters.

Jai is completely sexy and charming, I loved that he was British. Emma was sweet and wholesome, but not prudish. I felt they were the perfect pair. They had excellent chemistry, but I really enjoyed them so much more when their true feelings began to come out.

This serial definitely had some cheesy moments, but I actually like that there was more to the story. It was super hot, but Ward did a great job created more for her characters. I like how Emma pursued her passion and wanted to find herself. I like how both the hero and heroine were true to their characters. If you are looking for a fun serial for the summer, a fan of forbidden love, I definitely recommend!

Oh boy. Well, I finished. Can’t say I loved it, because I didn’t. This part of the story gave me a few issues. The first being the misunderstanding. I realize that Emma was upset and hurt and jumping to conclusions, but they’ve already been through that and she should have stopped to think about that before running away.

My other issue was with the time jump, not so much that there was one, but that both Jai and Emma were sleeping with other people for the four months they were apart. Um….really!? You’re so hung up on the other person that you start randomly sleeping with every Tom, Dick and Harry to cross your path!? That really bothered me.

I’m not sure if there should have been one more piece to this story, to really develop the emotions between Emma and Jai, or if there should have been less games between them in part 3 but either way, I wasn’t really convinced that they were in love.

Overall, the story wasn’t bad. Sure, I had a few issues, but for the most part, it was entertaining.

Step F*@k is a debut novel by Scarlett Ward which is divided in four segments set to be release separately.

Emma has been in a slump ever since her now ex-boyfriend cheated on her. But her best friend isn’t about to let her girly parts shrivel up or get spider webs due to lack of use. After setting up an online dating profile for Emma, she finds her a good candidate to hook up with. Who would have guessed her one night stand would shortly become her stepbrother?

Loath to be in L.A. to attend his father’s wedding, jai goes online to find a companion for a night. Unknowingly contacting a first time online dater that exceeds all of his expectations and leaves him wanting more.

Step F*@k is classified as a romance but I wish it would have been categorized under erotica in which case I wouldn’t have requested the ARC and would be in the position to rate it poorly.

In the first installment we’re introduced to Jai and Emma, the hero and heroine, and Emma’s best friend Megan. There’s all sorts of humor with these three and while Jai and Emma certainly have a hot night together, the nature of their meeting and setup doesn’t allow the reader to fully connect with them.

I could understand this, since it’s only the introduction and it did leave me curious as to what would be next. Overall, the first segment is a short and entertaining read.

The following segments start where the previous leaves off. In the second installment, Emma walks away from the best sex she’s ever had with a bitter taste and then soon discovers that the sexy stranger she only knows intimately is also set to be her stepbrother in just a few short days when their parents get married.

Even though she clears the air regarding her assumptions she’s still adamant to pursue anything further with Jai because of their soon to be kinship, which is truly a silly technicality. But Emma views having a relationship with Jai as incest, that is, until the moment their parent get married, not before. Thus starting and endless and irksome back and forth mood swings which not only infuriated Jai at one point, it also plummeted my rating.

Le sigh. I really don’t like giving bad reviews. But this was unavoidable.
The writing was novice but that’s usually ok for me in a debut novel. I’ll only take off half a star for that because I’m sure that putting out a book is no easy task. Besides the irritating, immature heroine, even though the hero didn’t annoy me, he didn’t win me over either. The plot drama was flimsy, but what really killed it for me was that it is marketed as a romance and even as an erotic romance here was zero of it, but copious amounts of gratuitous sex.

and the WOW is back! yippeeeeee

As promised, I will now review style and content for this story. I still stand by my previous statement ... this story is sexy and fun and witty. It's a fun, quirky story that isn't full of angst or deep or even taboo for that matter. It's a good time on paper! I enjoyed myself tremendously reading the push pull between our leads, Jai and Emma. Altho trying at times, they made for quite an explosive pair.

Did I think Emma got a little tiresome with the whole but you're my step brother nonsense?! HECK YES!! lol Did I think Jai could have been a little more assertive with Emma so she wouldn't get the wrong idea about him CONSTANTLY?! HECK YES!! lol

But then what fun would this story had been? A huge part of the appeal to this story is its sitcom voice. It read like a television sitcom. And it was fun and entertaining and endearing and frustrating and also very very sexy when it was sexy. It was everything it was supposed to be when it was supposed to be.

The only negative critique I truly have is that installment 3 was completely unnecessary. It added nothing to the story except frustrate the reader because it completely focused on Emma's tiresome ... but you're my step brother ridicucraycray (that's my new word for all things foolish)!

SO, here's my advice to all future readers: READ THIS STORY, but skip installment 3. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! #TRUTH

**** 4 miraculous stars ****

This is the final book in this series and I'm sad to see it end.

The entire series was great and I think Scarlett Ward did a great job of creating well rounded characters who evolve not only in the relationship with each other but also in their lives and families.

In this one I had moments of great frustration with Emma. The will she/ won't she, I want you but I can't have you was getting a bit too much. There were moments where I was plotting her demise, especially with Jai being SUCH a great guy.

So no doubt things had to be brought to a head somehow, and boy did it ever. Emma made some really stupid decisions and it caused a moment or two of unnecessary drama but in the end I was really happy that she did what she did as I feel she grew into a better person.

I liked the MCs and all the secondary characters right from the start. The pace of these books were perfect, never did I feel like it was rushed nor did I ever get bored and feel it was too long. The books were all sweet and funny with some very sexy moments. I just loved Jai and Emma together.

The only thing I missed from these books were a real sense of the forbidden. Even though it was mentioned that they were step-siblings and it was kept a secret I never felt that there would have been any judgment from anyone in their lives.

Still, I'm happy to recommend these books to anyone who is into getting the warm fuzzies from a book.

Combined Review

In The first instalment we meet Emma, a young college student who is still recovering from the betrayal of her last boyfriend when her best friend and flat mate signs her up for an online dating account.

While looking at her profile she is messaged by "sexy stranger" who invites her to his hotel room to meet.

Deciding to throw caution to the wind Emma heads to the hotel with her best friend, Megan, being dragged Along in the event he is a psychopath.

After a few drinks in the bar Jai and Emma proceed to his room for the main event of the evening.

As oft happens with these serials we get a small taste of some hot and steamy sex before the conclusion of part one. So I guess I better jump straight into part 2 so I don't develop a case of blue clit Winking face

Ok so part 2 kicked off the morning after and for a second I had hope we were going to get a big dose of steamy sex but sadly a stupid miscommunication cut it off before it started. And our lovers part.

But only to be reunited at their parents rehearsal dinner with the discovery of their future step sibling relationship.

Needless to say there's a bit more to the story that I will leave you to discover on your own since it once again ended in a steamy sex scene and I need to read part 3 to see how it plays out.

The third instalment is the perfect example of why I love these serials. Loads of super steamy sex, a minimum amount of angst and drama and did I mention loads of steamy sex? Perfect. Now off to the fourth to see how the angst plays out and whether or not we get our hea.

Sadly the fourth instalment just didn't work for me at all. After another stupid misunderstanding followed by juvenile behaviour Emma and Jai are seperate for a large part only to reunite and end the story in a rush without really tying up any of the loose ends. I do need to stress that it wasn't necessarily a issue with the story but more that it just didn't work for my personal taste and I am very disappointed not to get what I was hoping for from this series.

Here in the final installment of this sexy serial, we find Emma and Jai apart…both discovering that nothing is as satisfying as the two of them together. This final part has the two of them coming to that realization, but will they decide to give it a shot? I don’t want to spoil it for you, but I think you’ll be quite satisfied with the outcome.

For a short serial like this, all four parts pack a good punch, keep you engaged and excited for each part, and give you interesting-if at some times frustrating-characters. Each part can be read quickly-I finished all four in one evening. Even though it’s a quick read, it gives you a full story, and anyone who loves step-romances will really enjoy it. Overall rating for the complete serial…4 stars!

Arrrr the romantic conclusion….

This is the sweetest of the instalments; it’s missing the grit and intensity of the other parts of the story.

I kind of fell in love with Jai in this part he is just so cute and loved up. Emma seems to be almost like the guy in the equation not really admitting her feelings till the bitter end!!

I missed all of the sex as its sorely lacking in this instalment.

Overall this is a dirty sweet story and I’ve really enjoyed it!!

I know that this is a four part serial but personally I would suggest you get all four parts and then read them one after the other like a full length novel.

Part four gets 4 stars from me.

I received this for an honest review.. I have to say that although serials are not generally my thing or step-brother books, these books have turned me. This was a very enjoyable series.. (THANKFULLY I got all 4 at once)

I found myself really liking and enjoying this series and really liking the Jai and Emma's characters and their chemistry between them. I would 100% recommend this to any and everybody... These books were great because they had a really awesome balance of what a good book needs. Funny characters, sexy encounters, a little drama (who doesn't love that)

My only complaint is that I wished this had been done as one book rather than serial but all in all a great job

I really was enjoying this series until the middle. Emma was just so obnoxious and started getting on my nerves.
the way she handled Jai was really uncalled for like really. she just went downhill for me.
She took off for 4 months and she just took him back without actually talking it out. So couldn't you just have done that from the beginning??! The only positive thing was her following her dream.

This ending was very quick and doesn't acknowledge how Jai and Emma were going to deal with the fallout with their family. The whole problem with their relationship was that they were stepsiblings, but the only thing that ended up driving them apart was a misunderstanding.
I would have at least liked to have seen Jai and Emma face their friends and family as a couple.

Debut Release of the new serial romance by Scarlett Ward is going to appeal to readers that love the forbidden romance. I had the pleasure of receiving ARC copies of all four installments. I was able to read these installments back to back without interruption. This kind of story is very hard to review in each installment, therefore, I am going to give my overall thoughts of the serial as a whole and then lightly break down each installment.

Emma is getting over a bad relationship where she caught her long time boyfriend cheating. She has trust issues and is gun shy about getting back into the dating world. After spending six months single, her roommate encourages her to join an online dating site. That is where she hooks up with Jai.

One wild night of passion leads to more than an awkward morning after. It ends with a viscous bang.

The two will meet up again when they attend their parents pre wedding dinner. This situation goes from awkward to heated in the upcoming wedding celebrations. They can't keep their hands off of each other. They both fight, misunderstand the other's intentions, and struggle to figure out how to fit in their new family dynamics.

Each installment ends on a light cliffhanger.

I think this serial should of been one novel. The cliffhangers were not enough to keep the reader dying for more. I found flaws in the family relationships and dynamics that just did not connect leading characters and secondary characters. There was not enough of a build up of sexual tension to validate the romance between the leading characters. It was more of a sex fest in my opinion.

Further more the character development was weak. It was very hard to connect with the characters and understand their drive.

Some may say that it is impossible to develop more when the story is delivered in novella length installments. I say no it is not because I have read so many of these type of serials that leave me aching for more.

I really had high hopes for this serial. Sadly it did not do it for me as a reader.

**************

Part 1- 3 Stars

Part one covers the meeting between Emma and Jai. It covers their one night stand and disastrous morning after.

This was a good introduction that left me intrigued and curious about what happens next.

Part 2 - 2 Stars

The leading characters, Emma and Jai , meet up once again at their parents pre wedding dinner. They begin hackling each other but at the same time can't keep their hands off one another.

The reader also gets an introduction to the secondary characters in the story. We meet the family members. I can honestly say I really struggled with the family dynamics that were going on. It felt more like these two were with acquaintances rather than their parents. It was very odd.

Part 3 - 2 Stars

This installment takes the family to the lake house. They have a few days before the wedding to bond before the other guests arrive.

What happens in this installment is like two children in the sandbox fighting over the same toy. These two bicker and irritate the crap out of each other. They still can't keep their hands off each other. I found these two spent more time sneaking around having sex. I never felt the chemistry between the two. I also never had a grasp on who they were as individuals as well as a couple. Their POV focused more on the sexual relationship rather than the mental relationship.

Once the wedding takes place all hell breaks loose between the two. Assumptions and misunderstandings force Emma to disappear. That disappearance was down right weird and out of the blue.

Part 4- 2 Stars

The conclusion to the story. The reader finds out why Emma disappeared. Which was interesting and believable. But what happens after that was predictable. Emma and Jai do find their happy ending.

---Full Review for all 4 books---

This book was ok. I didn’t have trouble finishing, but I didn’t feel like I would have missed anything if I’d never read it. It was pretty typical and expected, nothing new in the taboo/step sibling scenario. Although, I give kudos for the steamy scenes, my temperature was definitely elevated!

***Light spoilers from here on***

I liked Jai a lot, especially toward the end when he recognized the potential for more in their relationship and didn’t fight it. His dirty talk was hot as hell. He had the sexy, alpha thing going for him, which is always a plus in my book. However, he fell a little flat. I wanted more personality from him. He frustrated me when he kept telling Emma he didn’t care about the step thing, instead of specifically pointing out that they aren’t related other than emphasizing the “step” part of their relationship. When he doesn’t directly call her out on the incest comment (he glazes over it at one point with a comment about their kids) I rolled my eyes and thought, maybe this could all be cleared up if he would actually respond to her precise complaints, rather than to just continually say he doesn’t care.
Emma actually went downhill for me. I liked her less and less. Her attitude when she found out they were going to be step siblings was completely ludicrous. I could see being apprehensive over what people would think, but the author doesn’t even bring that into the equation until the very end. It comes out of nowhere as the explanation for her actions, but doesn’t have anything to do with her comments up until then. She spends the majority of the book saying that being together is incest, immoral, and wrong. If that were the case, it would be illegal. Give me a break. Incest? They aren’t actually related. Duh. And, why exactly is it immoral and wrong? I wanted to smack her and tell her to grow up. Her tendency to jump to conclusions and not ask for an explanation was ridiculous. Again, another indication of her low maturity level (very low). I kept thinking she was in the wrong book, she should be in a YA, high school setting.
I really hate when a guy claims to love a woman and then goes out and sleeps with another the next day to “get over her.” Not to mention that we are supposed to believe that he kept looking for her (sort of), desperate to find her, but trying to get over her with sleeping with other women at the same time…? How does that make sense? It took all of the romantic out of his declaration.
Emma isn’t any better, once she leaves. Having sex with someone else doesn’t seem like a solution to getting over someone else, it’s just lie you tell yourself, that you’ve moved on.
The secondary characters were no surprise, particularly the out-going, slightly slutty, roommate, they were just very typical.
I don’t usually harp on books about the state of editing, everybody misses things here and there (I’m sure there are plenty of issues with editing in this review. Lol). I don’t care about commas, extra quotations, blah, blah, blah, but there were missing words all over the place, it was completely distracting.
I give it two stars because it had potential, there were so many times when I felt like the author was on to something and then it didn’t go anywhere. It certainly wasn’t a DNF, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Review also from parts 1 - 3

*Note* I read the four parts of the serial back-to-back so I'm going to write a joint review covering the four separate instalments (this is so that I won't spoil any of the reveals or what happens where).

As the introduction to the series part one works well by introducing Emma, her hilarious bestie Megan and the handsome stranger online date Jai. Emma is trying to move on from a bad breakup when her friend introduces her to online dating. She meets Jai who is supposed to be a short term, no strings romance, until he really isn't.

If the first part is the introduction, then the second part is what hooked me. I definitely felt like the series got better as it developed. After a few unwelcome discoveries and misunderstandings, Emma and Jai are in for a big surprise. (This is in the blurb so it's not a spoiler) They discover their parents are getting married and that they'll be step-siblings - cue lots of confusion and embarrassment.

The good thing about the serial is that although Scarlett Ward does raise more questions in the different instalments, she does answer some along the way which keep me interested. As you can probably tell from the title and blurb, this is an adult series with lots of sexy time!

With every new instalment we get to know more about Emma and Jai. There are some really funny moments and I found the third part the most entertaining. A lot of things go awry and Emma's torn between saying no to Jai, and being really invested in discovering more about his life. As a Brit I obviously wasn't drawn to Jai's accent like Emma was but I did appreciate some of his other attributes ;)

As a four part serial Step F#@k is short and sweet. It has enough action and drama (outside of the bedroom) to pack a punch. I laughed a lot, although I did find myself wanting to shake some sense into Emma as the story progressed.

I was really hopeful that Emma could move on from her trust issues and that her and Jai could find their own HEA! It is worth noting that there is a cliffy or two along the way.

I'm not usually a big fan of serials because I'm too impatient to wait for the next instalment but I did enjoy it here. I've read several serials where one book is simply spread into MANY parts to sell more copies/make more money but I didn't feel like this was the case here and I actually liked the serial element (admittedly I did read them all together).

Part one rating: 4 (for the drama)
Overall series rating: 4 Stars.

I received a review copy.

~*~ARC given for a honest review~*~

ATTN This review is for all 4 books in the series..

First off let me start by saying I really enjoyed these books.. and Thank you for the opportunity to read and review these.
In this series we have Emma and Jai.
Emma is going to college for Architecture however her real passion and love is Art. She lives with her BFF and Roomie Megan..
Jai lives in London with and runs his own business.. He was born in LA but moved with his mother to London after his parents divorced.
Emma is trying to get over a breakup from 6 mo ago along with dealing with her mother’s upcoming wedding.. She comes home from class with a armload of groceries one evening only to find her BFF has taken it upon herself to “set her up on a dating website” at first Emma is not having any of it.. but after a few glasses of wine she decides to go for it.. she chats with “sexystranger” and decides to meet up at the hotel he is staying at.. After a AMAZING night of HOT SEX Emma notices something and she runs..
Fast Forward to the family dinner.. insert JAI (sexystranger).. her new/soon to be Step Brother..
Dun Dun Dun
There is quite a bit that happens.. the night of the wedding Emma walks in on Jai in a very compromising position.. Looks are not always what they seem.. She refuses to listen.. and she runs again.. This time she runs and does not tell anyone where she is going aside from Megan.. Jai is desperate in trying to find her..
I didn’t have to many issues with this book.. my main hook up was Emma.. She was wishy washy.. one min she wanted Jai.. then in the next breath she was like oh this is soooo wrong we cannot do this.. then the next.. welp she is back at it..
The other thing was… it just ended.. I was hoping for maybe a little more closure.. Jai does eventually wear Megan down.. and she tells him where she is at.. I was kind of hoping for a little more HEA at the end.. but maybe we will be gifted with a 5th and final book for them.. Maybe tie up/answer some of those questions. Do there family’s ever find out.? How will they take it?
But I still gave it a firm 4 – 4.5 stars… as this was a very good/sexy/quick reads…

Step F*@k by Scarlett Ward is the fourth and final book in her new serial, Step F*@k.

***WARNING: This review will contain spoilers for the previous book/s in this series. Do NOT continue reading if you do NOT enjoy spoilers! You have been warned!***

The basic premise of the story is this...
Online dating site. Girl meets boy. Girl and boy have hot drunken sex. Girl and boy have misunderstanding. Girl and boy meet again and realize their parents are getting married to EACH OTHER! and their private parts just did what last night? Ewwww. nah, it was still hot! Girl and boy have to spend the next couple of weeks in close proximity at the family lakehouse. Girl and boy agree to knock boots until the wedding. Girl and boy fall in love. Girl and boy have a huge fight and risk losing everything.

Book four opens shortly after Jai blew up at Emma over her blasé attitude about their being together. He is falling for her and he can't believe she is denying she feels the same. Throw in a couple more major misunderstandings and a career and life-changing decision and their paths end up going in COMPLETELY different directions. But, fear not, there is a happy ending in sight. The sort for fairytales not porn movies. Head out-of-the-gutter people, geez!

Book three for me had me seeing Emma in a different light.
I was feeling Emma up until the middle of the book.
After that… She was kind of starting to get to me. The way she handled Jai was just to much. I personally thought the ending was way over the top. She acted out for no reason.
But going into this book. I was having a hard time with her. I especially wasn’t feeling her for almost 60% of the book.
Which I was kind of disappointed in. Because I was feeling her and Jai so much in books 1-3 (until the ending).

I wish it wouldn’t have taken her so long to come to her senses. Her leaving and keeping it from everyone was just ridiculous.
I’m glad it ended the way it did. It was cute.
But… it just seemed way to fast.

I must say… I loved Jai from book one to book 4! His character was very consistent. And I loved that.
Emma’s character… I felt changed. I just wasn’t as in love with her as I was in the beginning of this series.

There was one thing I didn’t care for in this book.
I’m not a stickler about condoms. I’m pretty open.
But…. If the MC sleeps with more than one person…
Other than the MC….
Then yeah…condoms are a must.

If the main girl/guy character is Only sleeping with the MC… Then I don’t care.

But… it’s just gross if they don’t. Nothing says I love you more than getting a nasty STD and passing it to another person.
And that’s what I’m thinking about. When sex with other people are involved.

Overall…. I loved this series! I would totally recommend this series to everyone!

LISA'S REVIEW
4 STARS

I truly enjoyed this book especially because it was a bit different than I might've expected. It was refreshing to read a story that was very hot and yet quite entertaining. I enjoyed the plot quite a bit, my only disappointment was that I could've read more if it was available.

The author created a couple that had very steamy chemistry from the very beginning and that definitely made me very eager to continue reading and finding myself wide awake until I reached the end.

I do recommend this book to read for many reasons - the 2 most important:
- the sex scenes were extremely inventive at times yet always super hot/shiver-worthy and bc of that, you may find yourself wanting....needing immediate attention.
- the story also contained a plot that was also humorous at times which gave the book a nice balance and also help develop the characters more esp. because it is a such a quick read.

Well Done Scarlett Ward!

What a really great book! I loved both Emma and Jai they were both so fun and relatable. The secondary characters were well developed and added a lot to the storyline. I loved how Emma thought and worked through her issues until her life was what she wanted it to be. This was a light, easy, engaging, summer read.

This review is for parts 1 - 4.

Emma has been on a dry spell with sex since breaking up with her boyfriend. Her friend hooks her up with someone on a dating website and she heads out for a one wild night of good sex. But can she go through with it? Jai is from London but is in LA for his father's wedding. He hooks up with Emma and they have a great night.

Jai was one hot man with an accent. He was sweet, sexy, and dirty talking. He was also genuine. I was proud of Emma that she took a chance on a one night stand but that is were it ended for me. After that she could be a raving lunatic at times and very indecicive. She constantly threw up contradicting signs to Jai. She will want to make you slap her. She finally redeemed herself at the end when she decided to do what she wanted with her life.

This story was told in 4 parts and I actually liked this. Each section was a short read that took you on a wild ride from beginning to end. There was plenty of steamy sex, angst, drama (mostly from Emma) and laugh out loud moments. All of the characters were well developed and invested your emotions throughout the book.

How is it possible to have so many hot scenes in a book and it still leave me laughing out loud? This is a serial that spans over 4 books but it was still a fairly quick read for me. I read it in about 2 hours but I do read pretty fast. I love the way this book starts out, the middle and the ending. There aren’t many books that I can honestly say that about. Every time I came to the end of one of the books, I was going right back for the next installment of the series. There are so many little things I liked in this book but the author’s ability to actually make the story have tension and be funny and sweet all at the same time is my favorite.

Jai and Emma hook up through an online dating site and then find out that their parents are getting married when they go for a dinner party the next day. Emma is having a really hard time with the whole situation but Jai just does not give a flip. It’s funny watching him chase her though out the books.

Highly recommend. Go get it when it releases. You will not regret it.

What would u do if you had 1 night of intense pleasure?
Something you have never felt before?
Only to find out it can't happen again?
It can't last or can it?
What would you do if the best night of your life was with your stepbrother?

Emma and Jai's worlds collide by fate, chance and pot luck.
Emma's friend hooks her up on an online dating site and she meets him.

After a night of hot intense and very pleasurable sex things take a turn a miss communication, misinterpretation. She thinks it's over.....
There world's collide again at their parents wedding.

Can the title of step brother and sister keep them apart or is there passion to intense?

These were good quick read they didn't take us long. Great writing straight to the point no pissing around and that was great I'm not sure if we like the whole stepbrother stepsister thing maybe we are being a bit stereo type with that but each to their own we aren't judgmental on how people choose to live.
Well done on a good quick read!

Step F#ck is a 4 part series where we follow Emma, who is having a dry spell. Her boyfriend is long gone and she is kinda lonely. Luckily she has a BFF who is a little off her rocker and sets Emma up for a dating website. It is more like she is looking for Emma to have a one night stand to break her of her own bad habits.

Not even a few hours later, Emma meets up with someone who emailed her within seconds of logging on. She does ant know what to do, but again her crazy BFF pushes her to go to the hotel where her email er is staying. Emma is not usually likes this, but she is kinda at her a breaking point.

Her "date " is Jai. He is hot, British, and everything she has been missing in her life. He makes her see everything she has been missing between the sheets. He is everything she needs to break out of her rut and be out there. Jai is a blessing in disguises.

The couple have a roller coaster of a relationship. There is many up and downs... hence the title!

If you are a fan of step brother romances... you will love this one!

I've grown to love this serial so much! This final part is so full of feelings. I wanted to slap both characters into really talking to each other without all the doubts and misunderstandings. They so deserve to see each other as they are and feel openly what beautiful relationship they could be having.

I enjoyed the writing very much. Emma goes through a real emotional nightmare, but she reacts with gut and self-empowerment. I loved how she makes something of her life. And the romantic drama is right up my alley with both Emma and Jai living a disappointing separation.

Though I can't say that I relished the idea of Emma getting the kind of experience I envision her getting only with Jai. Or the same thing about him for that matter.

Despite all that unnecessary distraction, I loved the oh so romantic and film-like ending, however abrupt it was. I wanted more of the pretty things.

This is actually a series of 4 short novellas. I'm not sure why it was done that way but whatever lol - After reading book 1 you will be begging for book 2. (I read this as a series, one book after the other)

Book 1 = 5/5 ..... Leaves you with one heck of a cliffhanger
Book 2 = 4/5
Book 3 = 4/5
Book 4 = 4/5
The writing style is simple, direct and not overly fancy with big words and crappy comparisons. It's smooth and easy to read. Leaves you feeling like you float through the story.

"Hi mom, congratulations on your wedding day, my date is a sociopath I met online."

Witty, sarcastic and funny

This whole series has been awesome, right from the start we have two characters Emma and Jai that have hello chemistry but when they discover that not only can they have hot amazing sex they are fixing to bet step siblings, Jai has been totally upfront with Emma about everything even that his feelings are real, but Emma isn't so forth coming, she cares for Jai but she can't get pass the step sibling thing , she goes back and forth do much that finally she breaks and runs back to Paris, Jai isn't giving up he will find her but will it be to late. I absolutely loved this whole series and would love more. it was hot, sexy, funny, real I loved it.

This series ended on a low for me. It's a bit cruel to drag out a up and down love story over four books, where the MCs spend the final book

Not to mention...

I never fully understood the MCs appeal to each other. Aside from what is described as great sex, they hardly talk to each other. So, I'm not sure how they fell in love.

A solid 3.5 stars. It was good to see what happened to Jai and Emma and finally wrap up there take. I enjoyed them as a couple and loved their connection. I do have 2 gripes if you can call them that hence the 3.5 star review. Firstly, for those who have read it, a, I the only one who thinks it ended abruptly? It was like a big build up and then a small 'bang' where as I wanted a whole fireworks display. My other gripe was with Jai, who I loved throughout these books. He became(dare I say this?) a bit of a girl. I just felt he lost some of his cockiness which was a shame as it was part of his persona.

Still I did like this series and it's a great quick read too for holiday sun and vacations.
