This book is an easy read and can be used to discuss recycling. The story uses all the characters from Sesame Street which children will be able to identify with. I liked that it made recycling important so the children can learn to take care of the earth.

I adore this book because of how easily it presents important information to young learners. This book shares many ways readers can help the world, all with detailed illustrations. The easy to understand language will ensure that children can learn the basics of how to be environmentally aware.

Although this is a children's book (so not always reviewed here) I'm adding a review because I thought this was really good! I read it to my preschooler and school aged children and it went beyond the normal "recycle" it mantra and gave specific examples of what we (or kids) can easily do to help our earth. Would definitely recommend if you have an audience of young children!

Children learn about recycling and energy conservation in one of their science units in 2nd and 3rd grade. I would use this book as a hook for one of the lesson openers, or as a review of the unit.
