I'm a girl with a passion for reading and desire for writing. You'll find me either reading or sitting by my laptop writing. I have too many favorite books to list but they would all most likely fall under the romance category. I'm a sucker for a good love story, shedding a few tears, and having my heart melted by an amazing book boyfriend! :) If I get free time you might find me watching a movie, my second love!

One of the best books I've read this year!!!
5 mind blowing ugly cry stars

WARNING: If you haven't read Away yet please don't read any further. You must read Away before this book. Scroll down at your own risk.

This book was really, really hard for me to read. If you've read Away you know why. This book is Jase's POV of the important, fun loving scenes in Away (no the whole book isn't rewritten.). I freaking loved this book and took my time reading it because I was afraid to get to the end. I didn't want to live through it all again, but I did want too. I had to know what Jase was thinking and feeling. I had to make sure my man got the ending he deserved!!! BA did not disappoint me.

I really am happy BA Wolfe decided to write this novella. Some people may not read it, but they will be missing out on an amazing, emotional, touching story. Take the chance to read this book. You will be a better person for it. It will make you want to spend more time with your loved ones. We never know when the end is near.

It really showed you that Jase had his happy ending. He died knowing what love was and that he was loved in return. He was taught what it was to live again. He wasn't living until Cassie came into his life. He lived every day she was there with more happiness than most do. (As I cry writing this

“The storm was over, but a new one had built and it wasn’t outside, but rather in. Inside my heart. Inside my body. Inside my bloodstream. She was a storm I never wanted to to go away. In fact, I only hoped it raged on for life.”

Letting Go is a beautiful, heartbreaking story. If you’ve already read the book, Away, then you already know the outcome of this story. However, Letting Go, will give you the much needed point of view from Jase. See, Jason is this simple country boy. All he’s ever wanted was to be normal. But, a normal life was to never be in the cards for him. He’s been dealt a very difficult and trying hand. He just takes one day at time and lives life the best way he can. The last thing he planned for was having Cassandra fall into his life. Cassandra’s life has been anything but easy. Her own secrets weighing heavily on her. Jase tries so hard to not let things progress with Cassandra, but their connection is undeniable. “I wanted her. Wanted this. Every single minute, hour, sunrise and sunset that I’d been falling for this girl, poured from my lips to hers. No kiss would ever compare. No heat from our bodies, no soft brush of her tongue against mine, would even come close. And I was pretty sure that if I hadn’t already fallen in love with her, I was there now.” The closer the two of them get, the harder it becomes for Jase to keep his secret. Jase will soon learn the hardest lesson of all…

Letting Go was a quick and easy read for me. I loved learning more about Jase and seeing everything that he went through before he met Cassie. His story intrigued and captivated me. Jase’s story taught me a very important lesson and that is to live each day to the fullest. It taught me to not be afraid of love and to never get let go of the love that I have. Letting Go took me on a very emotional roller-coaster ride and is one of those books that will stay a part of you for a long time after you put it away.

"If you wait for the right time for anything,it will always be too late."

I did need Jase's POV since I've read Away for the first time.I usually despise companion novellas but Letting Go is not a retelling of the same story it lets the readers know every missing pieces of Jase's and his family's history.
I fell in love with Jase once again and my heart broke after I've read the last page once again...I always hope for a different ending T^T (delusional I know).
Please read Away before to start this one so you can really enjoy the emotional roller coaster that is the Keaton series.
I want to thank the author for giving me the chance to read an ARC.

My emotions are all over. This was Jace's POV. It was perfection. It was so hard and I'm so broken but he's a beautiful soul we needed to have his side and it made me love him even more. I'm so thankful for this story for this journey.

When I first read the Keaton Series by this author, I knew I had come across a book and an author that would stay with me forever.

In “Letting Go”, we are told the story from “Stay” from Jase’s POV. I absolutely loved that we are able to understand what he felt…and believe me when I say, this book will give you the feels! It will once again reduce you to tears, and if it doesn’t, your heart is made of stone! The depth of emotion that comes across the pages is enough to melt the toughest of hearts.

Jase is one of my favourite characters EVER! He is romantic, sensitive, funny, gorgeous…I can go on and on. But what I loved most was his strength. He is inspiring as he loves completely and irrevocably.

I want to thank B.A. Wolfe for bringing these characters to life. They feel like family. Her writing is simply amazing which is why I call her the “female Nicholas Sparks”!

I finished Letting Go earlier today and had to walk away and think about things a little bit before I could sit down and write about it. I have to confess to having a little bit of a love/hate relationship with this book…
Letting Go is a companion to Away and tells Cassie and Jase’s story from his point of view. Away, especially the second half was an emotional read so I thought I was prepared for this book to be equally as emotional, but Ms. Wolfe managed to surprise me.
Where the emotional impact of Away started later in the story, we are hit with it almost immediately this time because we learn Jase’s secret at the same time he does. My respect for Jase went up watching him deal with the situation, but I struggled with the way his mother handled things. I also found myself liking his brother, Dan, even though we don’t see him much after the first part of the story.
I was thrilled with how Ms. Wolfe handled the telling of Cassie and Jase’s relationship in this book. She hit the things that really mattered and gave us a glimpse into what Jase was thinking, but managed to avoid a strict repeat of the story in Away. Even with knowing what was going to happen, I was not prepared for the wallop at the end of Letting Go – I can’t say much else without giving things away, but I will suggest a full box of Kleenex if you have even the smallest inclination to cry at books. (This is where the “hate” part of the reader/book relationship comes in. As much as I enjoyed this book, when I reread it, I probably will stop before the end.)
This story hit home for me in a couple of different ways and I continue to be awed by the skill Ms. Wolfe uses while handling incredibly complex emotions. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to read this story from both Cassie and Jase’s points of view and am looking forward to reading Stay soon.

I made a serious mistake. I tried reading Letting Go without tissues handy. Why did I do this? No clue - after sobbing my way through Stay and Away by BA Wolfe, I knew what to expect. Well, sort of. I knew that hearing Jase tell us his story would be incredible - and it was. I knew that reading the poetic beautiful that I've come to know from BA Wolfe would rip my heart to shreds.

"When life rains, it usually pours, but it's up to you to push the clouds away and bring back the sun." - Jase

"Her lips would save me. I knew they would, because she was already bringing me back from death I didn't know is been in." - Jase

"True love is when another person's happiness is greater than your own."

I could list about a hundred beautiful quotes - Jase is a man who is just a sweet, kind and gentle soul. He knows what it's like to suffer through the harsh reality of heartbreak for many reasons and he chooses to look beyond the ugly, the darkness. He chooses to live a life in the moment and recognize what he's been given.

As I finished reading Letting Go with those ugly tears streaming down my face faster than I could catch and yes - the nasty snot filled crying had commenced - I immediately picked up Away and Stay. I couldn't wait to re-read everything from the beginning. Because Letting Go wasn't just a recap of Stay. It was a new outlook and perspective.

If you are looking for a book that will break your heart and put it back together, make you believe in true love, in beautiful souls, pick up Letting Go and if you haven't had the pleasure of reading Stay and Away by BA Wolfe, one click now. You won't regret it. Letting Go is so much more than an ugly cry - it's heartbreaking, emotional, yeah - but it also made me think and remember the power of enjoying every moment we have been given. I couldn't put it down.

Letting Go-

**You must know that this book is not to be read first. You’ll lose it all if you do. Do yourself a favor and start from the beginning.**

Oh my cute secret squirrel!!!! This is a quick novella all in the eyes of Jase. I knew the story. Knew the details. Knew the outcome. But to see it in his eyes……

I actually enjoyed this! Despite the fact, that these companion novellas aren’t normally my cup of tea, especially when they retell the same story, with Away, Stay & Letting Go there were so many sides and so many co-stories that were important. Having Jase’s side not only brought back the heartache but it also reminded me how much I loved Away & Stay. How original the story was and how it affected me. Still affects me.

One of the things I like the most was getting some details on how things were found and what happened after that initial discovery. What Jase’s family went through? The relationship with his parents, certainly, but his brother, another one that tugged at my heart.

"They didn't make me, Jase. You don't get it now, but you're my brother and this is by far the easiest decision I've ever made."

I could tell his decision to stay wasn't out of guilt; it was because he was my brother.
And my God, he really was Batman. He would always find a way to protect me wouldn't he?

And then if the family tie didn’t ruin me again Cassie sure did. I hate that he was dealing the hand he had but to see his mental distress that Cassie did on his heart was a good side to see. Of course we knew it was all hard but so see him break things down and try to deal with them the best he could made me feel that much more for him- as if that was possible.

I freaking greenlight you, sweetheart.

Get the Kleenex ready because just when you thought you were done with the hiccupping, blotchy cheeks, sobbing – here comes this little gem. If you have not read Away yet, do that first so you get the whole picture of Jason’s story.

Some would consider this a point of view story but I feel it’s so much more. Yes, there are parts that we have already read about in Away but the way it’s told, it’s like reading a whole new story. I loved getting to know Jason in a different light. He’s so full of life and has such a big heart. I love how the whole family is always included and I keep wondering how I can find my own little Keaton town. Getting to meet Jason and understand who he is, what he was thinking when he meet Cassandra and is relationship with is brother is heart warming and beautiful. I’m not sure how much more I can say without giving anything away since I’m sure Mrs. Wolfe worked just has hard on the synopsis as she did the book. If you’re looking for a romance story and don’t mind needing tissues, than what are you waiting for?

Tear, speechless, and more tears. In this companion novella we revisit Away, which completely shattered me, but in Jase's POV. I undeniably fell in love with Jase all over again with Letting Go. Even knowing what was going to happen and trying to prepare myself for what was to come, but I still cried. I did not feel like I was re reading the same book again. Jase made it his own and gave it his soul, which just made a completely phenomenal story that much better. B.A. Wolfe is an amazing writer. Each book and character has taken a piece of my heart.

I was gifted this ARC for an honest review.

I think I fell in love with Jase more...although I still LOVE AIDAN...Jase will always hold a special place in my heart!
This is Away (the 1st book in the series told from Jase's POV) and B.A. did not disappoint! It is emotional, will pull at your heartstrings, make you laugh, make you cry....you will just FEEL and I love books like that! But be prepared with a box of tissues!
The relationship that Jace and Dan (although I prefer to call him by his real name Aidan) is something really special! Batman and Robin forever!

Ok I think I cried just as much if not more than when I read Away. This is such a beautiful story. Jase is such a Prince Charming with a beautiful soul. Which makes this story so hard to keep it together and not fall apart. It's Jase's side of the story and also you get to see more of his back story that's all new and more new stuff at the end that's great. You will love it, so check it out.

I honestly didn't think that B.A. Wolfe could return me to the blubbering mess she made me into when I read Away but I was wrong. I was so thrilled when I heard that she would be releasing a story for Jase's POV. I fell in love with that tender-hearted cowboy and wanted to get to know him even better. You absolutely have to read Away before reading Letting Go. If you haven't, read no further, or at your own risk because there are some things you need to know before you start this one.

I loved being taken back to meet a younger Jason and seeing the joyful, spirited kid he was before his world got flipped upside down. The pain and the fear he was living with was palpable. I admired his bravery in the face of the unknown. It was his bond with his brother, Dan, that helped get him through this trying time. What I liked most about the moments with them together was seeing just how much they were each others strength. I loved that Dan gave Jason an outlet for his emotions and that it played such a big part in his life going forward. Especially after Jason makes his demand of Dan.

Flash forward a few years and Jason is doing his thing when Cassie quite literally comes crashing into his life. He thought his world had been rocked before but it is nothing compared to the whirlwind Cassie brought to town. I loved seeing her through Jason's eyes. He looked at her with such reverence and awe that it was no wonder he held out from telling her his truth for as long as he did. I got his reasoning for it but it still doesn't mean I agreed with him 100%. But the turmoil he was struggling with was almost as bad as his situation overall.

Now I knew how it was all going to play out, I thought I could handle it....turns out I was so wrong. The way BA Wolfe wrote Jase's fate was almost poetic. The imagery was so vivid, I was there, reliving the moments with him and Cassie. I felt the sorrow but most of all I felt the overwhelming, all consuming love. My heart was breaking all over the place but I still had a smile on my face, I must've looked crazy, but I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

One week later and I'm still a hot mess! I knew what was coming, I prepared myself, I really did. Oh I so wasn't prepared though. To relive this story from Jase's eyes totally gutted me to a whole new level. The emotions, detail and journey B.A takes us on is intense. It's breathtaking, beautiful and heartbreaking all in one. To learn more of Jase's history and then experience everything we already knew through his eyes was so touching. Never have I sobbed like I did reading Letting Go. I so did not want to let go. I'm still not over it, I don't think I ever will be. That being said I wouldn't have had it any other way. B.A has a way and writing style to make you grieve, recover and have hope. I commend you for writing this book and I'm so glad I had an opportunity to read it. My heart feels full for getting another piece of Jase. This book and their beautiful journey will forever live on in my heart. Letting Go was definitely a 5 star read for me. I am extremely excited to see what this amazing author brings us next.

This is book 1.5 in the Keaton series. You absolutely must go read the first one called Away or this book will be pointless to read. This book is Jase's Pov of the events in Away. He takes us on his journey and the emotions we feel as we read it all is heartbreaking. This is definitely not a book that won't make you cry. I am positive about that since I don't usually cry over things I read. I really enjoyed this book even though it was hard reading since I knew what was coming towards the end. # Green light forever Jase#

I received an arc of this book for an honest review. I thought I loved Jase in Away but nothing like how I LOVED him in this book! It's still a beautifully written book about first love and loss, but reading it from Jase's point of view was just even more heart wrenching to read. I really can't wait to read Moose and Mel's story.

I can't put into words to properly describe how much I wanted Letting Go and how much it gutted me.
This series by B.A. Wolfe is in my top 10 favs of all time!

Jase is one incredible, sweet, caring man with a truly kind soul. The things he does for his family, friends, his brother ... Despite it all he's happy for his family... And until Cassie he was just kind of drifting in a sense... And the moment she crashed into his life--he was smitten.

I loved seeing his POV. I loved knowing his thoughts and the way Cassie made him feel.
His emotions, love, and whole personality makes you wish he was your real life boyfriend.
This book blew me away with Barb's ability to lure you in and grab your heart- making you fall heads over heels in love with this sweet man ALL OVER AGAIN! Her writing is eloquently written, emotional, heartfelt, witty and down right phenomenal!

Trust me when I say you need to grab this book!
You'll need a few tissues tho.....just be prepared.

10 stars! Can I give a book that? Well, I just did!

I'm not usually a fan of the guy's POV but with this one I just have to read it knowing how the first book Away ended. I needed to know how Jase felt, know more about his family and his teenage years. I wasn't disappointed. The only thing that I wasn't looking forward to was the ending because we all know how it ends. Gaaaah the heartbreak but thankfully my eyes didn't leak this time. Now onto book 2. B A Wolfe is now one of my top authors. I highly recommend this book as an accompanying novel to the first one.
