Bookcases: from Salvage to Storage: 14 DIY Designer Projects

Rate this book
14 original bookcase projects with step by step instructions and inspirational features to help you find the one that best suits you Bookshelves showcase our favorite books and most treasured objects, are useful and practical—but, far from reducing them to their simplest function, we love that they reflect our style and individuality, becoming design features in their own right and, yet, harmoniously fitting into our living spaces. They are also relatively easy to make and accessible to everyone. No need to be an experienced handyman to realize these original designs: this book presents 14 creations with step-by-step photos, plans, and technical tips. And for inspiration, Aurélie Drouet peruses some of the more ambitious library, and bookcase, projects by leading designers and architects.

Menghayal dulu sajalah. Punyanya kapan2

Prolific bookcase projects that are suitable for luxury living than the general public. Remind me of recycling initiatives that have become higher level of DIY projects.

Easy read and bite-sized information that can be picked up from the book. Book lovers love their bookcases for certainty.

This was not the book I thought it would be. I was hoping for ideas I could do on a budget that were creative. Instead I got ideas that either were not able to be duplicated, or would cost more than a pricey shelf made by a wood worker. Pretty coffee table book, but not good for a DIY.

I love repurposing things, finding new ways to brighten stuff up and trying to recycle materials before discarding and I LOVE books, so this really appeals. Lots of fun and quirky ideas to suit most tastes and budgets, with plenty of instruction, photos and tips.
