Mommy Bookworm’s Thoughts: This book is an AMAZING adventure story!! I loved reading it as much as my daughters loved hearing it! We thought about doing a video of me reading it, but right now the spot where my webcam sits is kind of messy, so we decided against a video until we clean it up! Anyway, we all loved this book. It was very fun & different & exciting. I enjoyed most of the illustrations, but felt that some were kind of difficult to see the details without taking time to sit and look over each page more. Although the reading level is supposedly for ages 4-8, it has a lot of words and I believe most kids 4-8 would need help with a number of words and would tire of reading before the end of the book. However, I think that children over 8 could read it without a problem, and I still think it’s a fun book for younger children to listen to.
Dahlia Bookworm’s Thoughts (11 years old): I LOVE this book because it is hilarious! It was funny because you had to wait a very long time for the restaurant to arrive. I could read it by myself. I liked that it had different kinds of food that you wouldn’t normally eat at a restaurant. I think the author just wrote it to be fun. I would recommend it to other kids my age and younger.
Daisy Bookworm’s Thoughts (7 years old): I love this book because it is funny and the pictures are really good. I like the bright colors. I love the part where the kids throw cake crumbs for fish that are singing. I also like that it’s a restaurant on the sea instead of on land, and that it’s in a tub instead of in a building. I really like it when he gives the kids a seashell to remind them of the day. I’d need help reading it. I would recommend it to other kids younger, older, and the same age as me because it’s a fun book.

My 5-year-old loved this imaginative book about the secretive Super Sailing Sea Restaurant.
Excerpt from the book:
"You can't take a bus or a train,
a bike or a skateboard to get there.
You can't even WALK there. . .
You have to go to the beach and wait."

A lovely and lyrical book and about a fantastic restaurant found in a tin tub out sea. The chef, Peppi, always has exotic and fun foods that require more than just eating.
Great illustrations.
Great illustrations.

Cute dream story, typical of most children's books and maybe some children. Emily & Aiden enjoyed being read to and looking at the well done illustrations.

Very cute imaginative book. Has a certain Willy Wonka-esc quality to it. Loved the illustrations!
