Alex, Imara, and Sirenī once wielded their incredible powers to save their world, Gaea. But those very abilities tore them apart, separated by a government's decree for nearly half a century. Now, a perilous threat looms not only over Gaea but countless planets within the Ring of Worlds. To stand a chance against this menace, they must defy their government's orders and reunite. Lives hang in the balance, and their reunion is the only hope.
C.S. Harris has been a storyteller since before he could spell his own name. What began with crayons and a battered typewriter became a lifelong pursuit of wonder—worlds where love defies fear, identity is sacred, and power comes with a human cost.
A bisexual author who writes for readers who rarely get to see themselves as heroes, he lives in Maine with his wife and some cats who think they’re on the payroll. When he’s not writing, he’s usually lost in thought about distant suns, forgotten gods, or how to smuggle an extra cup of coffee into the afternoon.
For Harris, every story is a mirror—one that reflects the beauty, chaos, and fragile hope that make us human. Reunion of the Three is the first glimpse into that reflection: a story of love, exile, and the courage to come home again.
A powerful force kept separated until times have gotten desperate - CS Harris builds a world and introduced characters masterfully. It's hard to put together a sci Fi fantasy world and establish all those details without feeling like you're exposed to clunky back story. Harris weaves this information into an engaging act one that kept me flipping pages with a fury. That foundation builds excellent stakes with some great surprises and riveting action scenes, and the strength of these people translates into the intensity of the romance scenes. An immensely satisfying read with a book two ready and waiting for when your addiction calls!
This fantasy epic by C.S Harris is a triumph. Well-written with phenomenal characters, this story will grip you from the moment you start reading.
The plot moves at a good pace and covers a lot of ground. Harris does a good job of weaving the plot with character development and keeping readers engaged. While ultimately not the most original story, its magic is in the passion and skill with which the story is presented. Truly a gift to readers.
I highly suggest this book to readers who love a classic tale of good vs. evil, excellent world-building, fantasy, and all things mythical will love this read.
Reunion of The Three, written by C.S. Harris, stands as an exceptional fantasy novel, woven with masterful storytelling and profound character development. Through the narrative lens of Jordan and Grandma M's profound relationship and the consequential impact of Grandma's passing, Harris demonstrates unparalleled expertise. Jordan's fateful encounter with Richard sparks a romantic odyssey that unfolds with captivating allure.
Moreover, the narrative intricately weaves around the extraordinary trio—Alex, Imara, and Sirenī—whose combined efforts avert impending catastrophe, yet also attract the unwanted attention of governmental intervention. Each character possesses distinct and fascinating magical abilities: Alex's mastery of spells, Imara's cosmic symphony, and Sirenī's captivating beauty. These gifts, while blessings, also become burdens, as fear of their repercussions leads to their forced separation.
From the outset, Harris skillfully guides readers through the fantastical realm, offering clarity on the Ôrëńos language with a deft touch. 'Reunion of The Three' serves as a testament to Harris's narrative prowess, vividly painting scenes and characters that ignite the imagination and grip the reader's attention. It is a captivating journey, a must-read for lovers of the fantasy genre.
It is a world full of dangerous magic, where three friends with fantastic abilities join hands to save the day. In ‘The Ring of Worlds,’ Alexander, Imara, and Sireni meet again after being separated for many years. It’s the first in 3 book series.
This book has action sequences where they use their powers to fight off danger. Alex is super good at magic, Imara can make her words real and Sirena’s beauty is so strong it makes people infatuated with her. Together, they have to stop a bad guy from spreading darkness around many worlds. They are different but on the way, they know that friendship is what matters in life.
The story moves at a thrilling pace with numerous unexpected twists and turns. Every twist and turn of the story brings you closer to climax as enthralling suspense awaits you during every magical event or narrow escape. But it also emphasizes true friendship through thick and thin. It’s got great world-building, awesome characters, and a plot that keeps you flipping pages: all these things will enamor fans of epic fantasies.”
When I first started reading Reunion of the Three, I wondered where the book was going with the first few pages. It seemed like I was reading different stories that were not connected. But they all came together in a great way.
This is a really good fantasy book with adventure, action, and love. The world building and characters were great, and I became very invested in Alex, Imara and Sireni, their powers, relationships, and love for each other.
The only criticism I have is that it ended too soon, just as I was getting into the book and waiting to see who the major villain was. I can't wait for the next part.
Unifying a world-saving triad: The birth of a saga
C.S. Harris' Reunion of the Three is an enthralling addition to the fantasy genre, weaving a tale of magic, peril, and the strength of unity. Set in a convoluted world threatened by a necromancer, the story follows Alexander Eldred, Imara Inanna, and Sirenī Adamma—three powerful individuals torn apart by their abilities. Fifty years after their forced separation by a government fearing their combined strength, the trio reunites to confront a looming threat to the Ring of Worlds. When Imara and Alexander reunite after decades of separation enforced by a fearful government, the scene is a poignant explosion of the pent-up longing and love that epitomize the book's exploration of connection and power. This powerful opening sets the stage for a story that is as much about battling external threats as it is about overcoming the internal and societal barriers that keep us apart.
The book is a mix of fiction and emotion, exploring the subtleties of relationships and the cost of power. The characters Alexander, Imara, and Sirenī are all rich in details like spells, manipulating reality, and obsessive beauty. Their forced apartness serves as a poignant commentary on the anxieties of those in power, highlighting fears of what they cannot control.
Throughout the story, the protagonists confront complex political plots and the schemes of a sinister necromancer whose ambitions pose a grave threat to the cosmos. The inclusion of a polyamorous relationship treated with respect and depth adds a fresh twist to this genre, which often defaults to heteronormative love stories.

Irrespective of that, overall, this book is a must-read for any fan of the sci-fi fantasy genre and is sure to leave a lasting impression on readers.
This is a page turner building worlds cloned from earth with steamy characters and handsome cats! Purring aside, I’m a fiction reader, and this is my first dive into an epic fantasy. At Gaea, magic is the norm like Earth’s science, beautiful and intense. Three loves rescued the world, but their love was forbidden to come again. Back to Earth reunited at last, their powers are stronger than ever, and I can’t wait to see what they can do. New to fantasy and sci-fi, this built a new world, the first in a trilogy. This author knows not only how to tell a story, but to build its land and language of its inhabitants and even see human nature in a touching, striking way. Masterfully crafted. I can’t wait to read the next installment.
the line “Grandma M was telling the truth!” added an almost ‘Big Fish’ quality to a tale that already sparkled with magical realism. Alex’s situation with Sireni and Imara is ideal for any guy, even though he has to wait nearly 50 years to enjoy certain aspects of it. A wild ride!
Reunion of the Three by C.S. Harris starts off with Alex having a vision. One that not only starts us on a fantastical journey but also begins the chaos to come. C.S. Harris has a way of creating beautiful and complex characters. C.S. Harris also has a way of creating imaginations and sucking readers into a story. The pace of the story is just right, and there's not too much information being thrown at you all at once. Not only do you get Alex's point of view, but you also get other points of view from different characters. These points of view are connected in such a way that you won't feel annoyed or bothered by the different points of view. This novel is only the beginning of what C.S. Harris has given us, and I can't wait to read the next novel in this series. I would recommend this novel to those who love fantasy and paranormal novels. I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.
This book is a masterpiece of imagination. From the moment Alexander defies the government edict, I was invested. What struck me most wasn’t just the stakes the annihilation of entire worlds but the emotional core of three friends forced apart for fifty years. That separation gave such weight to their reunion. The magic system is one of the freshest I’ve read: memory as power, music as reality, beauty as compulsion. At times the descriptions run dense, but the lyrical quality makes it worth savoring. If you’re looking for a fantasy that balances epic scope with intimate emotion, this is it.
"This story grips from the first page and never lets go. The worldbuilding is breathtaking, painting a vivid picture of Gaea and the greater Ring of Worlds. The magic system feels fresh and profound each character’s power is as poetic as it is dangerous. The tension between political oppression, cosmic threat, and personal bonds is masterfully handled. A must-read for fans of epic fantasy with depth and heart."
"Alexander, Imara, and Sirenī aren’t just heroes they’re forces of nature. Their powers are mythic, yet their struggles are deeply human. The enforced separation and forbidden reunion adds a heartbreaking layer to the adventure. This book perfectly balances romance, tragedy, and triumph against a backdrop of interplanetary danger. It left me eager for more."
"The author has crafted something extraordinary: a saga where mythic powers collide with raw human emotion. Alex’s genius, Imara’s symphonic magic, and Sirenī’s perilous beauty create a trio of unforgettable heroes, each carrying a burden that feels both divine and tragic. The stakes are galaxy-spanning, yet every chapter pulses with intimate tension. Fans of epic fantasy will devour this."
"From the clash with empires to the rise of a necromancer’s corruption, this story is a breathtaking storm of wonder and terror. What sets it apart is the moral depth the cost of power, the weight of separation, the danger of governments that fear their own protectors. This is not just a fantasy adventure; it’s a meditation on unity, freedom, and the resilience of hope. Absolutely riveting."
"This is the kind of saga readers dream about: richly layered worlds, magic that feels alive, and characters whose destinies are as tragic as they are heroic. The bond between Alex, Imara, and Sirenī gives the story heart, while the looming necromancer threat raises the stakes to cosmic proportions. It’s fantasy at once intimate and epic a true masterpiece."
This story shows how fear can make people push others away, even when they’re the ones who can help the most. The government split Alex, Imara, and Sirenī apart because they were “too powerful,” but that only made things worse when real danger came.
It’s a reminder for everyday life: don’t let fear or jealousy keep you from working with people who have something special to offer. Teaming up and trusting each other will always be stronger than trying to control everything alone.
"Every page is steeped in wonder and dread. The magic system is elegant and original, and the heroes’ fifty-year separation sets the stage for a reunion both devastating and triumphant. This book explores the dangerous beauty of power while never losing sight of love, sacrifice, and rebellion. I was hooked until the very end."
The worldbuilding is exceptional, an entire Ring of Worlds, each with its own rules and histories, yet woven into a cohesive whole. My only critique is that the necromancer’s motivations could have been fleshed out more deeply. Still, the climax was exhilarating, and the tension with the Unified Government added a political bite rarely seen in this kind of fantasy. Easily 5 stars
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This book broke my heart and mended it again. The fifty years of enforced separation was almost too painful to read, yet it made the reunion of Alex, Imara, and Sirenī all the more powerful. Their bond is raw, emotional, and unforgettable I felt every moment
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The emotions in this story run so deep that I had to pause more than once to take it in. I cried when the trio faced impossible choices, and I rejoiced when hope resurfaced. It’s not just a fantasy it’s a journey through love, loss, and destiny.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The ache of separation, the fear of losing everything, and the beauty of reunion are written so vividly that they stay with you long after the last page. This book is more than action it’s a moving story of loyalty and love tested by time.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Imara’s voice, Sirenī’s tragic beauty, Alex’s prodigious gift each character felt so real, so alive, that their struggles touched me deeply. I wasn’t just reading their story, I was living it alongside them. Absolutely breathtaking.
I finished this in two days flat. Sirenī’s fatal beauty was both terrifying and heartbreaking, it reminded me of Greek mythology in the best way. The themes of control, freedom, and destiny really stuck with me.
I loved the scope of the story and the interplanetary setting, but I did wish for more grounding in everyday details, sometimes it felt like the world was too big to fully grasp. Still, the emotional moments landed hard, and the ending left me breathless.
The Ring of Worlds #1: Reunion of the Three pulled me in from the very first page. The heartbreak of their separation, the beauty of their bond, and the vastness of the danger they face, it’s breathtaking. If you only read one fantasy this year, make it this one
The title is so fitting, this really is about reunion, not just of the three heroes but of hope itself. Gorgeous writing, epic worldbuilding, and characters that will stay with you long after you close the book.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A gripping start to an epic fantasy series. The mystery surrounding the three characters and their past kept me completely hooked. The slow reveal of secrets and destiny makes this story both haunting and unforgettable.
