I have no shame saying I absolutely LOVE Marilyn Cruise and The Chapel Series!!

I was skeptical at first because honestly...the whole "stripper with a heart of gold" isn't normally my cup-o-tea. HOWEVER, these books are anything but...or butt because in my head they both have fantastic asses :) Michael was back and forth in my mind. "Love Him..Hate Him...Want To Screw Him Into The Middle Of Next Month...Then Slap The Ever Loving Shit Out Of Him". Scarlett is really the hero in these books. I totally fell in love with her! Her inner dialogue was very much how most girls think. Her B.F. Anne also COMPLETELY won me over! I heard from a little birdie her story will be next! AND, she's going back to school at my Alma Mater! YAY! Maybe even Spencer's after?! I.E. Mr. Sexy-Surgeon-Rip-My-Panties-Off-With-Your-Teeth!!

Hopefully you'll like these books as much as I did. I really like finding a new author to support!!

The final book in the series and Michael is a changed man. He divorced Scarlett because he loved her. Huh? Yes, apparently he wanted that chapter in their lives closed so that they could start fresh. He loves Scarlett and tells her constantly that he'll wait for her until she decides she wants to be with him.

Scarlett is a huge bitch in this book. She treats Michael horribly for most of it and he takes it. Yikes. She cries constantly and that got old really fast.

This book could have been cut down into a novella and it would have been much better. Too many repetitive scenes.

Michael and Scarlett have divorced and Scarlett is trying to move on. When she meets Spencer her father's doctor she finds she can openly be herself. But she doesn't feel what her and Michael have. When she sees Michael he wants another chance. Can she give him one. Can these two be together forever? Great read.

After reading book 2, I stated I would not spend the money for any more of the author's works but relented because I had to know what happened! I was disappointed in Scarlet for sleeping with the doc even thought she knew it was a mistake. Some of the sex scenes between Michael and Scarlet were "sizzling" and beautifully described. There is indeed a HEA. As I said in reviews for books 1 and 2 of this series, I think that the 3 books could have been condensed to one book or at the very most two books.

I absolutely enjoyed reading this book, every single sentence and paragraph. The author took me on an emotional roller coaster ride and i loved it. I loved how the chracters were portrayed and the emotions just jumps right off the pages. I was happy, sad and excited with them. I hated whwt happened with Anne but the author portrayed great friendship between Anne and Scarlett. The doctor was a nice addition to the story line and it was steamy and i juet love a great happy ending

I didn't understand why scarlet kept acting like Michael was the liar and stuff. She is the one who lied .. She cried to much acted like a bitch and she slept with someone she hardly knew. A slut in my book. Michael is way to good for her. I won't be reading anymore from this author.. The second book was pretty much the same as the first book. A big disappointment...

This wrapped up a lot better than I expected.
They were annoying at times, but I think the best moment was when he came to her rescue during the flat tire. The way he was so calm and commanding. I did think it was so wrong for her to call him since she had some other dudes car.
I would also like to know why that doctor was so rude to her.

Loved book 3

The final storyline is a heart catapulter. The author really digs into feelings and emotions of Scarlett and Michael and brings you in to their story. Loved the series and wished there was more. Great books, hard to put down.

Perfect ending to a great trilogy.
My only real complaint is that I think Scarlett fought too hard against Michael. Once she finally gave in to the inevitable, a happy ending was guaranteed.
