Stepbrother Prince, Part 1

Rate this book
What if Cinderella’s prince was her stepbrother…and he was anything but charming?

I used to be an ordinary small-town girl, working day and night just to make ends meet. But then my mother married the king and my life changed forever.

Now, I had a stepbrother prince. He was beautiful and sexy, really charming with everyone. But with me, he was a controlling jerk.

God, I hated him, and I thought he hated me back…until the prince showed me hate was just another form of love.

I'm not quite sure how I feel about the prince/stepbrother in this book. I think I need to read the rest of the series to determine if he is a good guy or not. The story is very short and only took half an hour to read.
The prince appears to have inappropriate feelings towards his new stepsister, Ella and it appears that Ella has the same feelings for the prince. It will be interesting to see if they get together or if she is just a play thing for him.

A good quick read but it will leave you wondering what happens next.

its short and a very quick read but it was free and I figure i'd give it a try.

it started out okay but quickly lost me when I realized that she always calls him 'Prince' she never uses his name and yet she lets him do as he pleases to her.

there was no real build up to the actual story but I was able to finish it in under an hour. I do think that if there was just more to the actual story it would be a better book.

One day when I'm bored I think I'm going to go through each book and count the number of times they say 'stepbrother prince'.

Spoilers!

What's it all about?
Ella’s mother married a King and now has a new stepbrother who is a prince. She fights her feelings for him until he makes her cave in.

The sad part about this story is that is literally all I have to give to its description.

The Best Parts:
I couldn’t find anything redeeming about this book which is sad because I love the Cinderella story, but this one didn’t even feel like it was anything. There were too many flips of character personalities between Ella and the prince. There was also a lot of grammar and technical errors that needed to be fixed.

The Worst Parts:
This story is just a story. There isn’t any substance to what is going on. There is no character development at all, and the characters are dull considering there is only two with a few other people that only get mentioned. All this story focuses on is the sex that never happens until Part 2, and even then all the sexual actions are on the prince’s part. Also, the prince doesn’t even have a name. No one but Ella and Prince Michael have a name.

One thing that I found disturbing was that when Ella and the prince were in a compromising situation the prince pushed too far. Ella was a virgin and basically all but told her that she WOULD give that to him. He forced her into each sexual act until she caved. Even when she said NO he still went on. I felt very uncomfortable with reading this, but finished just to see where it would go.

Final thoughts ...
I accidentally clicked on this book and got it for free, so I said why not just read it. I will not be reading Part 2, and recommend that the author go through and expand on the story. It could be good if they actually tried harder. I know this all sounds harsh, but it’s my honest opinion.
