I was intrigued by the plot, but I hated how the heroine was so easy to get. Sometimes, I was pulling my hairs from my head at the insulting way she behaved. Girl the man used you, dumped you and you still have sex with him? no groveling not showing him how worthy you are? maybe, I'm overreacting, but I loved when the heroine stands by herself and demonstrates to us (the readers) how the hero falls in love with her.

I hope this is the worst book in this series. I'm almost afraid to try the others, this one was so ridiculous I nearly tossed it in the recycling bin. It only marginally redeemed itself towards the end.

Very good book, however I think the heroine could have played slightly harder to get. "Jumping in the sack" so to speak by the end of the second chapter and than upset several chapters later when he leaves her like all she was, was a roll in the hay. Have to say "Should have seen that one coming, sweetheart."
Other than that the novel was excellent and very much worth reading. I'm really looking forward to any novels that take go into the sister's lives, and possibly the brother.

"Set in stark tundra and desert majesty, Stephens' tale is a buffet for the senses, and her couple's lovemaking is a sensual journey - particularly in the harem tent." RT Book Reviews, rated 4 stars

This story was well written and I did get the feel of both the desert and the icy wilderness, but for me the main characters did not really connect at all.

I liked the storyline however what keeps me from giving it 5 stars was how 'easy' this chick made herself the guy in the book, i mean do any of these characters have morals. If I had a man that lied I would not treat it as lightly as she did. I like the ending. I like how the author is setting it up to a hint of another book to follow, I hope there are two possibly 3 more for the two sisters and one for the brother.

I enjoyed the sensuality level in this story very much and it flowed not only from the love scenes but from the various settings too. However, I didn't feel a great bond between the characters and it left me wondering if they would last past the year.
Overall a good read. Stephens certainly writes beautifully and I will definitely pick up her next one.

The storyline was a good one, but the story was a little flat. Left one feeling dissatisfied. Susan Stephens has done much better than this.
