Conner Black does not do relationships. He is a successful businessman and he runs his sex life the same way. Ellery Lane is an artist and a free spirit and she will not be controlled by anyone.

This is another one of those series where we get the second book and it's almost the same as the first one except it's from the H's POV.

Because of that, I'm linking my review for Forever Black:

http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...

The good news is the grammar/spelling errors that I found in the first book have been corrected immensely but I still felt that the story went on and on a bit too much.

The better news is that I loved getting Connor's POV. You get to understand more why he did and said the things he did. I loved hearing how Ellery affected him and how he couldn't quit thinking about her.

description

The best news is that we do get more...more about Connor's relationship with his family and with Denny, more about Peyton and Henry, more about Connor and Ellery and more about what happened after the end of Forever Black.

description

It will be interesting to see what happens in Forever Us. I had to read the blurb at the end just to get a taste of what might happen and it sounds really good!

Favorite quotes:

♥ "I noticed her smile when I called her beautiful. It made my heart do something weird which I can’t explain because I’ve never felt anything like it before."

♥ "Hell, I am a stalker, but only to Ellery Lane."

♥ "You’re different, Ellery, and you scare me. You make me feel things that I’ve never felt before. You’re all I think about, both day and night. I feel empty inside when you’re not around."

♥ “Infinity is forever, and that’s what you are to me. You are my forever, Mr. Black.”

♥ "If I had one last breath left, I would use it to tell you how much I love you, because I do, and I always will."

♦ "Ellery can skate you know, and she's good at it."

♥ "It will always be forever you."

(Note: yes...I did use a couple of the same quotes as I did with the first book...they were just that good!!)

What a phenomenal book!!!! Review to come in the morning.

I LOVED Forever Black so I was so excited to get Connor's POV in Forever You and I wasn't disappointed at all. I think I even fell more in love with Connor in this book. I enjoyed that we got to learn so much more about Connor and his past. Plus it was interesting to get his true feelings and reactions to some of the situations regarding Ellery. For me this book was even more emotional then Forever Black. I don't know what it is but I am a total sucker for the male POV. I really liked how at the end of this book Sandi Lynn set up for the next book Forever Us which is the continuation of Connor and Ellery's story.

I am so glad that Sandi Lynn created this book because to me it completed Forever Black. I would recommend this book to anyone who has read Forever Black and liked it because to me this book was even better.

"Dame that smile". I am smiling as I write, I loved Connor's POV. It was great see things through his eyes. I fell in love all over again at how attentive he was to Ellery. He made me sometimes cry as she someitmes made me laugh out loud with her feisty attitude. I cannot wait for Forever Us. My "Forever" question when?

I gave this book one star because less wasn't an option. This book was...in a word ... REDUNDANT!!! There was absolutely no need for this book to exist. Connor's POV Could have been shown in the first book, especially since there really wasn't much to it. As for the added info in the tale end of #2, that could have also easily been added to #1.

I feel this story is in no way worthy of a trilogy and is only meant as a money grab. There is no writing style unless "amateur" would be considered a style. The author makes consistent and repetitive grammatical errors as well as loses tense throughout her paragraphs.

Both books 1 & 2 read as if being dictated by the author instead of weaving a story. In a nutshell, the book was a nice idea for a simple romance, but was written poorly by a first time wannabe author in desperate need of an editor and a re-write. Ms. Lynn should be told that writing a story literally STUFFED with dramatic situations ( cancer three times , alcoholism, death of a twin, suicide of Another twin, pregnancy, vasectomy, death seven times, clinical trials, miracle cures, arson, etc) doesn't make it a dramatic, heart-wrenching or provocative novel if we don't feel anything for the under-developed characters. Really only ONE of those situations could've been more powerful if written well. Less is more, Ms. Lynn.

Total waste of money and time. A true disappointment. I really wanted to love this book.

I loved Forever Black, but Forever You did it for me..Connor's POV..wow!! All the emotions he felt when he found out about Elle was so heartbreaking, now we can understand..Connor and Elle were blessed with a second chance and I cant wait for Forever Us so we can see how they handle being parents and whatever else comes their way.

Sandi, amazing book! Cant wait to read more from you :) xo

It is always better to read from Hero POV. Now I understand what Connor going through and what is his feeling toward Ellery.

Again I wish the wording could be edited better with a more dramatic wording. Some words are too stiff and too rigid.

How is it even possible to love Connor Black more than I already did I'm not sure but I love him sooo much more. I was so excited to get to read his pov and I was not disappointed. I was elated. Flabbergasted. It now only leaves me wanting more, more and more. I think I could read about them until they are old and wrinkled. Ellery has suffered so much and faced so many obstacles but hat girl is feisty and I loved it. Connor is just wonderful. He certainly met his match when he met Ellery lane.

To watch their journey was excruciating and wonderful at the same time. The up and downs, the ins and outs of their relationship was a wild rollercoaster ride but one I had no desire to depart from. I was thrilled to watch it all unfold.

To know Conners pov opened up a heart stopping, pulse inducing fit inside if me. I was going crazy but in a good way. Now I am so ready for the next book.

The author so rocks. She definitely know what she is doing. So for that I give you....

Sandi was Kind enough to send this to me this am and I started it this right after she sent it , needless to say I was Consumed by this amazing book.

This is Forever You in Connor's POV . Let me tell you It is Just as Amazing in his POV, no actually it is Better in my opinion.

“Infinity is forever, and that’s what you are to me. You are my forever, Mr. Black.”

We left off in Forever Black with Connor and Ellery talking about their daughter . So you all know this one goes into alot more detail when the time comes and Ellery is pregnant.

I absolutely LOVED reading this book in Connor's POV. You get to see how he reacted to EVERYTHING in Forever Black from his POV . It broke my heart all over again when he found out Ellery's Cancer had come back and We get to Journey with Him When he leaves Michigan and drives back to new York by himself.

Looking at everything through Connors eyes was different in my eyes . I Loved how With each scene that we remember in Ellery's POV Sandi has added to it in Connor's POV and made it so much better.

I do not want to ruin it for anyone , so I will stop there and Just tell you this if you thought you did not need to read this because you read Forever Black , think again YOU NEED to read this one too.

“There's no limit to what I wouldn't do for you. Just ask, and it will be done, no matter the sacrifice,”

I LOVED Ellery Just as much in this one as I did in Forever Black and Maybe a little more too. We see her through Connor's Eyes and I truly understand now why they are so much in love .

“I love you, Ellery. Not only for whom you are, but for the person I’ve become because of you. This is my forever to you.”

“You complete me, Ellery. You’ve given me a life of happiness that I never knew existed, and I’ll spend the rest of my life thanking you.”

“You have nothing to fear, Ellery, because I’ll take care of you regardless of what the results show. I’m your lifeline, and I promise to give you a healthy life and future no matter the cost or sacrifice.”

“You don’t have to say a word, Ellery, I know how much you love it; I can tell by the look on your face. This was built for you because I love you. I want to give you every dream you’ve ever dreamed, every happy moment you never had, every bit of love you’ve ever lost, and most importantly, a family. This home, our home, is my future with you, and we’re going to spend the rest of our lives making beautiful memories here.”

“I could never understand my purpose in this world. I’ve had nothing but pain and loss my whole life. But now I know why God saved me the first time. It was so I could find you. Then he saved me the second time so I could love you forever. This house is perfect; you’re perfect, and no one will ever take that away from us. Our love is infinite, and I’m going to spend the rest of my life showing you.”

Dr. Taub looked at me and smiled. “You’re pregnant, Ellery.”
“Shut the fuck up!” Peyton blurted out.
<<<<<<< ABSOLUTELY BUSTED OUT LAUGHING AT PEYTON'S RESPONSE

Ok So I made a mistake...Although I absolutely Loved Loved Loved Forever You I should not have read it right after I read Forever Black....It made it feel repetitive which made some parts a little boring for me...totally my fault :(

Other than that..I will be completely honest and say I loved this one better than the first...It was amazing!!! Connor's POV was the best idea ever!!! My favorite Connor quote "damn that smile" loved it!!!I smiled every time he said it!

I was heartbroken when he was...I was happy when he was... I did not cry in the first one but with Connor I got a little emotional :*(

I loved the ending the most we got to see how Connor handled Ellery's pregnancy which I laughed out loud in some parts...We got to see the wedding...and experience when Ellery got the good news!!!

I can not wait to read Forever Us!!!

Sandi did a seriously amazing job with Connor's POV! Ya know how sometimes it just a rehash of past events? Yea, it's so not like that. And other times the author tries so hard NOT to rehash events if feels like you're missing something? Yea, not that either. It's a fine line but Sandi balanced it perfectly! Adored the ending! And can't wait to see Elle and Connor deal with parenthood!

I don't know what it is but I'm starting to like books better from the male' POV!

I needed some time to formulate my thoughts because I love Sandi dearly and didn't want her to think I was just blowing smoke up her ass. LOL Sandi, all those people who told you they thought this book was even better weren't lying. I really liked Forever Black but I love Forever You and I'm pretty sure that had something to do with it being in Connor' s POV. I just love getting the males perspective on the story. I'll be patiently...or maybe not so patiently, waiting for Forever Us.

Forever You – Sandi Lynn

4 stars!!

You need to have read Forever Black before you read this!! This is basically Forever Black but from Connor’s point of view with a few bonus chapters at the end.

It was great to get Connor’s point of view, with Forever Black really concentrating on Ellery’s struggles with cancer, this book concentrated on Connor Black falling in love for the first time. This book was very emotional but for a completely different reason. Connor had sworn off relationships as these hot billionaires always do and all that was put to the side when he awoke from a night out to find her in his kitchen…breaking one of his rules.

We know the story so I won’t concentrate on that but I think that Sandi Lynn really did herself proud with this male POV, I did get choked a lot. Connor was actually very deep and he was in very deep even though we didn’t really get that impression in Forever Black, he put himself out there. I do think that his past hang ups and the reasons behind him were genuine but he had dwelled on them for far too long and this was not helped by the evil twin sister who I could have happily throttled. It was these little eye openers that finally made me realise why he was the way he was.

The lengths that he went to though to ensure Ellery’s safety and happiness had me smiling and grinning throughout this book and I just loved it…you can’t help but fall in love with him even more.

I can’t wait to read book 3, I am hoping that this will be alternate POV’s as it is the continuation of their story, it would be great to see how both of them are feeling and thinking as they go on the rest of their journey together.

“There’s no limit to what I wouldn’t do for you. Just ask, and it will be done, no matter the sacrifice”

“I could never understand my purpose in this world. I’ve had nothing but pain and loss my whole life. But now I know why God saved me the first time. It was so I could find you. Then he saved me the second time so I could love you forever”.

4.95 Stars!!!

I loved it. It's basically the same story that is in Forever Black but this time told from the hero, Connor's point of view.

In the first book I thought Connor was a scarey stalker who was devious and secretive. I thought that he was disconnected from his family and despite what he said, had a crazy thing for Ashley...the twin sister of his old dead girlfriend.

But in this rendition of the life of Ellery and Connor I see that I was wrong. Yeah, he does pursuit what he wants with zeal, but he seems a bit more reasonable. His big problem...is that he get's mad and withdraws instead of talking about it. I suppose with his past with women....he is protecting his heart from being broken by playing the cold as ice routine to keep him safe.

I liked the relationship that Peyton and Henry had with Connor and Ellery too. In fact, from Connor's POA, everyone seemed more connected and loving between all the characters. I can understand Connor's being angry about the big secret that Ellery keeps. I can tell this author has some first hand knowledge of how disease works from the things she says and situations she describes. I am also glad that Connor really was not trying to pull one over and was not attached to any of these women as I had suspected in book 1.

I really liked this book and felt happy for this couple. From book 1 we have a glimpse into the future to see what challenges are coming as this couple tackle parenthood, marriage and 'other' obstacles. I am really looking forward to the third and last book to tie everything up for us as readers. Excellent read. Looking forward to "fall of 2013."

I'm not going to rate this one. I shouldn't have picked it up, knowing that I didn't care for the first one.

I'm sure if you liked the first, you'll like this one.

I felt like, after the first book, that I didn't understand or really know Connor. I guess i thought maybe reading his POV would give me a prospective on his and Ellery's relationship that I would enjoy more, but unfortunately, it didn't. I think maybe the authors writing style just isn't for me. I had the same reservations about the characters relationship that I had in the first book (not surprising since it was basically the same story). I didn't find him to be any more of a sympathetic character then in the first book. (In fact there were a few things that had my downright questioning his intelligence) .

I did like the "extra" that was added on to the end. It did make me happy that there seemed to be a period of time where they managed to jump out is some of their dysfunctional relationship dynamics. I have no idea how the author is going to extend the story into an additional book, but I'm going to know better next time, and leave it alone.

“I was simply a man with no meaning until I met you, and I’m proud of whom I’ve become because
of you. We’ve been through a lot together, and we will continue to go through a lot, but we’ll conquer
whatever life throws our way, together. I want to thank you for being my best friend, and my lover.” I
got down on one knee and pulled the small velvet box from my pocket. I looked up at Ellery as the
tears wouldn’t stop flowing down her face. “I want to be more than just your lover; I want to be your
happily ever after, your best friend, your husband, and I want you for my wife. Will you marry me,
Ellery Lane?”

“You have me to take away all your fears. I know waiting is the hardest
part, but the results will come back normal. You were made for me, and I will never let anything or
anyone take you away. It will always be forever you.”

“You have nothing to fear, Ellery, because I’ll take care of you regardless
of what the results show. I’m your lifeline, and I promise to give you a healthy life and future no
matter the cost or sacrifice.”

Sandi Lynn you nailed it again!!!!! Its great to know the other side of the story, I'm reliving again how these two amazing people met, the struggles they experienced together and the overflowing love they felt.

There's not enough stars for this book! It was amazing to see how Connoe felt in love with Ellery and also to see a little bit more of their story after Forever Black.
You can't help to fall at least a little bit in love with Connor Black! But besides him it's also impossible not to fall in love with this entire book.
Connor is an amazing, loving and HOT man and it was great to see he getting mature and changing from someone without a heart to someone with so much to give.
Ellery...well Ellery is just so good! She's had so much suffering in her life but inspite (or because) of it, she has a lot of compassion and love to give...she had her weak and feary moments but she was entitled to them!
I just loved to see them grow as individuals and also as a couple. Together they have a very strong force.
I can't wait for Forever Us, I'm sure by then I'll be crazy missing Connor and once I start reading it I'll be even more in love with him!!!

Even though I had already fallen head over heels for Connor Black in Forever Black, I must say I was pretty disgusted by him and his playboy was in the beginning of Forever You. In the end, he once again made me fall head of heels for him. I can't wait to read the conclusion of Connor and Ellery's story in Forever Us!
