(Suncoast Society series book #17, various, BDSM)

The moans of pleasure. The crack of a whip splitting the air. The smack of a paddle against flesh. That’s what comes to mind for most people when they think of BDSM.

When you peel back the trappings, silence the heavy, throbbing bass line of the club music, what’s left are the beating hearts, the gasps, the exhaled breaths. Heels on a tile floor, or the rustle of fabric.

Sometimes, the best parts of BDSM lay nestled among the softer sounds of play.

The Romance Review

Those yearning for more scenes with the kinky Suncoast Society community will enjoy this collection. In CLICK, many of the couples from the books in this series make a guest appearance. Whilst most of the tales are maledom in nature, there is also a femdom one with switch couple Abbey and Gilo.

Each one of these stories revolves around a simple concept--click. It could be click of a lock. It could be a moment in time for a profound epiphany. Each one of these stories is an intimate look into the erotic dynamic between two people. It does expand in a few cases to those who are outliers to the main couple. A couple of the moments are a little too intimate for me and I felt a bit uncomfortable witnessing something that should perhaps remain personal. And this is why Ms. Dalton excels as an author. She creates such realistic characters that it almost feels like I would know them if I met them at a club. There are two relationships exposed in this collection which moves me.

I first started reading Ms. Dalton because of Cardinal's Rule. This book broke my heart. I cried into half a box of tissue paper reading that story. It's a favourite of mine. It also explains so much about why Tilly is the way she is throughout each of the books. The scene here between Tilly and Cris is a long time coming. I started reading it with a bit of dread because of how annoyed I am with how Tilly treats Cris. It's as if she hasn't forgiven him and still constantly needles him. This story finally brings all the hurt to the surface to be addressed and start the process of healing. I loved it. That missing piece for Tilly is now filled. This makes me happy and my missing piece for them is now also filled.

Sir and his pup is the one that threw me. Full disclosure, I am an avid fan of Ms. Dalton. I read her blog several times a month. I am aware of her history and her lifestyle dynamic. I also don't recall a book in this series where there is a Sir or pup without any names associated to these titles. If this story with the two characters of Sir and his pup are who I think it is, I'm all mixed up inside. Why? Because I feel too many things after reading this story. I feel elated and honoured the story is shared. I feel confused and questioning if this is really a scene in their life. Lastly, I feel uncomfortable because if this is a real life scene exposed for all to see, it is a bit too intimate to be laid out so openly. I fear those who are not as loving fans as I am will take this very personal scene and twist it into something it is not. For me, it's real life complications of a poly N formation. It captures how loving and giving two people can be for each other and their respective spouses. It's also about how competing priorities make life complicated and sometimes, people get hurt. It's not a bad thing. It happens and those in this relationship make it work because they understand and support each other. Beautifully moving and perfect as the last story in this book. This is when I experienced my "click".

This collection is recommended to kinky readers who want more stories about the beloved characters in the Suncoast Society.

This is a short quick read about some of the kinky couples of the Suncoast Society community. The first story was about Tony and Shalya she got snippy with Tony and disrespected him in front of Tilly and when they got home he punished her. I liked that Tony let her pick the amount of hits she was going to get. John and Abby is the second couple and although I haven't read their book yet I really like them. Both of them are switches and Abby was in control. The next couple is a trio Mac, Sully and Clarisse on their boat. This poly has been through a lot and now they have two kids and have to find time for some spanky time. The sex scenes in this ploy story was hot. The next couple in this book was from one of my favorite books in this series Seth and Leah and it was good to read about how they are doing after Kaden's death. Seth is still trying to do everything like Kaden and he gets frustrated when he can't I liked how Leah was their to help him and also Tony. The next couple was Jenny and Mike and although I haven't read their book either I plan to and I did like the little scene with. The next couple is also a poly Landry, Cris and Tilly. Landry has to go out of town on business and leaves Cris and Tilly alone. Tilly realizes that she wants to be Cris's slave again, but she is torn because Cris is Landry's slave and Tilly is Landry's wife. I loved that she has finally forgiven Cris for leaving her and wants to submit to him again and now that missing piece for them is now filled. The last story was a bit odd because it didn't use names and it wasn't any sex. This was a really good book it was well written like the rest of Tymber's books. I am looking forward to reading more books in this series.

Great collection of several of the couples from the Suncoast Society series. Having the glimpse into their lives and how they are doing is a great addition to any series. The feelings these characters express are so real. We all have ups and downs in relationships and seeing a few of our favorite characters going through the same thing makes us feel closer to them.

Short quick read, highlighting only some of the group and now introducing this last group. The way that there were different chapters with different peeps.

Time for another, thanks Tymber

Sigh the annoying part of my brain was wondering hold up isn't Clarisse pregnant! Like with twins according to Book 15 (A very Kinky Valentine's and Things Made Right)

I love Tymber Dalton for bringing characters along and doing these check in books. So many authors say it's a series and we never see characters again, fucking stupid IMO! If that's the case make them standalones! But Tymber and Alanea Alder always do it right!!!!

The last story confused me! Does that mean the relationship is between two married people and do their spouse's consent, if yes was it sexual or just play? I was so confused ... Like her husband was in bed sleeping and he drove up to her house and she was kneeling naked! I was like damn... Plus he called her his girlfriend, not his sub or anything else, that totally threw me for a loop!

How are they poly if the other spouses are no involved not giving them names made it even more trying to figure out my brain was having a does not compute moment!!!

I need to process this a little more before I write I longer review, but all I can this is breathtakingly beautiful! Life is about ups and downs. Seeing these characters we love so much already go through real life issues is just a bit wonderful! I love these bits of them after the HEA. Tymber draws you in so much that they become so real to you. I like visiting my friends. And the final story in this book, I was nothing short of fantastic.

Another book of short stories. While I really don't like short stories I do like the ones in this series. We get a peek into what they are doing. Tilly's was my favorite seeing her reclaim something that she lost that meant so much to her. The last one I didn't like. The nameless let and Sir I just didn't care about them. I didn't read that one in this re read and I doubt I will during future re reads.

Do not skip this book in the series.
Each chapter in this book is a glimpse in the lives of some of the couples/triads/quads etc who are members of the Suncoast Society. I recommend that you do not skip this book as each story shows a growth or a depth in the characters relationships.

A peak at several of the characters we have come to love. you can get to see how sometimes even the small things can mean so much. We get to see the love in each relationship and how they make it work for them. Love the little peak in the last chapter.

Enjoyable interlude

This had bits and (hot) pieces of our favorite characters. The piece at the end was very confusing without using any names. It was hard to figure out what was going on, especially as it jumped around. It makes me wonder if it is a story special to the writer...

Cute. The last scene is confusing. Left hanging. Can't identify the characters, don't know if it's an intro to another upcoming book. Feels incomplete with out and ending.
