He spills his milk and he knocks over his paint -- what will happen next? It is going to take the help of some very good friends to help Little Bear feel better after his very bad day!

When I'm having a down day, I like to suggest my mom and dad pick this book up from my library. It "feels me better" a bit to know that Little Bear catches the same melancholy Mondays as I sometimes do. Just like Little Bear, I like to be reminded that looking around for the good things that have happened can help me shift into a better half of the day by lunchtime!
I don't know why the other reviews say that Little Bear is the one who turns his day around. It's his very good friends who do so for him. Which doesn't help one learn coping skills of self-reliance, but does make for a sweet friendship story. Kinda sorta. I dunno... I just can't get into the new Little Bear series; they don't have the same spark as the classics.
This is a cute story that kids can relate to. It shows them that even on the worst days there is always something to smile about. The book uses simple words which is great for younger kids. Overall a very sweet children's book.
It was an okay story, but I loved the illustrations and the texture of the bears and trees. The story is about everything going wrong in the Little Bear's day and in the end his friends make him feel better. It was a sweet ending.
Another book featuring little bear! I had to grab it, because I loved Little Bear's Picture. I think that writing books about bad days give children space for their emotions.
