In part two of this series our two characters are reconnecting and also learning more about each other in a carnal way.
Blake shows Erin that not all Dom's are like her ex-husband, and both realise that perhaps they had never really stopped loving the other.
However the trust is broke and Erin flees. Both end up hurt and feel pain, but for different reasons.
We get another cliff hangar ending and I really cannot wait to read the conclusion and I really hope they get a HEA.

Commanding Her Trust is book 2 in Lili Valente’s Under His Command series, the continuation of her amazing telling of the love story between Blake and Erin. Book 2 picks up right where we left off with Erin trying to make her escape from Blake which left us wondering whether or not he would be able to stop her. Well, indeed Erin’s efforts are thwarted and as they both begin to communicate with one another, it becomes apparent that the connection between them remains despite the passage of time as well as their inner attempts to hide how they truly feel.
As Blake’s love for Erin floods back to the surface, he begins to imagine a possibility of reclaiming “his woman” and beginning a new life together. The compatibility that they share, both inside of the bedroom, as well as out, continues to escalate. As Erin senses Blake’s feelings, her initial thought is to play along with him only long enough to make her escape. But as the hours pass and the strength of their new bond to one another intensifies, Erin begins to hope for more between them as well. Although she continues with her inner struggle of whether she can take the chance of placing her trust in another man, Erin starts to believe that Blake is different. While on the surface this book is about the relationship between a Dom and sub it is actually much more than that.

I really liked this part. Getting to see Erin and Blake reconnect was sweet. I hate that Blake was a jerk and went behind her back to find out what she is hiding rather than wait for her to explain. I hope he can make it up to her in the next book.

Commanding her Trust starts off right where Controlling her Pleasure ended...in the middle of nowhere. Blake needs to get to his cabin so they can relax and talk more about what needs to be done. He doesn't want to feel for Erin but when you have a connection to someone even after 8 years it's hard to let those feelings go. Erin is dead set on not going through with Blake's plan, the tattoo means too much to her future and she wants to hold onto it for her past...
Blake tries to keep his distance from Erin so the sex doesn't get out of control but Erin has other plans. She wants him, she craves his dominance and it's part of her plan. The next 24 hours is a whirlwind of hotness and emotions. Trust is a deal breaker to both of them. There is a secret lingering and its a biggie. Can Blake get Erin to trust him? Can he trust her? Will the emotions be too much for them?
This novella is full of punch. You have the secrets, suspense, sexiness and emotions. I can't wait to see what the next 24 hours is going to be like in that cabin. I have a feeling it's not going to be easy.

We were left wondering at the end of Controlling Her Pleasure, "Will Erin get away?" No way, if Blake has a say. In Commanding Her Trust, the title says it all. Throughout the book, Blake is trying his hardest to get Erin to trust him. He is still determined to alter her tattoo in order to help sever the tie he has with her, but the more time they spend together, the more Blake starts to fall for Erin again. Erin is determined to get Blake to fall for her again, getting him to let down his guard so she can get away. What she doesn't expect is old feelings resurfacing and allowing herself to consider a future with Blake again. Rekindling their love for one another definitely was not what either them expected the weekend in Blake's cabin would bring, but neither could deny what they were feeling. Erin couldn't believe that the boy she loved so long ago was now the man of her dreams, a hot, domineering sex god she always wanted. Blake couldn't believe his mouthy, rebelling, first and only love enjoyed being a submissive. Erin however has a secret she is afraid will destroy what she and Blake have found again. Is there enough trust among them for secrets to be shared? Will Erin and Blake have their second chance at love? This novella was filled with raw emotions, lust, dominance, surrender and learning to trust.

Another holding on to the seat of your pants addition to a hot series. Ms. Valente had done an excellent job of writing a book I could not put down.
We start right where we left off, Blake catching Erin before she gets away. Off to the cabin to change that tattoo or not? Love is rekindled until a big secret comes out. Will they resolve it? Will they part? I can't wait for the conclusion!
I love that at the start of the book it points out this is a cliffhanger ending. That saves me from getting mad.

OMG....HOT...HAWT...HOTTEST!! If you enjoyed the novella - you will absolutely LOVE the second book in the Under His Command trilogy. Blake and Erin's love story will not be easy and there is a great cliffhanger at the end of this one too. This series keeps you guessing and the sex just keeps getting hotter and hotter. I am a true fan of Lili's books for LIFE!! You do NOT want to miss out on this series if you enjoy hotness in both your male lead and your romance!! Thanks to the author for a ARC for this honest review.

This was really quick and uber hot. It can stand alone but you'll probably feel just a touch lost so I'd suggest reading them in order.

Ok so I'm gonna make one review for the entire Trilogy (yes, I'm on the team that finish all books, no matter what).
This Trilogy is so confuse, that the reading rating match with it. Half of readers from book one, didn't come back for the rest of the Trilogy.
It's TMI in so short story.
We have second chance romance, highschool sweetheart, BDSM (with a Dom who allowed to be cuffed, WTF?), psico ex husband, child from another mister, stepbrother romance...
Anyway... With all that, the heroin had only 24 years old! I mean... What? She didn't see the hero in 8 years!
And in this short Trilogy, you can enjoy a lot of sex scenes, almost in every chapter! At the beginning, was hot... But than I was like: OMG, again?
Not to mention the sperm that smells just like green apple! Gross!

This a sweet and very spicy book about old lovers who are back in each other’s lives. Blake is a Dom and Erin is Sub. They have a past as they lived in the same foster home years ago. Plans were made back then until Erin left in the middle of the night. Back together again in a cabin in Northern Nevada. Their chemistry is still there and explodes in the hottest way.
I am loving this series. It’s an accurate description of the BDSM community which thrills me. I’ve read some that are rubbish and this book is not. You can tell research was actually done on the lifestyle. Blake is an amazing Dom who actually cares anyone he subs with. And I love that Erin is a bit of a bratty sub. I’m excited to start the conclusion next.

Oooh second-chance romance at it’s finest! These two have SO much chemistry and so much history! Will they be able to trust each other and move on for their HEA?
This book is H-O-T, swoony, and full of anticipation. I am so glad I don’t have to wait for the next book to release (as it already has). Off to the next one!

So we pick up where the cliffhanger from the last book left off...
Erin and Blake had just shared a very passionate Dom/Sub moment in the SUV on the way to the cabin in the mountains and something Blake did irked Erin beyond belief so she tries to get away, half-naked in the freezing cold mountains. Not so smart but she is so mad at him. He is just blown away by how deeply they are connected and how after eight years apart they both have entered the D/s world and fit so well together.
He has given her till Sunday to decide on the tattoo alteration - he is still bound and determined to make changes to hers and sever that ethereal connection he feels with her. As the hours roll by they begin to bond again and their feelings awaken from where they've been buried over the years. Holy hot cliffhanger, book lovers! After reading Controlling Her Pleasure by Lili Valente, I could not WAIT to get my hands on Commanding Her Trust, the second book in Lili's Under His Command series. Let me tell you, this book did not disappoint. Talk about off-the-charts hot, this book absolutely scorches. Every single scene is alive with the passion that Blake and Erin have for each other.
Blake and Erin have moved forward in this book. Although their desire for each other is always simmering just below each interaction, each of them knows that their relationship cannot move forward without inspiring trust in the other. If they are to get past the events that have brought them to Blake's remote cabin, they have to start being honest with each other. But when Blake takes his role as Dom to a level that has Erin retreating, it's going to take a lot more than passion and the love that hasn't gotten any less powerful to make a go of it.
I am on the edge of my seat waiting to see what Lili has in store for Blake and Erin. Claiming Her Heart (Book 3) can't get here quickly enough, but, in the meantime, another 5+ smoldery stars for Commanding Her Trust.

Another bump in the road to forever? - 5 stars
This is the second book in the series of Erin and Blake. Just as things start looking like they are going in the right direction, a misunderstanding and lie throws everything into disarray.
We learned more about Erin and her soon to be ex, that she has an infant daughter she is fighting for and that she never stopped loving Blake, even when she ran away the day after his 18th birthday. We still don't know the reasoning for that or where she went after that, before she met her soon to be ex.
The fact that her soon to be ex lost all interest in her when she got pregnant left me wondering if other DOMs are that way of if this was just a one off due to this douchebag's stupidity.
I am so looking forward to the next book in the series to find out what happens with Erin and Blake, what happens with the baby and the soon to be ex and where everyone ends up. I would also like to learn more about Blake's friend, Rafe. Make sure you grab this series when you can. You will NOT regret it.

After the first book I was intrigued, I’m honestly not sure how I feel about this instalment.
This book has all the components to be sexy. And it is sexy, but it also has this weird ‘abuse’ undertone. I like Dom/sub books they really float my boat but there’s just something about Blake and Erin’s relationship that sets me in edge.
I love tattoos I have several and as daft as it sounds I think it’s the underlying threat that he will change her tattoo against her will that really upsets me.
Blake and Erin have a very unusual relationship, they obviously have a connection and the sex is hot.
Personally I just couldn’t engage with this story, I really tried because this is all very saucy but I’m sorry to say that I just found it uncomfortable.
This isn’t any indication of the writing or content this is simply personal preference. Unfortunately this just didn’t work for me.

With love bubbling under the surface, they both assume their roles as Dom and Sub to cover up their feelings. Blake wants Erin to trust him, but can he trust her? Erin is keeping a secret and he wants to know what it is! This novella is HOT, HOT, HOT! I can't wait to see what happens next!

Could it get any hotter?
I didn’t think so but I was wrong. Blake and Erin’s story continues in book two of this three-part serial and it is scorching! The attraction, the love, between the two has not diminished over the years of separation but that time did not stand still for either of them. They both went their very different paths and, given their history, trust is not instantly given. Erin is reluctant to share everything and give in whole-heartedly to Blake though she knows, she feels, that he is everything she could want or need. He gets her – her need to be dominated in a safe, loving way. Blake is also struggling with the feelings and emotions that Erin can so easily stir in him. He tries to be practical which simply leads to more misunderstanding and distrust. Secrets are revealed and the drama is heightened as Blake and Erin continue to find out what love really means for both of them. A doozy of a cliffhanger has me waiting not so patiently for the final book in this series!

I didn’t think so but I was wrong. Blake and Erin’s story continues in book two of this three-part serial and it is scorching! The attraction, the love, between the two has not diminished over the years of separation but that time did not stand still for either of them. They both went their very different paths and, given their history, trust is not instantly given. Erin is reluctant to share everything and give in whole-heartedly to Blake though she knows, she feels, that he is everything she could want or need. He gets her – her need to be dominated in a safe, loving way. Blake is also struggling with the feelings and emotions that Erin can so easily stir in him. He tries to be practical which simply leads to more misunderstanding and distrust. Secrets are revealed and the drama is heightened as Blake and Erin continue to find out what love really means for both of them. A doozy of a cliffhanger has me waiting not so patiently for the final book in this series!

The story has laughs, secrets, and heartbreak. I was pulled right into this short story. The story flowed well.
If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Controlling Her Pleasure (Under His Command, #1)
This is next part of Erin and Blake’s story. Both of them are aware of the attraction that still sizzles between them. Blake can feel the love he had for her coming back but is she just playing along for her chance to get away? Or does Erin still have some form of love for Blake also? With both of them having trust issues will they be able to believe the love they feel is real or just a part of the circumstances they find themselves in?
I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a fast read. Hoping for more background as the series continues. I recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story in this series.

This is the second piece to the puzzle of Erin and Blake's story.
This is not a standalone and these books should be read in order.
This book was absolutely amazing and totally worth the wait.
It was hot, sexy, edgy, sizzling, and totally breathtaking.
This book had me on the edge of my seat until the very end.
I absolutely devoured this book in one sitting.
This book picks up where book one left off.
Blake and Erin have always had a connection.
The chemistry is at a sizzling point between these two.
Blake wants Erin. Erin wants Blake but....
Erin needs to learn to trust again after being broken.
Blake wants Erin and will stop at nothing to get her trust.
Can Erin trust Blake or will she run?
Get ready the next sexy installment in this series.
And that ending will leave you begging for more.

In Commanding Her Trust, Blake and Erin pick up where they left off in Controlling Her Pleasure with Erin running half naked into the road to get away from Blake. Erin subsequently decides that she can use her submissive power to try to get Blake to change his mind about altering her tat, and Blake is doing what he can to keep it only D/s and not let emotions come into to play. Neither other these two have any idea just what they are getting themselves into and they seem to forget their plans. Blake and Erin share some extremely HOT scenes over the night… However, in a D/s relationship trust and communication is key, and just when it seems like these two are making their way back to what they once had all those years ago, someone’s trust is broken, will they come back to each other… I can’t wait for the next in this story, Claiming Her Heart! <3

Amazing follow up to Controlling Her Pleasure! Sometimes when you read a series there is always that *one book* that doesn't quite fit or isn't quite as good...well that is definitely NOT this one!
Even hotter than the first, Lili Valente continues Blake and Erin's story. He now has her up in his cabin in the mountains, intent on erasing the tattoo that is their connection to each other. Little did he know that they would rekindle the love and heat that they had in the past while discovering that they both have developed the same taste for domination/submission.
Their scenes together are tastefully written but they still leave you hot! Steamy does not begin to describe the chemistry between Blake and Erin. I couldn't put the book down until I got to the end...and then I wanted more.
This book is a MUST read for any woman who likes her man a little dirty.

Lili Valente keeps the fire burning in this second of the Under His Command Series! Blake and Erin are finding comfort in their history and pleasure in their shared interests in Commanding Her Trust. Loving the interaction between these two! The way that Blake both commands and empowers Erin, as well as being tender and loving in a way that Erin has always craved. Erin still has secrets but she is finding herself giving into Blake and not wanting to just cut and run as before. But can either of them completely give in to what they really do want from the other - complete trust and love. I can't wait to see what will happen next and whether Blake will be able to finally claim the heart of the girl that has always had his!! Well done!
