Dear God, the virgin wolfie had already slayed me, and this time, the sexy vampire bodyguard proved he was capable of doing exactly what I knew he would: Ruin me for other book boyfriends;-)
Becky's two possesive suitors continue to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that you don't have to be the biggest, baddest, badass alpha to take your female to the very brink of sexual pleasure... and beyond. *Where is my freaking fan?* Let's just say that Ross was veeeery motivated to show that he could do a lot better on the sexual scale than a measly 9.
With Zane suitably pussy whipped by Tanya, Ross wasted no time breaking every vampire rule in the book, much to my delight. That a careless mention of human pussy got Zane in a bit of trouble, suited me just fine as well! *Giggle*.
Of course, relationship phobic Becky is about to have an even bigger conflict on her hand than Tanya. Neither male is about to back down from what will surely be Sweetwater's supernatural fight of the century. Let's just hope they don't maim each other's... too badly in the process;-)
Along with Ross & Becky's little escapades, we get a glimpse of what will most likely be the next couple; Xavier and his elf princess. Something is most definitely up with the pointy-eared schemers. (Oh yes, and hopefully, Griffin will get "special dispensation" to venture beyond the land of oral pleasuring only as well. Get that petition out of the way, once and for all! There are a lot of horny human females out there! And these male vamps aim to please!)

TWO'S COMPANY, THREE'S A CROWD ???? HMMM.....
WOWZA! OMG! I love it! His Last is the second book in the exhiliarating new Unlikely Mates series by Charlene Hartnady and she has totally delivered another knockout in the second round! I'm just so excited, I can hardly stand myself right now. And just why am I so excited you ask? Well, I have been waiting for Becky to have her own series since she was first introduced as Tanya's over-sexed best friend in Charlene's debut hit series, Chosen by the Vampire Kings and it was well worth the wait! OMG! Charlene has totally knocked it out of the park! Another Homerun! Yes, Charlene has amazing talent. Yes, she has an astounding imagination. And yes she has incredible skill but it's her unique ability to draw her reader into the story and make the magic and fantasy come to life and become so real as we become immersed in the worlds and the characters she has created for us. And the characters - they seem to capture not only our imagination but our hearts as well. It's rather hard to explain but I'll give it a try. In some books, it's obvious that all the characters are created by the same person but with Charlene's characters, they take on a life of their on, as if they were created by totally different people. They live, breath and have their own distinct mannerisms and personalities. It is so exhilarating and refreshing. You never know what to expect from her characters and that's what makes her writing so remarkably entertaining and satisfying. To sum it up, always expect the unexpected because Charlene never fails to deliver quite a few surprises. Is it obvious that I am captivated by Charlene's writing and enamored with this series? Most assuredly! This story is exciting, original, imaginative, well developed, thrilling, riveting, enchanting, romantic, arousing, sensual and always lots of action, in and out of the sheets. Just a little humor, folks! The dialogue is smart, sassy, intelligent, inventive, very well written and flows effortlessly. The characters are fascinating, captivating, intriguing, endearing, engaging, sexy as sin and at times, down right hilarious. I was laughing so hard, I frightened my Shih Tzu, Christina! She must have thought I was having a seizure! Charlene expertly combines these elements into an exquisite paranormal tale full of romance, humor, suspense, adventure and fantasy. Dr Becky was able to successfully deliver Stephany and Ward's twin pups, yes I said twin pups, at the end of Stolen by the Alpha Wolf Series which was nothing short of a miracle since Stephany is a vampire and was told she could never birth a child and to further complicate the complicated, Ward is not a vampire, he's a wolf and not just any wolf but the alpha wolf! What? Well, just a little of the back story but that's all covered in Charlene's second hit series, Stolen by the Alpha Wolf. Dr Becky was so disappointed - no she was hurt. Nope, that doesn't describe it either. She was down right furious at the way the vampires had behaved toward Stephany, Ward and his men, and in her office no less. She was through with them. No vampires for her - not any more. (Hmm....No??? Maybe yes???) She has now decided that she wants to have sex with a shifter, mainly one wolf shifter named Rushe and he is the cat's meow or should I say the wolf's howl, Yep he has it all! Now, if she can just get him to show her that eight pack he carries under his shirt, everything will be perfect! Becky agrees to travel to Ward's camp and stay to look after Stephany and the tiny twin pups for a few days, and if she plays her cards right, she may be able to persuade Rushe to have a one time hookup with her. Heck, she'd only been with one guy since her divorce and that was just as much a disaster as her marriage. Nope, no more relationships for her. She would concentrate on just her career. She didn't have time for a human nor a shifter. She just needed an orgasm not a mate! Huh? But apparently her brain didn't remember to send that memo to her heart! And Rushe is certainly not making it easy for her. And he doesn't intend to! The beautiful little female healer with her spun gold, curly, blonde hair, beautiful blue eyes, luscious curves and mouth watering "mammary glands" (his words) is drop dead gorgeous sex on a stick and he wants a lick. Just one look could bring any man to his knees and therein lies the problem. He intends to wipe that wolf's scent off her luscious body! She may not know it yet - but she will be his! What's a wolf and a vampire to do? Hmmm..........Defy the alpha and the kings, fight them all and claim their mate????? And just what are those elves up to now? I don't know. We'll just have to wait and see! Buckle up my lovelies! Please remember, this is a serial so there is a cliffhanger but personally, I don't mind cliffhangers, it's like watching my favorite TV shows every week. Although it's not necessary, I would highly recommend reading Charlene's Chosen by the Vampire Kings and Stolen by the Alpha Wolf to enrich the reading experience. I can hardly wait for Their Everything, Part Three of Unlikely Mates! Deliciously cute, delightfully wicked and wonderfully entertaining!

I am ADDICTED to this series; I can get enough of this paranormal romantic goodness. With alpha males in all shapes and sizes with Ménage à trois, MFM love triangles (eat your heart out), Vampires, Shifters, and Elves. It is Sexy, it is Sizzling, it is smoking Hot, it is Erotic so much so that it jumps right off the pages and leaves you needing a cold shower.
Sassy, headstrong females, and fighting to the death is not uncommon. So, what happens when smoking hot vampires and shifters, mortal enemies want the same thing; this is where things get so interesting, and the fun begins. These men are ruthless, they are vicious, power players, they are violent. There is lots of action, danger and war around every corner but given all that they love fast, they love with their whole heart and make you want to go and find your own.
Charlene has woven a captivating, tangled web of lies, deceit, suspense, drama and love that will leave you breathless. The characters are to die for, and each have their own voice in this series. I love that we get their POV because it makes them more real.
It is not all doom and gloom though there are plenty of witty moments and humour that will have you laughing out loud especially Zane and Becky, they crack me up.

Before I begin my review, I highly recommend that you read the other books in this series so you can become familiar with all the wonderful characters and their stories. Unlikely Mates is another hot sexy series and loved the second installment.

Love the Series
I am really enjoying this series. Becky is a fun character and she just keeps finding mates everywhere she goes. She doesn't believe in a forever relationship but the shifter and vampire in her life do. I wouldn't want to pick just one either. Looking forward to part three to see just how hard they work to convince her.

Oh dear Becky goes from one non human to other but I will say Becky really struggled when her can opp ire friend comes calling and she find it hard to resist but he goes to far and Becky upset but she knows her feelings for her shifter is close to how she feels for her vampire. Then gets serious at the end can't wait for next part.

I'll say that I liked Becky better in this part. She wasnt as obnoxious. However, I dunno I guess I have mixed feelings. I love Ross. I love Griffin...he's just cute and so is Becky's assistant Elizabeth. I dont think I like how this was written. When Becky and Ross first have sex it was hot but not as intense as when she was with Rushe. I found it humorous that Ross was suffering greatly with wanting to have Becky again. I'm also not liking the back and forth with Becky she's so wishy washy. There is a huge reason she isn't wanting to be with anyone in long-term. Now, I dont think it has anything to do with her ex-husband but maybe childhood or something. We're definitively missing something with her. I am oh so happy that Brant is suffering greatly with Tanya. With what he did to Ward and how he treated Stephany...he deserves what he gets. Shes refusing to talk to him and definitely only rutting Zane. She IS mad at Zane but not as nearly as Brant because he was the crux behind all that business. I'm just hoping these Kings pull their head out of it and just do these alliances and permit mating between humans and wolves alike and even elves. Just have certain rules etc. The end I saw coming. I dunno I just didnt like how this 2nd part was done. It dragged a little. I also didnt think Ross got a fair shake with her like Rushe did. Rushe's time with her was pretty much all at once and it was hotter than hell. Ross got a small taste of her then a lot of time passed and he got more but by that time I was kinda over it. I think the author just left too much time even if it was hours. Also, Ross bit her without permission no less. That was kinda wrong and pissed her off rightfully so. Doesnt matter if she enjoyed it...probably should have talked to her first. She was so skittish and I can kinda see why he didnt ask her lol. Its kinda all mixed up at this point. Not my favorite series on all these characters. I'll continue to read the part 3 though cause I do wanna know what takes place but I might be skimming. Xander is starting to piss me off as well. I feel sorry for Esral. *sighs*.

Having misunderstood a message about her werewolf Rushe, she thinks he is going to be mated to someone else and decides to try what she had wanted in the vampire crush she held for so many months before.
While still trying to maintain her independence and position of thought that she feels she will never be right for a long-term relationship let alone a forever relationship. She fails to see that yet another male has set his sights and mind that she is his mate and has thoroughly fallen for her far beyond just wanting the night!
Just as Becky thinks she can't get in any deeper she gets a visitor in the for of Rushe who came as promised... Things have gotten deep and both delicious choices are offering her a future she never thought she would have! I am so eagerly awaiting how she is going to work both worlds of super sexiness into her life.

3.5 Stars. I enjoyed this book a lot... although I am not a huge fan of the vampire in this book or Becky for that matter. I think I like Griffin better. The other is not as interesting. He's okay though. I look forward to reading the next story of this series and see where it leads. Out of the 3 different series I've read thus far from this author- I have to say this is my least favorite. But it's still well written and enjoyable. I think it's Becky's ridiculous repetitiveness that is the most annoying. Also, being a larger busted gal myself, no woman who is curvy with a chest her size would be caught dead going to a diner without a bra on. I don't care how baggy your shirt is. You'd have to wear a parka to hid it. That part I was kind of rolling my eyes at.
Overall, though, I still found it enjoyable. The part in the vehicle with the phone call has me LOLing. The erotic parts were not as sexy as I expected. But I will continue to read on. Fingers are crossed that the next book in this series leaves me in awe!

Part 2. Great series by Charlene Hartnady! Becky and Rushe really had some hot sex in part 1. Now, Ross the Vampire is on her trail. He screws her against the wall on her lunch break at work. Becky is very strange for a doctor. Such indecision, sophomoric language, just odd. The guys are super hot hunks who deserve someone who is just as into them. She was married to the wrong guy years ago, but now wants to "sew her oats"?? Makes no sense. I have liked all the deep, wonderful characters, interesting plots, and hot sex, but Becky just isn't that likable, to me. She was so much stronger and solid when she delivered the twins. Hopefully there will be a wrap up that shows she has grown. The Elves have some bad guys, Xavier and Esral still need a push, more sex with Ross, and what will Rushe think when he finds out about Ross? ! Many questions. ENJOY !!!

becky helps deliver the alpha females twins & is given rushe as a body guard while on wolf land to protect her from all the unmated males . .one night when becky is using a vibrator to relieve some frustration rushe hears her & they end up having sex . its quite funny in parts as rushe is a virgin but has been swotting up on human sex but becky thinks hes really experienced . the alpha gets becky out of camp so other shifters won't smell rushe on her & rushe is confined to quarters . book ends & we get to wait for part 2 , then theres a part 3 , authors /publishers need to stop doing this when theres no need these books are more novellas & should be called as such

My favorite by far.
Becky has a hard time with commitment and love. Rushe is a hot shifter that would make your dreams come true. Ross is the sexy vampire of any woman's dream. Put a woman like Becky who doesn't think she can love anyone in the middle of two hot guys and you have the makings of a third steamy book with a menage waiting to happen. And boy that's exactly what you want. But can these two men let go of there feelings for one another's hatred to show Becky that they both can make her happy. May 20th for book 3 in the final book of Unlikely.

Oh no poor Becky, caught between a rock and a hard place, literally! Rushe and Viper are both rock hard after all ;-D What a mess! Really nervous about how this is going to play out. But if Becky is anything like the vampires' queen she's going to put a stop to this madness and figure something out. Fingers crossed.

Fantastic
Wow, part two is just as awesome as the first one! What is, Becky, to do? Now she has , Rushe the werewolf, Ross the vampire, and they both want her as their mate. What is a girl to do, when you have two hot guys after you? I am so ready to read the next part, to see if all three of them find their happy ending.

2.5 stars- Still something missing
I'm still struggling a bit with this set. I liked Becky more in the second novella, but I lack a connection. This one seemed more hokey (roll my eyes a lot) than the last series with Ward and Stephany. I'll probably finish this set, but I'm not as convinced I'll continue reading the series/author.

Kindle Unlimited read. 4 1/2 star. Now that her vampire crush knows that she was with a wolf, he insists on going to her. When he gets there things really heat up! One hot read!! Cannot wait to see who Becky picks!! Cliffhanger.

This story just keeps getting better and better
Book 2 of unlikely mate just keeps getting hotter. I felt like I was watching a car accident,and could not turn away. I can't wait to see how Charlene ends this.
