Liz Connors is a freelance writer with a boyfriend Jack Lingemann on the police force. She is asked to check on a young woman who seems to be missing. It turns into a murder investigation that leads to prominent people who take a dislike to Liz' queries.
The book is an easy reading cozy mystery with a wild ending. I found the first 50 pages slow going.
