When his life is shattered by an act of violence, he gets swept up into a plot that spans two worlds - Earth and the magical world of Mercia.

Brought together by the act of a religious fanatic, Eric meets Maeve, a deadly sorceress from another world. Together, they join with Kai, a handsome woodsman and compatriot of Maeve's, Sir Andred, a Holy warrior of a sacred order, and Christine - Eric's social worker and friend from Earth. Together they need to unravel the mystery of the Dreamers.

Things become complicated when Eric is slain in battle - and wakes in the body of one of the Dreamers. From then on, Eric realizes his old life is over - and a new one is beginning. To prevail and find some form of life to be lived, she'll have to work with her friends to save both worlds from destruction - the world of her birth, and the world of her heart.

A good book but in need of editing

Overall, this is a good book. The story is well fleshed out, with interesting themes and a good storyline. There are no major spelling mistakes or homophone usage issues (a very big plus). The main problem with this book is that it is approximately twenty percent to long. Some scenes could have been removed without impacting the story, leading to a much tighter story, faster pace and a better book.
