Fred Gibson must have never had a horse fall over backwards on him or Midnight was a mighty little horse. Curly was very stubborn and down right stupid and Catfish should have grown a pair and been a better parent. This book wasn't a patch on Old Yeller.

The author's purpose for writing this book was to entertain in a historical way. I love this authour and this book! He makes so much detail for the littlest things and I love it! There was so much action in this book. It gets scary at some points and I just want to keep reading.
