Seriously. You can’t have “his humanity melting away from him” until Ranger is just beast, and then have him reason and remember his past with his old pack and Maddox. I was willing to make allowances for the narrative to tell us what the people were saying outside the cage, even though clearly Ranger cannot comprehend the meaning at the time (except a little while later he kind of can), but this strange partial amnesia is pushing it way too far. The author has to make a choice there with what exactly she is trying to describe. This is idiotic – even more so than some other things I could list.

On the other hand, I do like the way the final crisis is resolved (on location, not the sex later). No silly heroics.

I suppose what I am clumsily trying to explain is that there’s an interesting core to this story. It’s a pity it gets bogged down by using sex as a remedy for or response to just about anything (although that’s not as bad as it has been) and a distinct lack of thinking things through (as apparent in many small phrases that just miss or contradict the point they are trying to make).

Still, if you’re in the market for something mindless and have no problem with bad editing/grammar, this might be a good choice.

Ranger I Love You!!!!
I have been waiting for his book forever. When I saw this was out, I didn't sleep until I got the book and finish it.
It took me 3 times to open and close the ebook to actually gather my courage and go thru with the reading. I was so freaking happy to have his book... And then... I was a little disapointed in the fact that Abraham was his mate.
The story in itself was really good but the love between them... I mean... I have to hold a candle to Ranger for not forgiving Abraham right away and to Abraham for the way he deals with Ranger until he is back to his former normal self.
What I loved about this book was the emotion behind it when Ranger was finally back home and in human form... I just... I love it because it felt so real.

Ranger! Al fin! Esperé mucho para conocer el final feliz de este chico, y las que tuvo que pasar para conseguirlo fueron bravas.
Desde el principio me parecía que entre Abram y Ranger había una chispa que indicaba mucho más que deseo y no me equivoqué, jaja.
No me pareció de lo mejor que Abram esperara hasta último momento para declararse, pero al igual que el lobo terminé comprendiendo su razonamiento respecto al anuncio.
Me encanta ver de a poquito un poco más del movimiento de la agencia y hay muchos de sus miembros de los cuales quisiera ver un final feliz, veremos que depara el futuro. Recomendable.

So i actually read the Federal Paranormal agency serie BEFORE the Silver bullet one (I know stupid, but this serie seemed more interesting), so when i read this book i liked it and i was sad that Ranger was denied his mate for a long time because i didn't know who Maddox was nor did i know exactly what happened BUT I just read the 6 first books a the Silver bullet serie and I HATE RANGER!!! The guy knew Maddox has a mate, he was friend with Maddox's mate, Maddox's mate entrusted him with his mate's safety (because Maddox was underage so the mate couldn't mate Maddox so Maddox was sent away to study in Europe) and when Maddo turned 18, Ranger fucked him knowing Maddox's mate was waiting for his mate and trusted Ranger to keep his mate safe so now... Ok he says he loves him but i don't care it's fucked up.

So hen i first read this book, i put 3 stars (and i will let them) but if i knew Ranger backstory when i put these stars i would i put one only because i don't want him to be happy, i hate betrayers!!!

Két kötet után úgy gondom, szeretni fogom ezt a sorozatot.
Ez alkalommal az FPA csapatunk vezére talált a párjára. Noha, már jó ideje tudta, hogy Ranger a párja ezt addig nem árulta el, míg a férfi hatalmas bajba nem keveredett.
Ugyanúgy, mint az első kötet, ez is túl rövid volt, ezért gyors tempót diktált.
A két főszereplőt nagyon megkedveltem és a nyomozás is izgalmas volt.
Nem mondom, hogy nem kaptam szívbajt, mikor Ranger másodszor is bajba került. Ideje lenne vigyáznia magára. :)
Kíváncsian várom a harmadik kötetet: a fülszöveg ígéretes.

This was intense but very sweet. I felt so bad for everything that Ranger had to go through from his past to the present. The feelings of the characters were well conveyed and the plot of the story had me on the edge of my seat. This was definitely an excellent and touching read.

Absolution

Abram and Ranger are FPA agents. Abram is the boss and Ranger is a new agent. These two have feelings for each other. But Abram keeps his scent hidden so Ranger does not know that Abram is his mate. Ranger has some problems that he needs to figure out and he does. Ranger ran into trouble and Abram realized he needed to let Ranger know that they are mates. Ranger was upset but understood why Abram did not tell him that they were mates. Everything works out and they let each other know that they love each other. I can not wait for the next book. Erin

Like a 2.5...I'm glad to see ranger find his real mate after that crazy situation with Maddox. That was so sad! But tbh this book just wasn't that great. Apparently ranger is either a really bad agent and needs a new job or he has extremely bad luck. I mean he almost dies in two major situations two days in a row! Instead of the second near death experience, I would have preferred the conflict be within their relationship. The fact that Abram hid the fact that they were mates is a major deal and ranger had every right to feel rejected but it was over so quickly. That was disappointing.

I've been waiting on Ranger's since everything went to hell in the Silver Bullet series. This book had taken me by surprise, after reading a couple of pages I realized I was reading "the" Ranger from Silver Bullet. Really loving this new series by Ms Black
