WHEN COULD SHE STOP RUNNING?

A thug had attempted to abduct Julia Daniels at gunpoint in broad daylight. In the very diner where the waitress worked—and across from the sheriff's office. Clearly, whoever was after the widowed mother would stop at nothing, including shooting a police officer. The handsome deputy sheriff who'd taken a bullet for Julia and saved her life vowed to protect her and her traumatized daughter.

First, though, Eric Butler needed the truth about why she'd sought refuge in Wildflower, Texas. But how could Julia tell him when it meant putting all their lives in grave danger?

CHALLENGE # 5- STATE NAME IN TITLE

Like many others on this site, some nights i have trouble shutting down my brain, so i toss & turn.
I keep a small pile of "harlequinn/silhouette/trash romances " on a bookshelf near my bed.
they're easy reads that allow me to calm my brain & relax.

i figured out a lot of the mystery plot elements but the suspense was still there.
good characters & story.
this was a quick read.
the "love inspired" aspect was light & w/in context. (ie. the characters prayed for help/guidance when needed)

Quick and easy read, although somewhat predictable and cliched. A decent amount of actions and suspense to keep you guessing and wondering until the very end.

That was one smart kiddo!
