I have read this book several times and it is wonderful for the children to read along with and participate in. However, now that I am a grandmother, I cannot find the book at any library nor book store. Where to I buy a copy without spending over a $100.00? Is this book really that popular and coveted?

I have tried libraries in several counties/states, stores in the area, and Amazon. Where does one find this book, just the one Grumpus Under the Rug, for the current young readers/listeners?

I used to read this book to my little brother. It was our favorite!! I just found out that the book is very rare due to the limited printing, so the copy I have is worth a lot of $$$. I would never sell it though because it is very sentimental. I will probably scan it so I have a "beater" copy and seal it up and put it away, as it is an old paperback and a bit fragile. I will soon read it to my little ones. I hope they enjoy it as much as my brother and I did.

I loved this book as a kid. My mom read it to me until I could read it myself. Then I read it many more times myself.
