Arrrrrgggggggh. Yeah, so an alien cloud comes to earth and makes people have visions therefore somehow driving the world to anarchy, which makes no sense but the author beats us over the head with it, continuously. Our hero, and his crew of humans and spider aliens and cenataurs flys off to contact wierd wanktastic races, such as, buddhist slug people, geometric anaytical mineral people, and some enlightened greek gods each which give him a series of super powers and makes him into a god. fin. It was a miserably bad piece of hippy spitual sci-fi geekery.

This is probably one of Wold's first books, of those I can find. It's a relatively decent story, rather like Dickson's "Hour of the Horde" but internal rather than external. It's a short read.
