I hate it when I come to the end of everyone of these books.

The Jerry McNeal series has become like reuniting your favorite relatives. Jerry and his crew are so much fun, you can't help but feel like laughing. I love the people. Jerry has a great personality with everything you could want in a partner, even his little quirks. April, Max , Granny, Bunny all have been built to make you feel and love their personalities. Fred is even growing on me.

In this book Jerry and family deal with one problem after another. Typical! They end up in Maine to stop a mobster from stealing top secret information. But with the help of Jerry's ghostly friends, the mobster becomes the victim of the situation. As soon as this problem is handled or so Jerry thought it was handled another pops up. This time the problem is handled with a solution that only the very imagtive author could come up wth.

Don't miss this funny, touching addition to the Jerry McNeal series.

This was a journey. Little of this, little of that. Lots of characters in a mix of real, ghost, and half. Has the feel of 90s crime stoppers with sidekicks to stop the bad guys and some life events mixed in. First one I’ve read in this series and I’m ok leaving it as that.

Love this series!
Law enforcement, dogs, ghosts of all sorts, and Jerry McNeal and Gunter (ghost of a former K9 officer who sometimes interacts with dogs still firmly on this side of the veil) are called on to help "ghosts" go into the light. Some are just lost and trying to finish up unsettled accounts before passing on - others are hoping for their murders being solved - and still others whose stories await you between the covers of these awesome books. The characters are believable and well crafted, the plots intriguing, and the settings can be anywhere in the world, which definitely adds to enjoyment of the book.
As the series continues more people are added to the mix and romance and famly lie are added to the mix.
Highly recommend!

It's great to spend time with the McNeal's

Jerry is a father. Max has legally become his daughter. April is expecting. April and Max will be working officially for the Firm handling easy cases in order to free up Jerry up for the more difficult cases. Susie is having a problem with her new job. She likes her clients. It's the family members she has trouble coping with. Gunther and Houdini are trying to keep Sherlock out of trouble. Sherlock is growing into his abilities. Lots of chuckles!! Thoroughly enjoyable! Great job. Thank you.

Another perfect read!

I Love the jerry McNeil books! I especially enjoy hanging out with the dogs. The family, the ghosts, the storylines are all so enjoyable! It's great having reoccurring characters drop in from to book.
I do enjoy that it is not heavy reading.
I love that I can finish a book in just a few short hours. The characters provide relaxation and fun.
I am always looking forward to the next tale (and all of the dog tails, too!)

it’s never one thing

Jerry decides to go to Maine to check in on Susie Richardson. And next thing he knows it’s a family trip and Bunny brings a client and Fred needs him to oversee an important national security event. All in Maine. Never a dull moment. Thanks for continuing to write the Jerry McNeal books.

I love everyone on these books. Just wish the story was longer cause I have to wait for the next book. Great series. I love all the dogs cause I love German shepherds. I’ve had 3. Jackson is #3, a white German Shepherd. Maybe you can have him in the next book. Thanks Sherry for your wonderful books.

These are always a good read!

If your looking for a fun read on a rainy day, or just for an escape, this series is my go to! It's been fun watching this series progress. Yeah, you could read this first, and it would be a good read, but it would make more sense to start from the beginning. Therefore the characters that make appearances will make more sense.
Happy reading!

Another winner!

Love this series! I usually don’t like waiting for the next book in a series. In fact, I’ve only been patient enough to wait for series books from two authors. Sherry Burton is one of the two. I hope you will read about the adventures of Jerry McNeal, his “alive” family and the spirits that protect and challenge him.

I love this series. The author brings her characters to life like no other. When she releases each book in the Jerry McNeal series, I savor every moment and look forward to the next installment.
Gunter the ghost dog captures your heart. I feel like I know each character and can’t wait to see what will happen in their lives next. Sherry Burton has the gift through her writing.

I absolutely love this series.

The characters both alive a deceased are awesome. The comic relief is understandable and appreciated. Jerry and now his family are so full of love for each other. I can't wait for book 21 and hope there will be more

Full of fun! Feelings and family.

So glad to learn details of Jerry's grandmother's life...adds depth to the story. The spirits make it fun! That Max is truly his daughter now, was worth the wait. What teamwork! Good against evil. Friendly bad guys. BRING IT ON!!

Another good book by Sherry. Keeping the story fresh with 20 books isn’t easy, but she has done it again. Thank you for another good book. I’m looking forward to the next one.

I read the first Jerry McNeal and Gunter adventure thinking I probably won't care that much for this. Now I've just finished book 20 and I think I've given every book 5 Stars this one included. Keep them coming.

I was so happy to get another Jerry and Gunter story! This one was also awesome. . The suspense kept it so I didn't want to out the book down. I'm excited to see if the baby will have an ability!

Reunions and Solutions

Jerry once again uses his wits and ability to communicate with the dead to preserve national security, help a friend, and protect his family. Oops, I can’t forget about the three ghost dogs who add entertainment and humor.

Another winner

Another Winner! I always look forward to the next book. However, I did feel cheated on this one. The ending was rushed and the Sue storyline was very abruptly concluded.

love these dogs

These are great stories short with so much potential but still fun and the dog dynamic for dog lovers is fantastic so much we believe our own dogs to divulge to us here in funny believable stories

Fantastic!

The only thing wrong with this series is, they end too soon! They keep my attention the whole book long and I’m always rooting for Jerry and his family
