Alexa's Travels #2
The Killing Fields
The Quest has BegunThe Killing Fields of Nebraska have become an apocalyptic legend in the long years since nuclear war devastated the world. Only those who have no other option will cross the endless state of corn and brave the monsters that roam in search of prey. It is a place of magic and curiosity, of walking dead and ghostly apparitions. Once inside that untamed nightmare, anything can happen.
Alexa and her fighters have now made it to this cursed zone. Haunted and exhausted, their quest is threatened by old behaviors and surprise dangers that force the fighters to accept that the other travelers may be more lethal than the ghosts stalking them through the ruins of Nebraska.

Great read.....just hate the series is done. There was a book three advertised but as I can’t find it anywhere, it must not be available yet.....oh well...onto something different.

Hard to put down
I enjoyed this story. It kept me up all night reading it just to see what was coming next. I have recommend it to my friends.

As always, riveting!
Alex falls into the same category as Angela (After the Wars) and Adrian...descendants with special abilities to protect and to develop vestiges of human greatness into reality and a willingness to assume guilt for deaths that can't be stopped until there is a safe haven...Safe Haven.

Loved the story
Only 3 stars because of all the typos and disjointed sentences, but if you get through those, it's another heavy, hard hitting book by Angela White. Action, depth, mystery, and surprises; it's all there in Alexa's quest to find Safe Haven and her father
