Marvel counts among its characters such well-known properties as Spider-Man, Iron Man, the X-Men, Wolverine, the Hulk, the Fantastic Four, Captain America, Daredevil, Thor, the Sub-Mariner, the Punisher, Ghost Rider, Doctor Strange, and the Silver Surfer; antagonists such as Dr. Doom, the Green Goblin, Dr. Octopus, Venom, Magneto, Sabretooth, Galactus, the Red Skull, the Kingpin, and Bullseye; and others. The comic book arm of the company started in 1939 as Timely Publications, and by the early 1950s had generally become known as Atlas Comics. Marvel's modern incarnation dates from 1961, with the company later that year launching Fantastic Four and other superhero titles created by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, and others. Marvel has since become the largest American comic book publisher, surpassing its longtime competitor DC Comics.

The book was really awesome there was so many different things going on like the future, aliens, the past and there is just so many things going on.Also another thing that i liked about the book is there were multiple hero's not just one but 3 and 1 hero would be really boring but 3 means there was a lot of things going on.

Aimed at younger readers, the Marvel Adventures line is in a lot of ways the most fun version of the Marvel Universe out there, and this series is a perfect example of why. Every story is just Hulk, Spider-Man, and Iron Man hanging out and having wacky adventures -- it's like classic Silver Age stories with snappy, contemporary dialogue. But that doesn't mean that the stories are "dumbed down" for kids; one of the best of the four stories here is one where they come across a former supervillian who wants to become a country music star -- at first, they're suspicious, but he's legit, and THEY'RE the ones who make the situation worse, and they're willing to own up to it.
But mostly it's about stuff like three guys trying to dogsit for Cerberus. And that's more than okay.

This comic is brilliant in its absurdity. It's laugh out loud funny, well written and has some of the sweetest portrayals of Hulk and Iron Man I've seen. The art is lovely and vibrant, a perfect match to the stories.

I liked it.

This was entirely hilarious and vaguely adorable. Highlights include: Iron Man as the chew toy of Cerberus (repeatedly), and Kang the Conquerer: Conquerer of potato chips.

I love the Marvel Adventures series. They're so fun to read when you need a break from the super serious storylines (or the horrible, soul-crushing ones Civil War, I'm talking to you).
