Pipsa Possu -kirjat ovat hitti niin kotona kuin töissä. Tämän pahvikirjan luin työpäivän aikana ainakin kolme kertaa läpi, kun kuulijakunta ei ottanut kyllästyäkseen siihen.

George races in his car like the title says and Peppa cheers him on. That’s the plot. As long as my three year old enjoyed, that’s what matters.

Peppa Pig: George's Racing Car Board Book:-
My daughter absolutely loves Peppa Pig and anything Peppa or George and she loves books. As she is still little she can sometimes unintentionally be a bit rough with paperback books and ends up ripping them and so I recently bought a few more board books for her including this one which her big brother also loves to read with us.
The book is a board book which for anyone that doesn't know, means each page is made of thick card rather than paper pages alongside a hardback cover. This means this is a really durable book especially for little ones and is perfect to encourage their love of books without them unintentionally destroying the less robust paperback ones. It also makes it very easy for little ones to be able to turn the pages by themselves and will enable most food, dirt and grime to be able to be wiped off the board pages. They also take a little longer to chew through!
The book is about George Pig and is pretty much the same as the television programme with the same story. The book sees Daddy Pig and Grandpa Pig making a race car for George out of an old pram and other parts. George then races against Peppa's friends who are on their bike, scooter and bouncing hopper and Peppa is George's chief mechanic and fixes his race car when it becomes broken.
There is no "Look Inside" feature at the time of writing this review and so I hope the publisher doesn't mind but I have attached a few photos to give an example of the storyline inside and what the book looks like. I haven't revealed all of the pages so as not to ruin the book for anyone thinking of buying it and if the publisher wishes me to remove my photos and they see this then please just comment on this review or email me and I will remove them.
My daughter loves sitting 'reading' her books and while this is not her favourite of the ones we have this definitely gets picked up and read a lot. Another really good board book from Ladybird books and we have quite a few of their board books now.
