The book was totally awesome. Ian Anwell always thought he would be alone with no one to love or love him back until he meet Kristina Richards. They both had a world win of love and hardship of trusting each other. But they finally learned how to trust each, other and no matter what was thrown at them, they also worked through it together. Ian always lived as a recovering addict but he had Kristina with him so he would not go back to the bad stuff. Kristina is his pride and joy as his girlfriend and loved her so much that he went one day with out her, his life meant nothing to him. As she felt the same about him. Then the accident happened on the way home from the cabin, he thought he lost her for ever, and didn't remember seeing her truck go off the road. But he went and found her, and told her that he was glad she was alive and he missed her so much. But with her injuries she thought he would never love her again, so he had to prove her wrong, no matter what she looked like, it was what is inside her, he loved the most. I would love to see what happens next.

Silk: Volume 1 - 4 stars
This is just a beginning so I highly recommend having all 4 stories to read!
What will happen when Ian suddenly become obsessed with Kristina just with seeing her n the screen? Will there be something more or just primal fascination?
I would love to see more of Ian's thinking - but not only about sex, but about how he feels in general, as obsession can be SO powerful!
Still really nice reading.

Silk: Volume 2 - 5 stars
This book starts almost right after book 1.
We get to know what Ian and Kristina are feeling after her running away due to the scene that was written by Ian to the Silk. They both struggle to live without each other, but will they manage to do it? Will be that addiction put away in the matter of time?
Let's add to it: lies, mistrust, love, huge addiction, different plans of Kristina and Ian.
But will Ian be able to allow Kristina to go to Vancouver for filming and would be able to forgive her lies?

Silk: Volume 3 - 5 stars
That one blew my mind! We have here: add an addition to someone you love, add an addition to heroin and love that will right about it.
Let's add to it one night mistake done by Kristina - will one night stand be the end of Ian and Kristina's love?
This one was really exciting!

Silk: Volume 4 - 5 stars
Emotions are so high here. Will Kristina manage to get Ian back, even when finding him wasn't that easy? They got back together in the middle of the huge blizzard! During their way home had happened an accident that left both of them broken and scared about what will he or she think about them in that state. Kristina hides in Sienna's home - will she manage to forget about the accident and what happened after it?
Check it out in great last part of this serial!

I’ve been a fan of KM Scott since reading Crash Into Me. I love her writing and the steam, the plot and the strong love between the hero and heroine in her books. I think this series is very unique and erotic. I love the meaning behind the title. My favorite part was part 3, because it was raw and realistic. My least favorite part was part 2, because I didn’t like Kristina there. In part 4 were the most romantic and emotional conversations.

This series tells us about Ian and Kristina’s love story. Ian is a bestselling author and he writes historical fiction novels. He is easily addicted to things, like drugs, alcohol, sex or persons. He has been to rehab a couple times and hasn’t touched drugs for a couple months now. On one drunken night, he’s watching the tv and is fascinated with an actress named Kristina. He watches all her movies in one night and the next day he wants to meet her. Kristina has always been a fan of Ian’s books and would love to meet him. They meet at a bar and that’s the start of their turbulent love story.

I love Kristina and Ian, but there are also a few amazing secondary characters. Sheila is the agent of Ian and she’s actually also his friend. She always supports him, but she also pushes him with his writing. She’s always there for him, ready to help or listen. Sienna is the best friend of Kristina and also an actress. She’s always there for her and gives her advice. She wants Kristina to be happy.

There are lots of twists and turns, some you expect and some you don’t expect. Even in the last part, near the end, there’s a twist that I didn’t see coming at all. Ian and Kristina definitely have their ups and downs. Their relationship isn’t always easy and they both make mistakes, but they love each other very much and want to fight for each other. I really loved them together.

The only thing I wanted, was an epilogue. I loved the last chapter of part 4, but I wanted to know more about their future. They had been through so much and even though they were happy and in love at the end, I just wanted more.

I loved these books, all of them. KM Scott is a great writer. You fully understand what the character are doing through and what they are feeling. You get drawn into the characters and are always waiting to see what happens next. Ian and Kristina both have their flaws but they can't stay away from each other. This story is about love, obsession, guilt and regret. Yes there is a happy ending I am happy to say, but oh what a rollercoaster ride to get there. You won't want to put it down once you start.

It was ok

It was not as climactic as I had hoped it would be. But, nonetheless, it was still readable. I would say it was a sweet, erotic love story. Just wish it had a little more action in the plot.

Ian and Kristina were weighed down with so much of life and their story, although had its share of angst, was wonderful. A powerful set that progressively got better with each book. A romance that inspire many! Provided by author in exchange for an honest review.

Liked it overall. Think Ian is a bit of a knob and our fair heroine is very insecure. Writing was good, characters a bit shallow, plot ok, epilogue good.
