This collection of 13 stories, plus a bonus story that was sad, are indeed twisted but not terror tales. Or bonechillers for that matter. Slightly creepy and interesting. Best liked: The imaginary friend; Devil from the sky; Orphan asylum; In shadows
Bonechillers is 13 stories full of horror. It goes through stories about Werewolves and ghosts. It has many twists and turns in the many different adventures. Each story is different.
One story is about a boy who every one is mean to so he takes revenge by using to vampires. He realizes they are targeting everyone so he has to stop them. This reminds me of how in real life people like presidents or mayors or governors don't always do what they said they would. Sometimes they lie, sometimes they can't do everything. The vampires didn't do what they said they would do. This is a Text to World connection because it connects from the book to real life.
I recommend this book for people who like scary stories and things like that. If you enjoy short tales this has a lot. It is a pretty good book overall. The only thing is I think the depth of the writing could be better. That is why I gave it 3 stars and not 5 stars.
This is a good book that I read every October since the first time I got it. It has 13 different tales in it. My favorite is called "not so imaginary friend" its one of the scarier stories in the book.
This was pretty good. I wouldn't call them bonechilling, exactly, but there were some genuinely creepy moments. The one about the night parade was particularly eerie.
