Beautiful produce the book was great illustrations. The history section is superb very thorough. So is most of the rest of the book as the regions are described in detail. Not suitable as an only travel guide more as supplemental reading.

Best travel guide about Kenya of all the ones I could find. The vivid illustrations and pictures were really helpful to me, a visual learner. Helped prepare me for my trip there, and while I was there helped me know the restaurants ahead of time and while on safari. Will be using it to plan my next trip there.

DK Eyewitness Travel Guides give you what you expect - regional maps, history, culture, people, flora & fauna, and travel tips. I mostly read this to prepare for a trip to Kenya to several regions. It was a good basic start for my travel prep. I'll be reading others to get more specifics, but this is a good overall review.

Great reference for our trip to Kenya in February 2020. Helpful with culture, parks, what to do, resources, and more. We found it to be really helpful. Beautiful pictures and useful current information.
