Claire Llewellyn is a prize-winning author of non-fiction for young readers – in 1991, she was shortlisted for the prestigious TES Junior Information Book Award for Take One: Rubbish – and in 1992, she won that award for My First Book of Time. A great book that involves dinosaurs sending a help letter in to Dr k.fisher for him to respond with some dinosaur facts, e.g - diplodocus asks about its weight and gets the response that involves how much they normally weigh, how big they are, about their predictors and do so on. This funny layout leaves children with lots of facts that they don’t realise they’re learning
