I hate that I didn't like this book. I was REALLY looking forward to reading it when I ordered it. I don't know if I can pinpoint exactly what I didn't like about it.
For one thing, I REALLY disliked the heroine. She simply got on my freakin' nerves...ugh! I thought she was childish at times, sexually manipulating and an all-around-pain-in-the-butt!
What stinks is I love Native American Heroes. Ohhhh the long hair, strong features and Alpha-ness about them really get me going at times. Not this time. I liked him. I thought he had great potential, but I disliked the heroine so much she overshadowed any warm fuzzy feelings I might have had for him
What a drag. :(

The second book of this series is Tamara’s story and how she comes to find love. Tamara has been from one foster home to another her whole life. She was not treated right and abused by those to care for her. This takes a toll on her. She does not live to find love but release with her wild ways. Until she bumps into a tall dark sexy Native American named Dakota Blackstone, does she realize her life is about to change. Dakota sees Tamara as his spirit mate and he is determined to help heal her and make her his. Nicole took me on an emotional journey with Tamara. I felt so connected to Dakota and Tamara. They were both truly so great, and belonged to each other. I loved Tamara’s transformation and watched her bloom into a loving person. I could not put the book down until the end and now I’m moving on to read Jesse’s story. Each story gets better and better. All the characters make you feel like you are part of the family. Simply beautiful. Another great job by Nicole.

I loved this book and Dakota been native America very sexy but injured. Dakota comes to ranch to take over for cord so he n Van can have more time together. Cord n Savannah r only have small parts in this book start n end. My only issue was with the sex scene I'm not against a little for-play but at one point it went on for like a whole chapter. I loved the thought of spirit mates n forever afters coming from the guy. Sarahx
