This book would be fun for a cooking/food themed baby or toddler story time.

With bright bold illustrations and single words of text, the reader follows two restaurant chefs through their day of preparing food, serving it, and then cleaning up. My Storytime audience enjoyed it - the bright colors caught the attention of even my youngest audience members and there was plenty of opportunity to guess at what they were making (example Peel. Mash) the kids loved chiming in with "potatoes!" We discussed some of the bigger words as well, like "knead", "season" and "garnish" So for the older toddlers there was also fun and added vocabulary.
