Ok look at embellishing decorative items by carving your own stamps, cutting your own stencils, and painting. I skimmed a lot of this one - I was hoping to pick up some tips on stamp carving or stencil making, but didn't really.

It's about pattern-creating, not only on fabric but also on paper and other materials. Very helpful short 'Getting started' part, then 3 great chapters on stamps, stencils, painting. I learned a lot and had fun with my own projects.
