Not safe! Waited for this one for so long but what a disappointment! He sleeps with loads of ow after coming out of jail, so instead of going after the love of his life he sleeps around! She sleeps with another guy after ( good for her) and I just lost interest.

I really enjoyed the first book but this one was a headache, I hated the first half but loved the second half!
The hero (Noah) was perfect for me, he was really sweet & caring towards the heroine even though she acted like a child at times but he really did love her, he went out of his way to please her and even risked his own life!
What I hated the most is when the hero gets drugged by his step-sister’s friend (Reese), she ends up raping him while he is unconscious, I don’t understand why nothing was done about this! Noah reported it to the police and they laughed, in what world would the police actually laugh about rape?!
Another thing I hated is the fact that the heroine finds them both sleeping together and runs back to Ireland without getting an explanation, she thinks Noah cheated on her but he was drugged! Noah is in prison for 7 years but not once does the heroine go visit him to find out what really happened or to get an explanation, which really pissed me off because she claimed to love him but if she did love him then she could have at least asked him his side of the story! I really didn’t understand why the heroine was such a bitch, he was sent to jail and even when he got stabbed she didn’t even bother calling or sending him a letter, at this point I totally lost interest in the heroine and wanted to stop reading but I carried on because Noah was a sweetheart.
Overall, it was an okay read. Even though it got better towards the end, the damage was already done and I couldn't help but still dislike the heroine..

Reread 02.23.2023. - oh man… this book was crazy-making. I really despise long separations, and I extra despise it when authors make us live it with the MCs… and the first 40% of this book was going back and forth been the h and H’s misery during those years. Not fun at all. 😩
Then when they are finally on page again, it’s still another 45% of the H refusing to explain properly and the h refusing to admit she was wrong. I was ready to shake these two! FINALLY we get somewhere around 85% when they admit they want to be together and the H goes hulk smash when confronted with the h’s ONS. I mean… I know this will piss a lot of readers off, but maaaaannn…. I loved it. I loooove an irrational epic jealous/possessive melt down by the H. Love. And my beast Noah did not disappoint. 🤣🤣💕💕💕
There’s a lot in this book that bugged me. The fact that he planned to come back for her the entire time but still slept with groupies was a hard pill to swallow. I just don’t get it. She does ask about it when he’s losing his sh*t over her one sexual encounter with OM in the 7 years they were apart… and I do understand his explanation, but it still irked me.
Also, she knows he’s been plowing his way through the groupies but doesn’t question him going in bare with her. I kept expecting one of them to bring up safety, but they didn’t. They both acknowledge in their own heads that she could get pregnant, but no thought to disease… he seems to do the condom thing by rote, and that’s reassuring, but I wish he’d been more explicit with the whole, “I’ve only gone bare with you” or whatever… it just feels a like a miss with a hero this protective. 🤷🏼♀️. **UPDATE: they do discuss safety early in the next book - he does say he’s never gone bare with anyone and confirms his health status****
And it really bothered me that Noah never places blame on the jealous bitches that caused so much heartache. Why isn’t he furious at them? Those girls seemed to have gotten off without any comeuppance or repercussions… and they completely blew up the MC’s lives. I don’t understand this. I suppose we might see something in the next book, but 7 years later, we’re so removed from the situation, it wouldn’t hit quite right to revisit at this point.. I dunno… I just wanted Noah’s rage to be directed at people who caused them so much pain and not so much on the h who was just as much a victim as he was.
Anyway, I see that the first time I read this I gave it 4-stars, but I’m gonna reduce it to 3.5. Too many negatives to give it 4 stars. I still enjoyed the rage read and Noah losing his ever loving mind. It’s worth it just to witness the alpha tantrum. 😈🤣🤣🤣🤡

Re-read with no regrets!
Just as I finished TREACHEROUS again after all these years, I gobbled it up this time around as well, not yet full enough of NOAH! I had to revisit one of my all time favorite young adult ALPHA MALES, the cougar I am has no shame. *wink*

This was an insane kind of love.
One I never thought I would have.
God, i think that i became for once again an addict...
And Noah Messina is my new fuckin' GOD!!!
I loved him so much in his teenage years, but at his 25, he is stunning!!!
The thing is that i don't know how i will survive without the next book, but thank God that this story didn't have the mother of the cliffys as the previous book!!!
Yep, there are lot things to get solved and lots of bad people that are after them, but as the things ended, i have hope for them...
But that doesn't mean, Chloe, that i don't need the next book ASAP!!!
"“I will always want you, Teagan… There will always be a way back for us…”
First of all, i have to say that i was devastated after the finale of the first book...
Noah was facing time in jail and Teagan abandoned him and flew away to Ireland with Hope.
Yep, she had her reasons, but for once again she was a judgemental stubborn bitch who reacted without knowing the real facts...
Yep, if you didn't get it, i was fuckin' furious with Teagan...
And then the epilogue went 7 years later and Teagan and Noah were apart for all this time...
I lost my shit!!! I really lost it!!!
The good thing with the second book was that it was splitting in two parts...
The first one was seven years before when all those "incidents" happened and how life was both our heroes all those years that were passing by...
And the second part was the present and Noah's presence back in Teagan's life...
"I needed to fight for this.
I needed to fight for us."
To be honest with you the first part was so difficult to me...
It torned me apart again and again...
Every chapter and new tears...
I couldn't accept what was happening...
I couldn't bare the pain that our heroes were feeling...
I couldn't think about how unfair were the terms that they were living...
Noah lost Teagan the time that he needed her the most...
Noah was convicting to 5,5 years sentence and Teagan had abandoned him alone...
He was hurting by his love for her and he was changing as the days were passing...
He was determined to take her back, even though that in the process, he got really angry with the way that she abandoned him...
"She saw the real me.
That’s why it hurt so fucking bad. I swear to god, nothing had ever hurt me like she had.
Now my anger was all I had.
My anger and my thirst for revenge."
Teagan was back in Ireland and she was trying to get the broken pieces of her heart back together...
She was also devastated without Noah but she was stubborn as always...
She believed that Noah betrayed her and she couldn't pass by that!!!
She was refusing to spell his name and speak about him, but her heart was refusing to get on with her life without him...
And that's why i was so mad at her... She didn't treat Noah right and she was refusing to back up a little... She was acting like a brat...
But at the same time, i was feeling so sad for her... She was loving him and she was alouding to her pride to get in the way...
“I’m still in love him, Hope…even though he’s dangerous and wrong for me and broke my heart for kicks,” I choked out. “He’s the love of my life.” Tears spilled down my cheeks. “He is everything and I love him…all the time. It won’t go away. I am stuck in a never-ending cycle of loving him, losing him, missing him, hating him, mourning him, waiting for him, and caring. It won’t stop and I can’t claw my way out. I feel like I am dying.”
And then came the present day and those two meet each other again, after seven years apart and it was like the things were continuing from where they left...
They started to fight and scream and hit each other... and at the same time, they couldn't ignore the pull they had at each other... Honestly, guys, that "love" was toxic... but it was so exciting to witness it...
Noah and Teagan had lots of unresolved issues to deal...
Will they manage to find their way back to each other or is it too late for them???

How could he do this; walk back into my world and automatically become the most important person in it? {Teagan}

I loved Noah!!! I really do!!!
He is so intense, so raw, so real...
He knows what he wants and he is determined to fight for it...

Teagan was a feisty little thing as always...
She didn't have too much trust to others and after Noah's betrayal, she became even worse in that part... Noah was treacherous and she had to remember that!!!
I think that Teagan is the most frustrating and stubborn creature on the planet...
Honestly, Noah had too much patience or just his love for her was too big and that's why he continue to deal with her shits...
But to be honest, in the both books, i loved Teagan when she was leaving her stubborness aside and she was accepting her love for Noah...
Then, she were the most amazing and loyal person in the planet... When she was opening her heart, she was never giving up the fight...
“I know I’ve screwed everything up. I get it, but you need to understand that your life terrifies me, Noah,” I cried out. “Your choices, your history, your mood swings, and how you make me feel all scare me to death. You terrify me, Noah!...
But when I’m with you, I feel safe, and alive, and like I belong. You do that to me,” I told him. “You bring those emotions out of me. No one else.”
As for the secondary characters???
I hated uncle Max... He was so unfair and judgemental asshole!!!
I hated Liam... This fucker!!!
I loved Kyle and Lee so much and damn, i have to read their own books!!!
I loved Hope and i honestly wants her story too...
Jordan, what the hell did you do to this girl???
The triplets are always adorable, but Low is the perfect man...
Sean was very cute as well!!!
And Lucky!!!! This man!!!! I'm so happy that he was beside my boy when noone was around him!!!

Second chance love trope. Oh the yearning. It’s so easy to long for happiness for these characters. Boxer/Fighter MMC. Unalive threats. Super slow burn. I loved this one. Binged it! On to book 3!

2⭐️ Even though Teagan behaved like a deraged, immature brat with fewer brain cells than a monkey, I still very much enjoyed reading the first half of the book. I loved seeing what their lives looked like during their 7 year separation. And I felt so sorry for Noah, because he deserved so much better from Teagan. Even if she was under the impression of him being unfaithful to her, she could have at least tried to hear him out, to hear his side of the story instead of jumping to conclusions and ghosting him for years on end.
So yeah, I felt really sorry for Noah UNTIL🤬☝️ until I reached the part where he was released from prison and started whoring around while building his career. He claimed to have always loved her, he said she was his Thorn, that he couldn’t be without her, that no matter what he was always coming back for her. So why then, am I seeing him having sex with all these random women and kissing them on Tv for Teagan to see? I get that they weren’t a couple at the time, but it still made me so mad. To an extent, I did understand why he behaved a certain way, why he felt so betrayed, I did!! Teagan behaved immaturely and simply left him alone in a time when he needed her the most, but STILL, he could have gone directly to her after being released from prison, instead of waiting another year and a half. What even was the purpose for that?
Normally, I would have dnf‘ed a book like this, but I simply need to finish their story. I have to know how it all ends.
Having said all that, I still liked the fact that the fmc is the one that needs to grovel for once, because in today’s society it’s always the man that needs to grovel as if women never do anything wrong or toxic. 😒 Authors love to always put the women on a pedestal and have the mmc behave atrociously just so he has to grovel on hands and knees. So I do like that part, I just wish Teagan behaved in a more age appropriate way. She is constantly screaming and in a rage when something isn’t to her liking and she has the common sense of a 6 year old. I hate her and I don’t think Chloe Walsh will be able to redeem her character in my eyes, but like I said, I need to see how their story ends.

Teagan behaved immaturely and simply left him alone in a time when he needed her the most, but STILL, he could have gone directly to her after being released from prison, instead of waiting another year and a half. What even was the purpose for that?
Normally, I would have dnf‘ed a book like this, but I simply need to finish their story. I have to know how it all ends.
Having said all that, I still liked the fact that the fmc is the one that needs to grovel for once, because in today’s society it’s always the man that needs to grovel as if women never do anything wrong or toxic. 😒 Authors love to always put the women on a pedestal and have the mmc behave atrociously just so he has to grovel on hands and knees. So I do like that part, I just wish Teagan behaved in a more age appropriate way. She is constantly screaming and in a rage when something isn’t to her liking and she has the common sense of a 6 year old. I hate her and I don’t think Chloe Walsh will be able to redeem her character in my eyes, but like I said, I need to see how their story ends.

This is the continuation of the book Treacherous. Noah is sent to prison and Teagan has taken her broken heart and gone back to Ireland.
I just didn't enjoy this book as much as the first book. I was definitely hooked throughout the whole book. I couldn't put it down because I was waiting for that moment when they would FINALLY be together again.
The book built anticipation that is for sure, for almost the first 50% of the book he is still in prison. And the more time that went by the more irritated I was with Teagan. I realize she was hurt by what she saw, but after she had a little time to cool down why didn't she go to him and demand answers? It ticks me off because she really did just abandon him! She had doubts, if she just would have followed her gut, so much pain could have been avoided. So I ended up really feeling for Noah.
BUT I stopped feeling for him when he got out of prison. He said before he left that Teagan was his and he would go get her. But the year he was out of prison, building his career, before going to get her, he had no problem whoring it up and shoving it in her face since he was a rising celebrity in the fighting circuit. That ticked me off so much. Especially when he was furious that she slept with one other person, one time, after seeing him making out with a girl on tv. How can he be mad at her when he was planning on coming back to her and STILL sleeping with a bunch of other women? How can he be mad when he gives interviews saying he was in a relationship once and that it was the biggest mistake of his life? How can he be mad that she tried to move on when he gave no indication that he would ever want anything to do with her again? That all just made me so mad! Don't you hate that? You know, when you're all jazzed up for the second book and nothing gets juicy until the end?? Well this book suffered from a bad case of the "blah! blah! blah's!!!"
This was a really disappointing follow up from the second book. It just when on and on about their uneventuful lives before they meet up again 5 years later. But what I disliked the most her was the heroine for me. She was just way too annoying and sort of lackluster for me. Her life seems completely devoid of anything cheerful and she seemed to have no passion for anything but her misery... FOR 5 DAMN YEARS!!!
Meanwhile, the hero, who took his fistful of betray like a champ, and managed to serve time and fight his way to being one of the top MMA (or whatever) fighters during their estrangement. Noah rocks!!
In conclusion, this book should have been about 2 thirds shorter. And it should have had a lot more life filler then the inner monologuing of a heartsick girl. You didn't even feel as though there were any significant difference between the US and Ireland. And there were no indication of the heroine changing physically or otherwise. And when they finally meet again, It's disappointing to realize she did not mature one iota!! BOO!

First off in really miffed this ended on a cliff hanger. I was really looking forward to this story and hate it when h and h hook up with other people during their separation. I'm glad they are together again it just felt like a whole book of drama mixed in with other people when they could have sorted their problems out ages ago. If you love someone surely no one else will do. I was dissapointed in Noah for going off with other women so easily.

So Worth the Wait!
This book continued where the first ended and allowed us readers to fully understand what happened in the background to Noah and Teagan in Treacherous to cause them to separate and hold grudges against each other for years. In Thorn, the character's evolved, the passion grew hotter and more explosive, new issues appear and a reunion between to lovers drew them closer together. I highly recommend this as a must read and can't wait for the last book!

Possibly the most difficult review I've ever done
Not because it's difficult to tell you how fantastic this book is but simply because I don't want to give any spoilers. The joy of Chloe Walsh's book is that they are gritty and you never feel like there's a guaranteed HEA, but providing you've read Treacherous this is definitely a book worth reading, just keep the tissues handy.

Couldn't put it down, lapped it up from page 1.
A must that you read the first book "Trecherous" as this picks up and carries on the story of Noah and Teagan and their fight to find each other.

I've been waiting for this for months and Chloe didn't disappointment! It's a sequel so I suggest you read Treacherous.
It's full of angst, heartache and love. You'll be spinning by the end from the fast paced emotions it causes.
All the characters are well written and deeper than most stories I've read. I definitely recommend this and all of Chloes books.

Arrrggghhhh, cliffy, beware! I loved it as much as the first one. Second chance romance, although the main reason it's a second chance romance is just freaking retarded. Come on Teagan, after all the shit you went through in the first book, you can't get over this stupid conflict. Poor Noah,,, I felt very bad for him. I love you dude.

I was so conflicted about rating this book because I really really liked it but Teagan really really annoyed me here so I think a 3.5⭐️ is fair. To say that I’m addicted to this story is an understatement. I’ve listened to both books in a day because I just can’t stop and now will be jumping to the next one with no break.
The plot here was great. Chloe knows how to write a good plot and I was completely invested. Even though the plot takes place 7 years later, we still see peace’s of Noah’s life in prison and Teagan trying to move on.
Noah’s development on this book was beautiful. He really grew up, even though he had his immature moments I really liked how he was betrayed and he learned from his mistakes. His protectiveness is adorable and even though he wanted to hate her he knew he couldn’t stay away from her and that he was going to get her at the end.
Teagan is a completely different story. I excused her behavior in the first book because she was still a child but this book takes place 7 years later. You would expect her to grow up but she didn’t. She annoyed me so many times, made the same mistakes over and over again and couldn’t have an adult conversation.
That brings me to the miscommunication part of this book. I understand that sometimes miscommunication happens and even love some well done miscommunication in a book. But here it was overdone.
This book, just like the first, is very toxic. If you want to read it thinking that it would just be another “Boys of Tommen” story, I don’t recommend it. I would go as far as saying, this is the opposite of it. However, it is still beautiful, it is still a good plot and I can’t wait to continue the series.
