On Going Romance Contemporary/Erotica Novella Series/Book 1
Hannah is trying her hardest to move on and let go. But she can't keep her mind, or heart from thinking about, him. She hasn't allowed another man to be intimate with her since him. She still loves him. BUT, she was betrayed by, HIM. Who, you ask is him? Him is named Tommy. Tommy was her almost step brother and secret lover until he betrayed her. She cut all ties with Tommy. She even moved to another state to get away from him. Hanna has also graduated from college. Hannah works at a restaurant and is a few weeks shy of making a move to New York. She wants to pursue her dream of becoming a writer. While working one day, she notices a beautiful, green eyed sex God from head to toe. She's instantly attracted to him. For the first time since Tommy, she's considering the thought of being with someone else. Preferably with this green eyed male of perfection. So when Lucas ( green eyed hottie) shows an interest in her, it's "GAME ON." Lucas' father is the owner of the restaurant Hannah works for. Even though it's frowned upon, Lucas is having a difficult time staying away from Hannah. Lucas has some other issues he's struggling with. His father is marrying a woman he obviously can't stand. She has a son he equally doesn't approve of. And her sons name is.................... Yep, must read to find out. I really enjoyed this novella. It's a pretty good intro to a new series. And the ending,.,.,.,.WOW! How do you say, "CLIFFHANGER?!!" I only gave it three stars for a couple of reasons. I thought the author kind of dove into their relationships too quickly. I would've liked to have read more of a build up. Add a little more flirting and interactions between them so I could decide who I prefer. Tommy or Lucas? I also thought the first two chapters flip flopped too much from past to present. It at times threw me off. But once you get past that, it's a pretty good read. And the ending, as I mentioned before, left me wanting more. I can't wait to read book two. Totally recommend. Please read.
