[Siren The Lynn Hagen ManLove Erotic Alternative Paranormal Romance, M/M, vampires, HEA] When Christo asks Van for a favor, Van has no idea what he's getting himself into. He's sent to Black Diamonds to gather intel on the Vittore brothers--three vampires known for their cruelty and violence. He has no love for vampires and even less for the three brothers--Mayhem, Chaos, and Fury. But nothing is ever as simple as it seems and the longer Van is held captive, the more he sees that Mayhem is not the darkness and death everyone has claimed him to be. But one of Mayhem's brothers wants Van dead. Mayhem has to not only protect Van from his sibling, but unbeknownst to him, Fury has just kidnapped a mate who belongs to one of the deadly twins. ** A Siren Erotic Romance
Lynn Hagen loves writing about the somewhat flawed, but lovable. She also loves a hero who can see past all the rough edges to find the shining diamond of a beautiful heart.
You can find her on any given day curled up with her laptop and a cup of hot java, letting the next set of characters tell their story.
Well, I delved into the Bracverse a 2nd time and now there are 121 books - yikes! I loved this Universe the first time I read it several years ago and now I love it more, I really do, but I've only been able to read these series (and I have expanded to all the books that are currently out in each): Brac Pack Christian's Coven Zeus's Pack Demon Warriors The Exiled
These are the series that start the Universe. Reading them in order is a must. Each book has it's own love story but there is an underlying story that plays out throughout them all. As you get towards the end of these series, other series come into play and I noticed that, since I did not read them, I missed some of the characters being mentioned (good and bad) but I was still able to follow because the main ones stay the same.
One day I WILL buy these and read them all!!! (For the correct order, just look on the Internet for Lynn Hagen Reading Order): Brac Village Shadow Tribe BPNG (Brac Pack Next Generation - Brac Pack kids) The Remus Brothers Wolves of Desire

So ridiculous that within minutes of walking into the club he’s sold, not even put in a waiting area with others even though the bidders were already assembled so there had to be others.
It’s so dumb that Mayhem won’t just tell them the truth.
Van was in the room when it was said loudly that he was Mayhem’s mate. He lives with vampires and knows what that means but he’s oblivious?
The only woman is a servant even though she too is a vampire. Argh!
Six months is nothing to a vampire who’s lived a millennium and a half.
Me gustó muchísimo este libro, pero el final fue tan triste, mi corazón se rompió y sólo pude llorar. Espero que Chaos pueda superar la tristeza y encontrar felicidad en su vida...

Rating: 2 stars Christian’s Coven is my least favorite series in the Brac Universe so far and this is the worst book in that series. I just could not suspend my disbelief enough to buy into the fact that Van fell in love with Mayhem at all not to mention so quickly. Literally, one minute Van hated him and next he was in love. I just didn’t buy it. Also, there is the fact that Mayhem and his brothers were just unlikeable. All in all, not a good book.
I have VERY mixed feelings about this. Mayhem was HORRIBLE to his mate. Treated like crap and basically terrorized. Mayhem is just totally nonchalant for quite a bit longer than I would have thought, considering that Van is is MATE and they are supposed to be programmed for protecting mate at any cost among other things. Made it hard to feel the connection that should be there growing between them.
Beyond that, the Blackheart character...I don't remember a lot about him besides that he's the most worrisome escapee from the underground. And the results of this interaction actually surprised me.
I also felt like Christo was emasculated a bit by being so easily bitten by Chaos and he's not even worried about any possible ramifications of his little altercation with Chaos.
The ending felt forced to me I'm going to have to go with a good 2.5 possibly 3
I just love this author. I think i own every book thats been written. Mayhem, Chaos and Fury. I thought oh good some new blood. Leading to more stories yippie. Van goes on a spy mission for Christos that ends up going wrong. Van gets sold and the buyer turns out to be Mayhem, his mate. Mayhem has no idea what to do with Van. But he knows he cant let him go. Van has no idea Mayhem is his mate and ends up being pretty scared of Mayhem for a good chunck of the story. When Fury tried to seduce Van, the story changes from Van loathing his mate to loving him.
I was sad and supprised over what happened to Fury. I was hoping there would be more to come from him. He was a lost soul and it would have been nice for him to find his mate and happiness once more. Not like Lynn to kill off the "good" guys.
Looking forward to the next book.

I have read and reread the Brac pack, Demon Warriors, Christian's Coven series several times. Tis is a favorite. Van is the human brother of one of the Mates in the Coven and is sent to spy on the Vittore brothers. Auctioned off at BDSM club, he becomes the property of Mayhem Vittore. And the Mate. Mayhem has to figure out how to love Van, while keeping his brothers away from the human. There is a HEA but they have to work for it.
I say touching because of fury's death, because I had hopes he would've had a story. It had me emotionally upset at his passing. Other than that it was a really great read and as usual lynn did a great job.
I loved this book. There were so much going on in Van and Mayhem's life. These two went through so much and fell in love despite everything. I can not wait to see if their is another book after this one. Erin
Love how all the worlds are combining in these books, from brac Zeus demons Christians coven and the winged beasts, now for the new installments with the children, thank you lynn hagen <3 thoroughly enjoy
I enjoyed this story. I know feeling trapped and desperate can lead to many venues unexpected. The vampire showed growth which i liked. The human had also learned that not everyone should be judged under the same umbrella.
Not your best it's like you yourself has grown bored of writing this series it just getting old I love your books but u need a new series a fresh start
This was a sad book, from the first meeting of Mayhem and Van to the final page. The story is a bittersweet love story riddled with underlying emotional pain.
I was significantly enjoying this romance (mating) with Mayhem and Van as mates since they spent a lot of the time together with emotions running high all over the place, exactly the way I like it, but then the end came and my heart was broken. This story was executed considerably well because I was definitely feeling for these characters. I couldn't stop my tears from falling and I hate to cry, especially for this reason, which I won't summarize. As a whole, it had an astounding storyline that was tragically touching and bittersweet.
